- So, like, I did it all in 3 days wtf. Anyway, I really wanted this project to be something else. And I kinda ended up with a short film. That was definitely an experience. I started making the music after playing some Fez, which for sure inspired me a bit in harmony department. Anyway, thank you all for your interest! Oh, yeah, I also wanted to set up my own Patreon, cause those things take time unfortunately and I'm not planning on losing my job (yet). So if you'd like to support me, I'd be extremely happy! Thank you all

Previous Videos feels like nature documentary. This one is more like a fever dream. But it makes me feel the pain of the Mantelope. Its like they remember being human but they have no power to escape their body. They are stuck in the endless cycle of singing and remembering the past. It is fitting for them to lose their human consiousness as they evolve. Sad but that is how evolution works.
Beautiful, sad and creepy. Love your videos. It keeps getting better and better.
Just smart enough to know how fucked they are, but not smart enough to make anything out of the situation. The life of a mantelope
@@dirtydeeds576 :'(
@@agama__ the colonials were just skin flaps but they fought to became the modular people. Mantelopes just gave up plain and simple
@@markperalta7722 It's a good message showing two circumstances of people, one arguably worse , that pulled through (What did the Colonial say to the moping Mantelope? "Bitch, PLEASE!") and made a better lives for themselves out of better attitudes. But it might be more complicated. The colonials did pray for extinction when the Qu left but of the Qu's twisted sense of justice and apparent sadism, they could have engineered the genetics of the colonials brains to be so dominant, they would maintain sentience and intelligent regardless of how many generations go by to ensure an eternity of agony from their helpless sunbaked forms -- like the opposite of the lizard herders who were engineered to be dumb regardless of any evolution.
@@markperalta7722 The diference is that the colonials were incapable of killing themselves
It's so melancholic. The sadness hits hard when you realise extinction/death was a mercy to them. To have all the brilliance of human mind but no means to express that. To feel all the human emotions sympathy, love, longing yet unable tell another soul. That hauntingly beautiful and heartbreakingly sorrowful melody is just on another level.
Fabulous job done by the artist.
They didn’t go extinct. They just lost their sentience because a stupid, simple minded animal has a better life than a conscious, sad one. The human mind isn’t sacred to evolution. It was given to us, and it can be taken.
The complaining quadrupeds can go. Wanna hear about the sentient Minecraft blocks?
This honestly made me tear up a little bit
You captured the mourning songs and despair of the Mantelopes so well, especially showing the flashing between the human eye and the Mantelope eye and the human shadow on the ground besides the Mantelope at the end, really showing the human trapped inside
I never thought I'd cry over one of these animations but here I am
The fact their shadow is different it resembles their human form

*you just had to make me cry, didn't you?*
Holy crap, this looks amazing. I never would have imagines the mantelopes sounding like that. I thought it would be a bit creepy because that's just how i see the mantelopes in general but you really made justice to the sad aura that surrounds their story and their lives. Amazing work as always
That little end bit with them casting a human shadow was gold
1:42 that scene is terrifying, yet incredible. to think that once this human had a life, feelings for his family, for someone this person loved, dreams to make come true, probably had amazing moments in his life, and then he sees himself trapped into a body that was not his own. It really made me think and feel something! this video is a masterpiece, obviously your best.
The Qu has already left at this point so this individual was never human, just descended from them. They remember their sorrow through oral tradition, as they were designed to do

I really like how the other ones felt more like a documentary while this one just outright shows the depressing world of the mantelopes; their daily life of mournful singing and reminiscing about their former human self.
I begin to slowly realize how much I actually relate to the Mantelopes, having all that knowledge and potential yet unable to actually utilize it. That's what I have observed on myself, having all the necessary skills and knowledge I need, yet still can't use them to their full potential. But atleast I'm fortunate enough to have this body and the tools I need, something that a Mantelope would never have so atleast I could have a better chance at actually succeeding. I know this sounds stupid but i actually find them relatable.

Outstanding job!
This feels so Melancholy and Nostalgic, you can hear the pain and sadness, the want to return to the past.
Hauntingly beautiful. I'm so glad All Tomorrows has had this huge spike in popularity and fan content.
Your animations are incredible. Anyone in film knows how rare it is to be as multi-talented as Woźniakowski. This also encapsulates such a niche feeling that I feel like there's nowhere I can turn to share this with anyone else. After watching something so profound, it made me feel lonely not to be able to tell anyone. My only solace was this RUclips comment.
Did you make this music
Genuine fucking chills run down my back every time I watch this. What a masterpiece, and I do not use that word lightly.
I’m glad this actually captures the despair of their experience and isn’t just another meme.
The shadow at the very end is just
*mwwwah*, chef’s kiss
I just realized at the end with the mantalope standing on the hill his shadow is a human. Bro that little touch so good
This is so sad. Have human mind but cannot do anything with those body 😢
Now I feel even more sad after learning their story. This was truly an awesome animation.
Seeing that Qu statue filled me with a sense of bitter rage.
You know it's a good video when it makes you feel something.
Y'know, one of my favorite parts about these videos is the graininess and dream-like look of them. I imagine it's just how it's rendered or something like that but even if it's not exactly intentional, it adds a lot to the bizarre unreal nature of All Tomorrows and its world. Best video yet.
2:24 shadow perfect
oh my god the shadow at the end.
wonderful details, the eye scene was so emotional
When the stone with a carving that resembled a human being got shown, I burst into tears
Holy crap freaking well done... the attention to details in capturing how tragic the mantalopes really are is incredibly impressive. I'll be constantly going back to watch this
There singing is actually really peaceful
This is so hauntingly beautiful, especially with the human shadow at the end!

Somehow managed to be one of the most haunting things ive ever seen, the melancholic singing perfectly encapsulates the grief of the future humans, I'll never get over the terrifying idea of slowly watching your children and your children's children lose their sentience... it's too sad
Man I wish we could have a series about this. The song is so eerie and beautiful
Honestly would like to listen to this on Spotify man, beautiful
You’re getting better and better with each video. I’m amazed and beyond impressed at the same time.
I love the last part where as the camera pans out, you can see the mantalope’s shadow is that of a human. Brilliant work. The whole thing is just amazing!
This is our FUTURE.
It's beautiful. Having the intelligence of a human and being in the body of a giraffe... I think the video captured the melancholy of their world perfectly.
The harmony in their sorrow is so gut-wrenching. The weight of their loss was greater than their will to turn the tides and it got to them quickly.
Colonials = worst fate
Mantelopes = saddest fate
This is so much better than any marvel movie
Look at the stone on the left at 1:33, and you'll see something glittering around it. It looks like some kind of hieroglyph, Meaning that isn't an ordinary stone, but a leftover of the star people's technology.
Nice attention to detail :)
@Someone
I complimet the creator of this video ofcourse
Now this is fckin sad. Their story might be the most depressing one. Even more so than the colonials. They sang their sad songs through generations about their horrible past and what they became. What the Qu did to them. Hoping for a better life in the future and remembering their once human selves. They were fully aware and humanlike in their minds but they couldn't do anything about it because their bodies. Then they slowly lost their intelligence over time so they couldn't remember about their past and couldn't feel the sadness and sorrow. So they finally lived somewhat happier. Ignorant but happier. Fuck now I'm depressed.
I imagine them still remembering them standing up able live peacefully
Despite how horrifying all this is and how sad the backstory of these Mantelopes are. The song they sing translates sadness, and beauty.
From the music to the visual storytelling, it's crazy how you keep upping things with every video.
I really want to hug a Mantelope now
Fuck, homie. This shits so fire. The sound design is absolutely amazing. It really puts into perspective the way they moved, sounded, mourned, etc. It brings me chills every time.
this managed to make me cry in real life, feeling a profound sorrow i could never hope to put into words.
Super cool. Super haunting
Chills when I saw the shackles laid at the decaying statue of the Qu..they remember all
If only this was a movie
That's one short film for Wazniakowski, one giant leap for All Tomorrows fanbase
It is strange that the Mantelopes failed to build their own civilization. Their structure is certainly not entirely optimal, but it is roughly the same as that of reptiles. And the same Titans or Modular People had a much less adapted body for building a civilization and survival, however.
I keep watching this over and over. In a mild way, i relate to the mantelope. I have all these ideas and curiosity but i habe some illnesses that make it hard for me to express that. I really do feel like a human trapped in a body i cant effectively use. It can be easy to fall into depression with somerhing like that when theres no end of limitation in sight. Im taking the mantelopes as a warning.
The mantelope felt sad becsuse they couldn't achieve what they viewed was their past potential. Maybe they should have accepted a new potential based on their limitations. It's important to create a new future based on any limitations or opportunities. Maybe they could have come up with fun word games or cultures or religions. They csnt build physically but maybe the can create fantasy worlds in their minds and share mental skills and over time evolution might have given them back some form of ability to create physically.
Eventually, other species were able to sometimes get bakc to a physical state where they could build cities. If the mantelopes had been able to keep their intelligence maybe they could have done the same. Hope is really important.
Humanity is supposedly shaped by stories, kind hit me hard that we've reach this level of artistry and intelligence now where we the people can create our own so widely, in as full flesh as could be. Incredible work for bringing this idea to life so viscerally, All tomorrows is some powerful stuff.
That was amazing. Upset I only now discovered people made 3d animations about All Tomorrows. Thanks so much for making and uploading this.

I honestly feel like Mantelopes are a contradiction to the rest of the story. One of the main points of All Tomorrows is that reguardless how incredibly fucked humanity became, almost all of them regained their humanity eventually unless they were extinguished by natural disasters or food scarcity.
By comparing their plight to the worm people, the dolphin people and the *brick* people, their situation was highly favorable. They didnt need to evolve sentience, they had active moving bodies with great memory retention, they were *on land*, they were herbivores with seemingly no natural predators so food scarcity was unlikely. You mean to tell me that every Mantelope just *decided* to give up? None of them decided to find the means to use their advanced intellect to create technologies to adapt to their new bodies?
I get that their position was unfavorable, but meanwhile the living shit bricks evolve to make an advanced utopian society while youre crying about having horse legs.

So for centuries, mournful herds roamed the plains, singing songs of separation and loss. They created whole religions and oral traditions around their grief and frustration until gradually, mercifully, their agony faded. The degradation of sentience is one element, as the once-complex minds of the mantelopes fall to practically nothing. They sing the sings, maybe as mating calls, as signals for incoming predators, as signals for the rputes that should be taken by the herd or even as mournings for their dead. The Mantelopes will still retain the knowledge of their ancestors that had relevance to their environment, and make songs about them.
