I was born and spent my early childhood in Old Aberdeen in the shadow of #1 and #2 picks, St Machar’s Cathedral and Kings College. 😢Interesting video in spite of the absolutely awful pronunciation of many of the names of the various points of interest.
I’ve never been there and now I don’t get around to good but I don’t want to just visit I would love to live there I’m about 60% Scottish I’m related to 1 million clans over there the Wallace clan the Stewart clan I could go on… My son visit it Ireland couple years ago and his fiancé went with her sister just a few weeks ago to Scotland and said it was beautiful that’s where my heritages I wish I could live there
Why can't you learn how to pronounce names in the city properly.? Eg Machar and Balgownie. Also Peterhead is the biggest fishing port in Scotland. The University of Aberdeen was founded in 1495 and Crathes Castle isn't in Aberdeen but up Deeside.
‘Ma char’ should be pronounced Macker. And St is pronounced Saint. ‘Saint Macker’ ‘Pro-voste’ is pronounced provest. Craths castle should be pronounced crath-ess.
I live in Aberdeenshire. The darkness of the granite and cloud cover is extremely depressing. Even in the summer it's never warm in the city, the beach is filthy, shops are closing down in the city and shire daily. The North East accent is an awful sound, the old people are barely comprehensible and the kids talk with a whiny, nasally tone and a weird accent that almost sounds like they're faking an American accent. The people are either rich or impoverished, no in between. I'm moving next month. The three years I've spent in this area have been the most depressing time in my life. It's a hideous place, it should be flattened to ground zero
This is my fourth month living in Cumbria. I love it here. It's much closer to where I grew up (south west Scotland) so I'm only an hour away from friends and family. Life has drastically improved, my mindset is much more positive. I think I'll avoid any offers of adventures north of Glasgow from now on
Massive thank Scotland ❤
My mother was born in Aberdeen - she passed about 12 years ago, but I would love to visit there sometime.
The silver city on the golden sands!

It's NOT pronounced Machar.
The American pronunciation of place names is all wrong.
12.08.2024🎉🎉🎉🎉
The dialogue is too quick and mispronounced, making the video very difficult to follow
I agree
Thank you for your feedback, We will try our best in next videos and correct these things. :)

Why AI should be banned. Or Americans.
