Important NOTE! If you rotate the object in object mode, artifacts will appear again. You can also fix this by hanging another “Vector Transform” node behind the “Normal” output and in front of the “Separate XYZ” node.
Thank you for your work! Can you please put it in the public domain? You will save a huge amount of time for those who want to replicate it themselves. Thank you
I have no idea why, but in my case this would only work properly if that separate Combine XYZ with doesnt have any inputs going it has its X set to 1, not to Minus 1 as here, i tried figuring out what i did wrong because my images wouldne display properly, but turning minus 1 to just 1 worked
@@OviGomy Hello again, ive been playing around with your original node setup for 2 days, and i managed to make smth very cool, so, i didnt like that if tgere were two interior mapping faces on the corder, the ingerior wall that is a window wall from the outside still displays a wall from inside :( So i managed to make it so if you are looking from outside at window on ther corner, you are able to see through another window at 90 degrees, plus, that fake interior is still present with holes for windows, ive made it work with environment texture alpha channel, though in blender it doesnt have alpha channel ob itself, i made it through BSDF, and i also used vertex coloring in order to properly rotate two faces on the corners, I know its impossible go get what ive made, reading the text I might even make just a video showing it later Because its super cool

You had my interest with a parallax shader, and you had my attention with a Cardassian starship.
Nice to see this shader is helpful. I don't know why it works but it does and the improvement makes it so much better.
Thank you so much for this tutorial and for providing the project files!
Sweet! I was literally just looking for something like this yesterday. I appreciate the video 🙏

I uploaded the project files and the HDRIs to this location:

@@OviGomy That's very much appreciated, thank you
i was getting angry because i followed the tutorial to a tee and then i realised i missed out on rotating the plane at 90° angle in edit mode
Thanks for your guide!!!!!
Thank you for watching.

Maybe the face is pointing in the opposite direction. But If it is working for you. it should be ok.

6 Months, Lol!
hope you make more stuff longer & prosper. thx...merci.....Danke......

i have strong feeling there is easier solution. But stil good job ... thanks
Since I don't undestand the original node graph, I agree.
