You know what I love most about this video? The owner. He seems so calm and collected, quiet, respectful, humble. You can't find a reason to dislike him. I wish more car owners were like him, and not these hot headed "tuner" guys this side of the ocean.
I take my hat off to this man. 40 years old and looks like his late 20's and looking handsome and is a cool guy. And then built this completely unique and cool Silvia and fulfilled his dream. Great job mate! What an
Its the builds that have a story, a meaning behind the driving force that makes tuning, modding and building cars so fun. It doesn't madder if your a domestic or import lover. Its the love for the hobby and life style. I personally don't like that Silvia, but that don't madder its still beautiful car with the story:). its the fact that he loves it with his heart ans soul, that's all that madders.
im not too crazy about the car it self but i do have an appreciations for the craftsmanship along with ones own sense of pride and enjoyment in to a vehicle they own your videos really are always top notch, keep up the great work
If I'm not mistaken, there is a photo shown that he got a group of friends with the same kind of ride, military style! Hoping u can feature all of them too in one vid. Good job on covering this one!
Man i always loved the way jet fighter planes and miltary war planes looked, especially the ones that had the shark on them. I never dreamed of building a car in that style it looks so cool. This car really inspires me.
you are 100% right! Its the builds that have a story, a meaning behind the driving force that makes tuning, modding and building cars so fun. It doesn't madder if your a domestic or import lover. Its the love for the hobby and life style. I personally don't like that Silvia, but that don't madder its still beautiful car with the story:)
I like the "completeness" of this build, Japanese really know how to commit to a theme! My favorite parts are the rear passenger window covers and the flat black engine!
I love it! Originality and innovation. That's what the car scene used to be about. Being bold and different. Not sitting back and waiting to copy the next trend.
The world needs more people like Satomi Nakawatase, people who say: I don't give a shit about what you think, this is my car and I will do what I want to it!
Old school Japanese cars. Like the old Datsun Z cars, old Skylines like the C10 Hakosuka. The Toyota 2000GT is also very high up on my list. I am very fond of 70's japanese cars that looks clean. Those cars have a true soul. :)
see thats why i LOVE THIS SCENE ! Building cars, it tells a story behind the Owner and its Beautiful car man. Its Something Different and i actually Like it ! You Will Never See Another Like That. Nice as hell bro Keep Up The Good Work ! Loving Those Rims, Can't Wait Till My S13 Hatch Comes Out Looking Better:D
it reminds me of mad max and Delta force movies from when i was a kid. this car is my screen saver and desktop at work. i share the photos with all my friends. it's pure awesome.
My favorite part of this ride is the fender made out of license plates, sick shit. I didnt like the window coverings at all but one of a kind ride! It reminds me of how mini truck guys are modding their trucks.
It's his style lots of people like it don't hate on the car because it doesn't have a suspension the way you like it. Personally it makes the car look even better.
Awesome, I just wish the s13 twin that I've seen along side this car got some love...for some reason no one has even mentioned it anywhere until I randomly saw it through japanese vids...
I've seen this car in other places before. It's so cool. It's so unique and the look is really well done. Those window covers are really strange, but I like them too. It's got a bit too much camber for my taste though. Great feature, nonetheless.
Thanks for anwser ;) I really like the license plates on the right side of the car. Looks awesome. And the panel made of stickers is just amazing. I wish I could bild you of these beasts :)
I love the livery, I love the plastic model kits (the ones you build) in particular WW2 bombers and fighters (call me a freak if you like XD) And to see a life sized reincarnation of these in the form of a truly epic piece of engineering is cool.
I'm a Euro style guy, but man. You have to respect all the money and time he put into this. Although, I laughed really hard when I saw the steering column. Isn't that like 3 quick release hubs stacked up??
I think you'd be surprised, I once lowered a Rodeo pickup/ute about 6 inches and thought I'd get away with a drive from Sydney to Canberra without getting the wheels aligned till i got back (bad idea), that trip used up at least 1/4 of my availale tyre wear. Obviously i got an alignment as soon as i got back to sydney, problem solved. Good wheel alignment/tyre rotation = underrated. btw, this is probably one of the strangest youtube discussions i've had........wheel alignment/tyre wear...hmm :)
sure... you're right! and so far for sarcasm... I do respect what he did with the car, true art coming from a good idea, and very well executed but really you guys are crazy, maybe you're a silvia fan and in that way i can understand what your saying grtzzz
Awesome craftsmanship and imagination. I'm not really a fan of the wheels, their colour or the offset as they don't seem to follow through with the militaristic styling of the car, but otherwise I really like it - it's different and that's cool.
Maybe its just a fun car to drive around in...not every car has to be a Nurburgring conqueror. Such a badass car, the visual mods could have flopped hard but he pulled it off well. You'd never see a car like this Australia, everyone just plays it safe and the few that do try something different get hated on for it.
Just amazing,so much work, effort and money involved in this project...in my contry you can't legalize half of the visual modifications even if you're Jesus....congrats to the man !!!
I remember watching this like 10 years ago and took me a while to find this gem again. I still can't get over that fender, such a dope idea!
You know what I love most about this video? The owner. He seems so calm and collected, quiet, respectful, humble. You can't find a reason to dislike him. I wish more car owners were like him, and not these hot headed "tuner" guys this side of the ocean.

Thank you for featuring this car!
This video is very much appreciated and shows the amazing skill Satomi Nakawatase has with cars.
That fully black engine fits this car absolutely amazing! Much respect to the guy
Despite the stance, this man took a car, and built it the way he wanted. Mad respect. The level of detail is amazing.
It's unique...nothing around like it..its a true one off plus the work that gone in to it is just amazing. Looks amazing and has one hell of a stance.
I have so much respect for guys like this that truly love their car and make it their own.
This car would fit right in on the planet Junkion.
im not too crazy about the car it self but i do have an appreciations for the craftsmanship along with ones own sense of pride and enjoyment in to a vehicle they own
your videos really are always top notch, keep up the great work
That car is truly one of a kind, major props to the owner.
Amazing build. i have to replicate that license plate fender.
3:08 is the beauty of this car...you will never see another one like it.

I love all the car enthusiast in Japan... almost all 40 and up ppl are still enjoying their cars. You don't see that a lot on many other nations.
I watched this video about 3 years ago. Thought about this car today, amazing build. Love it.

Respect for this man, you need to put a lot of heart into building car like this.
u sir are a genius disguised as a normal, modest bloke. much respect!! love this awesome motor
i have to say i've looked at few cars on this channel, and i've found them to be very unique and beautiful
I like the "completeness" of this build, Japanese really know how to commit to a theme! My favorite parts are the rear passenger window covers and the flat black engine!
I love it. It stands out. If he takes it to a normal show he'd most likely get the biggest group around the car because its different.
AWESOME! I love how made the engine bay look all old and rusty. So cool!
Wow this is incredible. This guy really has a true passion!!
So nice to see those kids smile...I like how it's different. Nice set up!
I love it! Originality and innovation. That's what the car scene used to be about. Being bold and different. Not sitting back and waiting to copy the next trend.
The world needs more people like Satomi Nakawatase, people who say: I don't give a shit about what you think, this is my car and I will do what I want to it!
Wow, finally got to see a video of his car. This thing is sick.
This is such an awesome motor! We need to get it on our channel...
this car is a perfect example that every car is a persons own story. nothings ugly in the eye of the beholder, so be cool and take in the awesomeness!
I love videos like these, it inspires me to one day start my own car project from scratch, build it from the ground up just the way I like it :)
i come here monthyly since 2013

Dam this is the type of car where you stand and look at it for hours due to its art work on the car i like to see ore of this car.
Love cars that become works of art! One of my favorite s14s on the planet.
My favorite part of this ride is the fender made out of license plates, sick shit. I didnt like the window coverings at all but one of a kind ride! It reminds me of how mini truck guys are modding their trucks.
Never seen anything like this before. Well done!!
vintage piece of art, beautiful done
It's his style lots of people like it don't hate on the car because it doesn't have a suspension the way you like it. Personally it makes the car look even better.

I'm a Euro style guy, but man. You have to respect all the money and time he put into this. Although, I laughed really hard when I saw the steering column. Isn't that like 3 quick release hubs stacked up??
Love it or hate, execution is perfect.
Well, In my opinion, Your crew should make a video about R34 Skylane :) The beast is just sick. Or videos about drifting are great too :)
So unique! Love it. It nice to see something different
Vell done video, love the contrast, and the pictures with the children and the yello caps and backpacks. Oh yes,...nice car :)
dude the offset is off the bars, but dang it looks awesome!! looks subtle and personal
I love your car! originality at its finest!
Master piece ! this is impressive
Talk about creating something unique from an overused platform. Insane!
New wheels and less camber and you have a sexy freaking car!
I think you'd be surprised, I once lowered a Rodeo pickup/ute about 6 inches and thought I'd get away with a drive from Sydney to Canberra without getting the wheels aligned till i got back (bad idea), that trip used up at least 1/4 of my availale tyre wear. major respect for this dude...
true but does it offer any kind of advantage? a small amount does but does this much actually do anything beyond physical appearance?
Each to his own. That is his style.
I love his fenders are the plates painted on?
:|
is there a performance reason the wheels are at an angle? Seen it on some cars but never figured why...
yeah dude everything else is sick and creative good job :)
Perfect Silvia! Awesome imagination and great execution.
1:03 he gets out and looks back thinking 'yeah that looks fuckin sick' . Top man, gorgeous car.
