People don't get Magnus. He's into his Porsche's, period. He doesn't compete, he's into the car and has his own world. I really respect him for that. Do your own thing. Forget the rest.
Of course, but that's not my meaning at all. He's not into whipping out his virtual penis to prove to people he has a better Porsche than you. If he was like this, he'd be driving the newest of the new Porsches and modifying them to 1000 HP. That's not his scene.
I mean the least he can do is keep these cars running after the net loss he created with hot topic and the resulting overweight emo girls with 70 piercings
Magnus Walker is living the dream! I'm so impressed and amazed at what he (and his wife) has accomplished in terms of his business success and the commitment he possesses to collecting these Porsches and restoring and racing them. He is undoubtedly and unmistakably the most intense Porsche 911 fan I've ever run seen. Magnus, if by any chance you read this; keep up the phenomenal work and please continue following your dream! You are truly an inspiration to your fellow Porschephiles the world over. Your love and dedication to these cars is nothing short of visionary. We love you buddy, keep making us proud!
I thank this guy for leaving great cars like this as stock as possible. too many cars these days are being torn to shreds for speed. sometimes you just have to enjoy the ride.
I own 03 996TT, and love older Porsches, This video is probably one of my fav by Magnus, Funny thing is when he mentioned about posters on the wall. Because I have one of 996TT on the wall from autoshow in my garage--- back in 2001 - I told my self that the day will come and I WILL own one, now i have one and same poster on the wall - Every time I pop garage door open , I smile.
Thank you Magnus for sharing your beautiful Porsche collection with us. I think the fact that one of those cars can sit for so long and then run perfectly is a wonderful testament to how those cars are built.
I interrupted Mr. Walker one day in November as he sat near his car along PCH. Wonderful if brief interaction, and came away impressed with his positive attitude.
I'd love to just sit and talk Porsches all day with him. Not many people anymore care for cars and actually know anything. Magnus Walker is a prime example of a true car enthusiast.
All Magnus Walker videos on youtube are awesome. His passion is so evident. This man should become Porsche's president for all his passion and hardwork with Porsche cars.
Not naturally a Porsche 911 fan but Magnus has made me have a whole new appreciation for them and this video of the 911 Turbos is amazing and fascinating... Thanks!
I drove an 930 turbo Targa but with the bigger intercooled Engine and it was insane... when the boost kicks in...all Hell breaks loose. Was one Hell of a Experience.
I own the identical car the silver 3 liter turbo 930. I LOVE IT 1976. My engine is out, I have a 500HP 3.4 liter motor. The 3 liter I still own. Greetings from Australia
how long have you had it and how much did you pay for it if you dont mind me asking.. ? :) thanks and godbless.. ive been a huuuge 911 fan ever since i first saw the first bad boys movie when i was young! ..!
gixxerboy22 Hello Friend how are you, I have owned my Porsche for 18 years. I paid $46.000 Aussie dollars, now I am getting offers over triple the money more. But I refuse to sell itbecause I know as soon as I hand the keys over, I WILL REGRET IT BIG TIME. Greetings from Australia
gixxerboy22 Hello friend I must say I felt so proud buying that car no fianance, paid cash and drove it home at age 27. I keeped getting pulled over bye the Police as they thought the car was stolen or I shouldn't be in it. The Police officer always used to say how did you manage to own a car like this. I reply, bloody hard work. It has new triple stitch interior, 5 speed gear box, engine, big money spend on this 930. Greetings from Australia
Ivica Manovic thank you for responding. i would love to talk more. plz message me on kik : anthonymiller2 or my facebook : anthonyduceducemiller@yahoo.com thanks and godbless :)
Huge respect to this guy he loves what he loves he loves talking about the cars history and his own history and he drives them all most porsche owners keep them in a garage forever but magnus drives his all the time
There was a silver 930 just like that down the street from me, sitting right in front of my bus stop when I was a kid. Love at first sight. I'll have one some day :)
This guy again. Cool! I love the passion he has for his cars. His hair and beard looked funny blowing in the wind too. I liked the driving shots as well. Great lighting.
very inspiring. I love the fact, that a collector like him knows his cars that well and even work on it on his own. Not like the most collector which handle cars like a investment.
Well done, Magnus. That's an excellent film about your collection - and indeed about the Porsche brand. I currently have a C4S and am expecting to change to a 911 Turbo or Turbo S next year. Every Porsche owner I've ever spoken to agrees that nothing drives like a Porsche - and all also agree, that they'd never have any other make of car. What more can you say? Many thanks again, Magnus - enjoyed it.
This man's voice is very intriguing. Better then the story tellers in most of Porsche's commercials. Porsche, hire him to commentate on your future commercials! By the way, beautiful cars.
From what I've read he sold felt hats down at Venice Beach in the early 90's, has been described as a "clothing entrepreneur" which probably means "making a bundle of $'s reselling the right bits of old clothing, jeans designer as well renovating/restoring older buildings. Finally, he seems to be doing quite well doing 911's for a living - "Magnus Walker’s 1972 Porsche 911 STR II has sold at the annual Pebble Beach auction for $302,500, over double its original estimate of $150,000."
Perfect example of a guy doing what he wants. This is how you build cars... you don't go looking for the approval of others, you just do what you want.
This video came in 2013, before the hundreds of RWB videos that started popping up in the last 5 years. Magnus was ahead of his time, starting in the early 2000's. I bought my first Porsche in 2007, still ahead of the 911 craze. Wish I had scooped up all of those 930s for 25k and G bodies for 5k.
My first experience with a Porsche was in 76 in a 930 turbo as a 9 year old boy. Everything seamed to be at warp speed and I remember the Turbo Lag well! The virus is still there 36 years later.
Hello Magnus John from Australia I used to pull 95-100 ks not miles in 1st gear 140-150 ks in 2 nd gear, 3 third gear was good for 240 ks an hours. I couldn't wide 4th out on any race track straight. ITS AN ANIMAL the gearing is huge it just has long legs. Now it has a Ruf spec 3.4 liter Ruf spec engine approx 450 HP with less than 12 pounds of boost. Its running a 915 5 speed box. On excellaration you can put the boot into it an it just lights up the rear tires mate. The 5 speed has quickered the ratio's up more driveable in the streets. I used to only use 3 rd gear in the street 4 the on the fwy. Now I can use 4 th in the streets and 5 th on the freeway. I am about the take of the KKK-27 turbo that has a KKK-29 turbine wheel in it and go to a Garret roller bearing turbo. I believe she will do 600 HP with the original CIS. Its a super strong motor. I have the most utter respect for you Magnus owning all those turbo's I have owned my turbo for almost 20 years I will never sell it. Greetings from Australia cheers mate.
Damn your eyes Magnus! I have a couple of early cars, a T and an S, and now I seem to want an early Turbo. But in New Zealand right now, the earliest turbos are from 1991, the 964s.
People don't get Magnus. He's into his Porsche's, period. He doesn't compete, he's into the car and has his own world.
I really respect him for that. Do your own thing. Forget the rest.
Well, he did compete before he started collecting.
Of course, but that's not my meaning at all. He's not into whipping out his virtual penis to prove to people he has a better Porsche than you. If he was like this, he'd be driving the newest of the new Porsches and modifying them to 1000 HP. That's not his scene.
I totally agree with you. He's an individual, not a follower. That has to be respected.
I mean the least he can do is keep these cars running after the net loss he created with hot topic and the resulting overweight emo girls with 70 piercings
many would say that high levels of creative productivity aren't possible for the "ego competitive". magnus demonstrates this.
the blue colour with golden wheels is definitely the sexiest!
•BFM Productions• that green one was gorgeous too

One of the truly nicest, most passionate car guys I've ever met. Great to see his collection evolve!
i would happily watch and listen to this guy talk about his Porsche's all day long!
I thank this guy for leaving great cars like this as stock as possible. too many cars these days are being torn to shreds for speed. sometimes you just have to enjoy the ride.
I love his passion for Porsche. Hella cool dude.
The mint green 930 is 👌perfection. I wish I could drive one some day.
I think it's ice green metallic 👍🤤

Those cars are absolutely gorgeous! Thank you for keeping these classic 911s alive.
I don't care about 918s, Ferraris, and Bugattis, if I could ever just have one of these older Porsches and take them down the road.
Just drive.
Blasphemy!!! 918 is immense, i would have that over every other car
+dlhussain81 918 turbo
Shawn Givan that doesn't exist
Worth it just to hear him say "Boost" over and over in his amazing Yankee/Northern English hybrid accent.
wow, he seems like a really awesome guy. his black turbo looks the sexiest!
Yup the '76 Minerva Blue is my favorite but that '77 Ice Green Metallic is close behind
I love his passion for his Porsches, and the vast knowledge. And man he is good at telling it!
Great shooting, guys!
Not naturally a Porsche 911 fan but Magnus has made me have a whole new appreciation for them and this video of the 911 Turbos is amazing and fascinating... Thanks!
Im so jealous of this guy, true story.
Keep being awesome Magnus
XCAR makes the best car films on RUclips right now, hands down. There's an artfulness to them that makes them very compelling. Keep it up!
After all of the years, watching this a bunch of times...still one of your best...
Beautiful. Your living the dream that's for sure. I am 43 and have been a fan since I was very young of the 911. I would love to own one some day.
The mint green turbo is so cool. Saw one first on uk tv in a mini series. Loved it then love it now.
I drove an 930 turbo Targa but with the bigger intercooled Engine and it was insane... when the boost kicks in...all Hell breaks loose. Was one Hell of a Experience.
The Targa turbo!? That is an incredibly rare car - only 193 cars. Congrats!
AlexB Yes, the Targa. its worth a little fortune.
My dad had a 89 targa turbo. Loved that car. Wish he would of kept it.
I own the identical car the silver 3 liter turbo 930. I LOVE IT 1976. My engine is out, I have a 500HP 3.4 liter motor. The 3 liter I still own. Greetings from Australia

wow, i have to say these cars just hypnotized me throughout the vid, so gorgeous.
I like how much this guy love his cars.
Met him in person at Laguna Seca. Made my day by any means.
Would mine too my friend!
Passion is such a wonderful thing! Love it.
Magnus is such a fascinating guy -- great video!
this man has good taste clean subtle tough styling , lowered stance , originality etc
I like how relaxed these recent interviews are. Great job.
I love the character of these 930's. Their imperfections make them that much better.
more vids with Magnus please , I can hear that man talk all day!
listening to him and the cars and the sound, its like meditation...
all fits together
I always enjoy the way xcar puts together their films.
Thank you Xcar crew for doing this video, takes me back to your older videos before the journalist reviews.
Magnus is so good at these videos. He really gets it. Well done again.
Huge respect to this guy he loves what he loves he loves talking about the cars history and his own history and he drives them all most porsche owners keep them in a garage forever but magnus drives his all the time
Thanks Porsche and Magnus too, for all the car's passion.
Love the real feedback on his cars. Good for him.
I'm all in. This guy nails it. He knows his stuff.
Absolute great stuff! Magnus Walker is the man!
cool music / editing makes it really good to watch. thanks!
wow, respect, this guy sure knows what he is talking about
i like this guy's comments on driving.
one man doesn't deserve this many cars when i love them just as much as him...
What a video. Sit back, and enjoy
God, i love the blue one with gold wheels. Gorgeous.
Loved the hole thing. Very inspirational
It's nice to see that Magnus actually drives his cars and doesn't squirrel them away.
Love his attitude.
I love all of your Porsches

At 3am you've ignited a new love in me for old-school porsches.
Thank you XCAR and thank you magnus!
Love the video!! Magnus makes you want to go out and buy a vintage Porsche and go driving.
great collection, gotta love the turbo
Thanks Magnus for sharing. Love the Blue one with golden rims ;-)
This man's voice is very intriguing. Better then the story tellers in most of Porsche's commercials. Porsche, hire him to commentate on your future commercials! By the way, beautiful cars.
Salute for the collection of 911 turbo..
He such an inspirational man! You should see his film!!
Very interesting. I'm not a huge fan of Porsche but listening to an expert talking of his passion is always interesting.
Really great. Want the first turbo too.
My ideal 930 Turbo would from the mid 80's in Guards Red!
Amazing that these cars are older than me, yet still better than many new ones...
Just couldn't get to the end. Got into my JR supercharged Miata and went for a spin. Thank you for reminding me the awesomeness of driving.
Perfect explanation for the 4 speed.
Love it.
I think it's good to keep them stock. It's a reminder of the old days.
this makes me want to go out and buy one now !
l love the green one it looks classic fantastic :)
Just magical. Thanks Xcar

I Love Your Passion for Porsche Mag, U Da Man. Cheers. I'm from Burnaby, British Columbia; Canada.
It's cool that he drives them all and they don't just sit in his garage collecting dust.
Someone to admire!
Love all your turbos.
I thought this was a petrolicious vid for a second. This was an awesome vid
Amazing man... just amazing.
Good God. That ice green Turbo is gorgeous 😍😍

Love the Turbo sound
great video ... guy says "turbo" 48 times in just over 14 minutes .... hes a real enthusiast with passion for what he likes !!
More of Magnus PLEASE!!!!!
Great video
The ice green one is by far the prettiest
"I've put more miles on that in the first 2 weeks of ownership than i think the car's had in the past 5 years"
Awesome!
Magnus is a lucky man .... what a collection.
Damn your eyes Magnus! I have a couple of early cars, a T and an S, and now I seem to want an early Turbo. But in New Zealand right now, the earliest turbos are from 1991, the 964s.
Really great video!
