  • One way, how to paint multiple doors at once! But do not assume, that this is the best way. I used this system before, but, Boy, this didn't work out this time. If you want to hear a short version long, let me know, and I will tell you in the next video.

I like your idea putting a 3 inch screws in the bottom of the door as a standoff.

So what went wrong with this attempt? I couldn’t find the follow up video. I’m planning to paint 12 interior doors this weekend and so far your solution seems to be the most viable. I was going to try it but want to know what I should avoid. Thanks

Nothing was wrong with the setup. I was using a compressor and spray cup to paint. Not enough paint coverage. Should of used airless spray gun. Now days they have hand held compact airless spray guns.
Watch out for windy conditions, so the dropcloth does not pick up the corners and stick to the fresh paint.

Thank you I was planning to do one by one but the graco setup is so much work. What tip are you using considering they are so close to one another?

3/13, or 3/15, meaning 3×2 is about 6 to 7 inch fan, and the second number represents the amount of paint.

I see you prepped the bottom. When you spray, how far does the paint go outside getting on fences etc.

Not to far. I slightly angle the the spray tip towards the bottom.

Are you able to sand and prep them like that, or just spray

Mostly spray. It really depends, how much of preparation is needed. Light sanding is possible.
