first time doing one of your workouts. i have bad feet so am not doing chair workouts. it did hurt my lower back a bit but that is because my core is so weak. i liked the workout and your voice was not irritating. Thank you
I have learned something new: chair workouts will kick you butt just as easily as standing and moving around. I have also learned that my back won't hurt as much because I didn't have my abs checked in. Thank you for this workout! I truly have burned more than enough calories and I will now work on my sodium as the sweat burned my eyes!!!! Love your talks as well!!!!

I broke my foot and cannot bear any weight on my left leg for 8 weeks. I typically run for 30 mins or do the stairmill for 30 mins on top of a 20-50 minute hiit workout 6 days a week. I was depressed about not being able to get in a good cardio workout UNTIL I found this!! Thank you!!

So last year I started working on getting healthier. Eating better and working out. During snowmageddon (jk), I injured my knee. Hopefully nothing serious, but it definitely needs to rest. I was bummed thinking I couldn’t ride my bike this morning. Then I searched chair exercises and found this. I first did a 10 minute version, then I did this one. Friends, these are no joke! I definitely got a work out! Thanks!

I am so happy about this video, I've been gaining some weight as I am also wheelchair-bound and these exercises I was able to move all joints including those that r immovable lol, my whole body was able to experience the burn, and I sweat a whole lot, definitely using this video as a way to exercise daily. I just wanted to drop a line to say thank you for these workouts! I just had a massive knee surgery. ACL/MCL/double menicus plus a fracture and a few other partial tears and strains. Your chair workouts have helped keep me sane and moving both waiting for my surgery date and now helping my post-op recovery and rehab. Thank you Donovan.
This is great! And, I'm glad you don't have loud, obnoxious music in the background! I thought I could only workout in the water because of my knees and weight; but, you've renewed my hope in exercise again--except for that "plank". Maybe I'll try that 20 lbs from now. 😉
I've done a few chair workouts, two by you and I must say that calling this a beginner workout is a bit misleading. This workout is no joke! I had to go to sitting because I felt a twinge in my knee with my regular workouts and decided to try chair workouts. These are great and misunderstood. Before I retired I had a sitting job that wasn't kind to my back, but since I've started doing sitting workouts my core is much stronger, and my back feels so much better. Thanks!
This made me really happy! I have an ankle injury, did this after some weight training and one of your 10 minute videos, and yes, my heart rate got up a bit! (I modified at the end, with knee planks and bird dogs to keep weight off the ankle.) I am so relieved to have found your channel. Thank you!!

This was the first DG workout with music I've tried and I love it. I am used to working out with music and I was pleasantly surprised that this cardio workout included music. I will be using this one often!

Weekends at my house include 9 of us waking at all times , inhabiting all rooms. I appreciate that when I want to get it in, sweat and feel sore, I can jump into one of your workouts, feel completely like I did a full session in my home gym, without leaving my bedroom! Thank you for your channel!
I’ve been doing the 10 minute cardio for about 10 Days now and everyday I can feel myself able to do a little more! I switched it up to the 20 minute one today and I’m dead! It was so good! Alrighty... so I was in decent shape before I became ill, (turns out I have rheumatoid Arthritis.. just in time for my 30th birthday), I was exercising 5 days a week for about an hour at a time and I was also very on top of my diet trying to "fuel" my workouts. After I became ill, I also ended up injuring my knee and needed a full Meniscectomy ( injured it getting out of a chair...) . Here I am a few months later comparing my current fitness level to what it was almost a year ago. It's been difficult trying to find seated workouts that actually get my heart rate up whilst also accommodating my new limitations. This workout video is exactly what I needed to get my heart pumping, while also being easy on my rheumatic joints. Mr. Donovan Green, you have yourself a new subscriber. Thank you. 🤘

Wow, what an amazing workout. I became a permanent wheelchair user about 5 years ago after over 30 years of being very active, I started to pile on weight and gave up. Then a friend told me about chair workouts so I decided to have a look and found your videos. I was skeptical at first but now I am a convert, I really feel like I have done a proper workout whilst being seated. I love the constant motivation and encouragement, I can't wait to try the other videos. Great job.
Do you do the exercises from your wheelchair or transfer to another steadier and sturdier chair? My 80 year old mother is in a wheelchair and I want to show these to her.

Me too. I am currently suffering from POTS since May of this year and I am starting try to exercise but it has to be supine or seated so I’m so thankful for these workouts.
Dang this one got me!! 31w pregnant with Achilles tendonitis. I’ve been doing your chair workouts for three days now since I can no longer do my normal daily cardio. I became injured via working out too hard a couple of weeks ago and have been told it will be WEEKS till I can get back to normal workout so I have been so depressed and feeling like I am losing all I worked hard to get (tone and muscle) and feel I am getting fat. I have tried many yt videos with little results but I felt this one. Love his analogizes (really helped me envision the move )and genuine motivation (not that phony come on you can do it crap). will be doing one of his videos daily for sure!
Day 3 Mr. Donovan!! I have sat through the entire pandemic gained 20 lbs on top of what I already had to lose. Decided to do SOMETHING ANYTHING. Found your videos and decided i could do a 20 minute video seated. It was a great work out! Got to move... got to sweat and got to burn the way I like my salsa!! Spicy with a kick! Love this! Love your philosophies and encouragement. Especially your warning about the ego and pushing it too far. And your motto, your body is just a body until you make it a temple. This is so helpful for me to hear multiple times from you now. I have been frustrated and angry with my body this past year, that it let me down, that I can’t run, can’t even walk for fitness. I went on a pity party for months, came back stronger and tried to run again, only to experience more problems in my foot. I feel like I’m turning a corner mentally and your approach is so helpful for moving forward! Thank you!
