I'm sadly so excited for this, I clicked straight on it. I'm on week 7 still on 2.5 and lost 16.5 lbs. You are exactly the same as me, jab day tomorrow was quite hungry but had ham and tom roll yogurt & chicken Kiev new pots peas. I'm very happy, slow and steady that's how I like it with no side effects ❤

If anyone is thinking of taking MJ go for it.
Iv been taking it two years and have lost 40kg which is over 6 stone.
I feel great I don’t take medication for arthritis any more.
At first I had heartburn and headaches but that goes over time.
I take 12.5mg but I take it every 9/10 days now Iv hit my target weight of
    9 stone 4lbs
Over time you just don’t need or want lots of food or chocolate.
    I eat once a day around 3pm
So take a chance and try it.
    Helen you look fab.

Amazing results. I'm starting week 10 and 24.4lbs down, I am probably going to stay on 5mg as the appetite suppression is still very strong for me and I am scared if I move up I will struggle to eat anything. I think I might be what another RUclipsr has called a hyper responder and I certainly don't have the big hunger people report on days 5-7. I do get the sulphur burps when I am either overstuffed or haven't eaten anything but electrolytes help with them and my only real side effect has been FATIGUE and I feel like I don't ever have enough sleep. Yes do more updates if you have time, always interesting to see how others are going through week by week ❤ Wishing you continued success

You look fab ❤ i think your doing it very sensibly helen. Im 4 foot 10, 53 years old. Had cancer 2 years ago i was 5 stone for a long time. Its took 2 years to get to 7 and a halfbstone and i now look healthy. Before i was sickm due to age menapause i was 8 stones which was very heavy for me. Like you said people dont understand how small we are so when you say i need to lose a couple of pounds im 8 stone they think we are crazy. 7 and half stone suits me, i dont want to put anymore weight on, but like i said its been a struggle to put weight on with recovering from cancer xx

You're looking lovely Helen.. Well done.. I'm on day 5 of my MJ and going really well.. I'm 56 and found my mood has brightened straight away, I had really low mood and it's usual for me to suffer with SAD over the winter.. But, I feel great.. I too felt the food noise starting on day 4 so looking forward to my 2nd jab. ❤ Julie

I get SAD too and noticed that my mood has been much better this year, like noticeably better and my whole outlook seems improved more than can just be attributed to feeling happy with weightloss. I'm 55 and genuinely feeling better that I have in years and more "myself" if that makes sense, like I have come back into the old me.

Been waiting for this update as your weight loss story/ history is so identical to mine I’m only 5foot so another shorty 😂 I’m on week 7 and it’s going well. Hoping to lose a stone by week 8. Slow and steady but that’s fine with me too. I have titrated up to 5mg as sadly 2.5 I felt nothing after the first couple of days each week so was picking again. I’ve had no symptoms at all at 5mg but suits me better appetite wise. I just get hungry the last couple of days before next dose. Well done on your weight loss. It feels great to stop the up n down loss/gain and just see the scales go down consistently doesn’t it. Please do more if you feel able. I love sharing your journey xx

Congrats you’re looking great. Totally see the difference. I started MJ in June this year and have lost 7 stones (for those who work with different units it’s
98lbs or 44KG). It has totally changed my life. Having battled with my weight for years and tried every diet out there. This is more than a weight loss medication, I feel like it changes the wiring in your head when it comes to food. I don’t feel guilty if I’m invited out for dinner. I’ll have whatever I want to have but now it’s much less than it would have been before and it doesn’t bother me one bit. It’s the strangest thing. Inflammation for me is also a lot lower, my mood is so so much better. The only thing I’d say is, I do feel fatigued, but it’s totally manageable. You’re smart for staying on the 2.5mg. There’s no point in moving up a dose if you are still seeing losses as well as the other benefits. I think most providers make out that you have to move up every 4 weeks and that’s not the case at all. Seriously, anyone reading this who is unsure about starting, probably as a result of the scare mongering by the media, is say 100% go for it. This drug to me is the miracle I’ve been waiting for my entire life. Happy to answer any questions. ✌🏻

My GP maybe prescribing me this but for my diabetes, she just wants me to have an up to date eye screening test first. My sugars are high despite being on meds for it. I'm seeing a specialist after Christmas after having 3 appointments cancelled. So I'm interested in your findings and thoughts on it. I've been told that I could only be on it for 2 years so I 'm not sure if it's worth trying it. I did try Ozempic at the beginning of the year but couldn't continue due to national shortages. I'm only petite as well so any weight really shows, Good luck with it. Enjoy the festive season with your little girl it will be lovely for you all . ❤❤

I have just finished my first 4 weeks and lost 13lb but seriously suffering with constipation every week, not sure if this will eventually subside? Having to take laxertives weekly which is not nice. Foolishly I didn’t change my new medication and gone up to 5mg and I should have stuck to 2.5mg. Only been on 5mg a few days and had a few issues with low blood pressure and getting up to fast then feeling faint hoping I pass this stage to? As well as stopping food craving it has also stopped my appetite for alcohol and fizzy drinks so all is going well in that front. Well done to you you have done great!

I'm on week 7 and I've only lost 6lb but last week on 5mg I've gained 1.5lbs, this also happened when I was on 2.5mg so in total I've only lost 4lb. I just don't know what is happening, saying that I had spinal surgery last week so I don't no if the anaesthetic has anything to do with it. I'm also bloated, bad burps, passing wind a lot and constipated which im taking senna and lactose for it. HELP 😨

Take care of the constipation issue and you're probably retaining fluid. Just hang in there, eat your protein and veggies and try magnesium citrate for your issues.

I need some advice please from you or any of your subscribers.
I have been on Mounjaro for two weeks now I just injected the third dose today Wednesday 4th.
I inject into my stomach I find that easiest, last week I had a mishap the needle bent and caused bad bruising but the thing I need some advice on is the bruises I am getting each time I inject myself and I don’t know if anyone else is experiencing this.
Any advice from anyone suffering with this would be helpful because it’s taking over two weeks for the bruises to go although it’s not like I’m running out of space 😂

    • @maxallen-macdonald8791
      @maxallen-macdonald8791 6 дней назад

I have to take vitamin K for the bruising along with a multi-vitamin. The digestive slowdown is how the medication works so speak with your provider about it and hopefully you can switch to magnesium citrate and other bowel medications instead of laxatives.
