Hi there and thankyou so much for watching and commenting. You are off to an amazing start - well done 🤗♥️ Look forward to hearing your progress ♥️♥️♥️
If UK google Mounjaro, many online pharmacies do it but most are 'powered' by the same doctor service 'Zava' So I just went with the cheapest (Asda Online). I get my first dose tomoz :D Cost varies, my first 4 doses were £160 with a voucher.
If it’s any help my headaches have now stopped. I have very few side effects so keep on going. Congratulations on starting your journey. I post every day about my journey so here is my playlist if you are interested. I have daily vlogs plus weekly and monthly updates. Hope to see you again soon. I have been on wegovy for over 4 months now and I absolutely love it. I am titrating up very slowly, am now on 0.75mg ( started at 0.25mgand I have lost 25lbs. I have a lot to lose but it is coming off very nicely and I do not seem to have any side effects now. Good luck!
That’s a fantastic loss. So pleased your journey is going smoothly ♥️. It makes such a difference not having the side effects. Wishing you continued success on your journey. Appreciate you stopping by and taking the time to comment xxx ♥️

As a 50 year old UK male who’s worried about his high BMI, I’ve now committed to Mounjaro. Two days in, all good so far. Aside from a restless night’s sleep on day one, no other side effects to report. Drinking as much water and electrolytes possible, as hunger and craving has reduced so much, even only after two days. Well done on your success so far, hopefully mine will go the same way.
One week to go, down 5.6kgs. Best thing about loss of weight? When I do my 6am morning walk the first thing I encounter is a hilly road. Normally I’d be struggling due to tiredness and heavy stomach - now, it’s just the tiredness..! Still a long way to go, but happy with the results so far.
Hello very happy with your results... I'm 32yrs female feeding mother, I gained so much of weight after delivery can I use mounjaro for weight loss I'm from India weight is 99kgs
That's brilliant 10lbs in 3 weeks!!!!! I'm 2 weeks tomorrow and 6lbs down. It gives us foodies so much mental freedom, we're not constantly battling with food. I'm a similar weight to you I was 13 5 this morning. Nothings easy but this medication really helps. I'm looking forward to seeing what I am in 6 months from now Xx Ive had 2 weight loss surgeries a bypass in 2010 and a band in 2021 but my band has been removed (it was horrible) I'm 148 lbs lighter today than at my start weight in 2009, it will always be a battle but the battles easier now 💘🌷💐💓
Well done sweetie on your first 2 weeks and fantastic loss so far. It sounds like you have had quite a journey up to now. I’m so glad you’ve discovered Mounjaro … I honestly believe it’s truly life changing. Keep me updated with your weightloss … I love hearing how everyone is getting on. Thankyou for taking the time to watch my video and also for commenting and sharing your story 🥰 You’ve got this my love xxx♥️
I am on week 8 heading into week 9. I was so happy when I weighed myself and I had lost 21 lbs. I was 191lbs to start and now I’m 170lbs. I have experienced the cold chills, same as you. I also have noticed that day 2&3 after my shots are the days that I have more side effects than any other. I have noticed that hypoglycemia is something I have to watch out for! I will go through the day, and because I’m not hungry, I don’t eat. I don’t even think about food! I do need to be careful tho because I’ve had 2 bouts with hypoglycemia that were a bit scary. Other than that, I love my Mounjaro! Good luck to you on your journey! I’ve subscribed so I’ll be keeping up with you as we started at the same time! I’m in the USA! (Texas)
Hi there …. Big waves across the pond 👋👋👋 It’s so easy to forget to eat isn’t it. I’m much better these days but I can certainly forget to eat at times. Thankyou so much for subscribing, I really appreciate it. Good luck for this week. Keep me updated with your progress, you are doing so well xxx♥️
Hi from Spain! Mounjaro entered the market here last Monday and I had my first shot on Tuesday. Thank you for the detailed explanation of how each week went. Knowing that you felt just normal the first few days helped, I was worried Ive done something wrong as Im not having any side effects and I am still feeling quite hungry and having a lot of food noise, specially in the evening... Gonna stick to it and hope I am moving forward and seeing results by the end of the week!
Hello there and welcome!!!! That’s really exciting for everyone in Spain … it’s such an amazing drug. Thankyou for watching. I’m really pleased my video is helpful. Do stick with it. It really does work even when you think it isn’t. I hope you have a great first week. Do let me know how you get on each week ♥️♥️
Hi. I am in Almeria. Started this week. (271 euro ouch). I am also still looking for food but I'm down 2kg this week. I lost 20 last year without meds and have kept it off so I'm really hoping the food noise goes away. My weirdest side effect was that on day 2 I felt like I had been hit by a bus! Aching muscles all over but that's gone thankfully! Let's see what the next 3 weeks bring.
@@feestor5660 Hi from Asturias!! Did you know some people in Spain have been prescribed the 5mg pen and are splitting the dose in half by counting the clicks from 0 to 1? 5mg pen has the same cost so basically 271€ for 2 months instead if 1 😱 I have taken my 4th dose this week and plan on using the 5th dose in the pen too. After that, depending on results, I may go up 5mg or stick to 2.5mg for now. Congrats on the 2kgs!! ❤️
I have my 3rd injection of 2.5mg tonight...day 14 starts tomorrow morning. Down 8lb. It has helped me get back to intermittent (which I absolutely love doing). Great to have a UK vlog, thank you.
Hi lovely …. How is your journey going? So sorry that I am late replying. You have had a great start. Glad it’s working well for you have a beautiful day xxx
Hi Marcia, From the bottom of my heart, thank you for doing this video. I’m just starting on my Mounjaro journey, having ended up massively overweight (8 stone over to be precise). I was feeling down about doing it and questioning myself, but this has helped a lot. I was getting low before starting it, and was having a massive internal argument, due to the negative comments I’ve heard, but you’ve helped me realise a few things in the course of the video. Until a few years ago I was really fit, competing in triathlons, etc., but then I was diagnosed with six growths on my lungs. Fast forward four years and due to a combination of medicational steroids, inactivity and comfort eating I’ve found myself in a dark spot mentally, spiralling between bouts of attempting to train and getting frustrated at not losing the weight and comfort eating, resulting in a very unhealthy weight and state of mind. I did my first jab yesterday and was feeling really down today, but your positivity in this video has helped me get my head around it all, and if medication and inactivity put me here, then perhaps using medication to help get me out isn’t cheating at all, despite what others might say. So thank you!
Hi Colin. My first injection was yesterday and I like you have struggled for years and feeling apprehensive about it all. I’m so glad I’ve found this video this morning it has helped immensely so thank you Marcia 😊
What a hard time you have. It is so hard when you don’t recognise yourself anymore. The good thing is here you are fighting for your health and happiness. Remember to be kind to yourself. It is so easy to be self critical and spiral into negative feelings. Focus on the positives and surround yourself with that instead. So many people are here to help support you on your journey. I truly appreciate you taking the time to comment …. I am happy I could help in just a small way. Good luck on your journey …. You’ve made the hardest step by starting ♥️
I took my first shot last night! I've tried wegovy earlier this year and had great success on the lowest dose with minimal side effects. However, after 8 weeks the effect of would wear off so I went to 0.5. Unfortunately, the side effects increased dramatically and because I was already quite happy with my weight loss I decided to stop taking it and put my energy into healthy eating and muscle gain. Then life happened - a rough break up and a stressful job with four weeks of travel and I was back to my old habits. :( I gained everything back (but nothing more. I cannot confirm that my hunger had increased compared to before taking the GLP 1- for those who are worried). Now decided to try Mounjaro and I'm beyond excited. It's the morning after the first shot and there's no comparison to how I would feel after Wegovy. I have a very mild headache but that's it. Sleep was great and I feel very energized. Fingers crossed!
Hi and welcome …. I am wishing you every success on mounjaro. I hope you are fine on this … I’m sure you will be. Keep me updated with your progress. Sorry to hear about your life events xx So lovely to have you here xx♥️
I was the same way. Took Semaglutide for about 10months and lost over 15lbs but it stopped working for me. It was too expensive to keep paying for it when it wasn’t working. I gained half of it back 🙁 starting Tirzepatide this week. Hoping for good results. I am going to start a diary to write down everything.
Thank you for sharing this detailed video, today I start Oxempic and I have seen nothing but horror stories lol as in bad side effects. I feel now I'm ready to start my journey after watching this. I'm originally from the UK but moved to America recently. Congratulations on your journey amazing! I've subscribed to your channel.❤
Hi hun - so sorry for being very late in replying to you. I’m glad you’ve started your journey - how is it going? Also hope you’ve settle into your new home (and country) Good luck and Thankyou so much for subscribing 🥰♥️
Thank you for doing these vlogs. I feel like I have a friend who has gone before me and can reassure me on my Mj journey. i did my first injection last night!!

I'm so thrilled with your results! I wonder if you will hit a plateau at any time with this medication. 🤔 if you do, DO NOT get discouraged!!! Your body is making changes you can't see yet! Love you, sweetie! ❤❤❤
Hi hun … yes this a very real possibility but I’m feeling good right now and it’s going great. I’ll be back in the gym from tomorrow. I’ve had a couple of very low calorie days just from not having any appetite but I feel fairly certain I’ll be back to eating more tomorrow 🙏🏻 Take care hun ♥️♥️
Hey there - woohoo good luck sweetie. Congratulations on starting your journey. Thankyou for watching and commenting, really lovely of you. Please keep me up to date with your progress. Good luck!! Xx
HI how lovely you are im in the UK too I've been on mounjaro for 11 weeks I'm loving it I'm a RN too I've lost 18lbs I'm a type 2 diabetic ands it's done wonders for my A1C on 5mg and hope to stay on 5mg for as long as possible lovely to see your enthusiasm. Subscribed
Hi there. So happy to have you join me on my journey and to share yours with me. Well done on your weight loss so far … that’s so good? You must be thrilled. Have a great week. Thankyou for subscribing ♥️
The metallic taste is likely your body going into ketosis. Ketosis is a metabolic state where your body shifts its primary fuel source from glucose (sugar) to fat. Normally, carbs are broken down into glucose, the preferred energy source for most cells. But when you drastically reduce carbs, your glucose stores become depleted. This triggers the liver to produce ketones from stored fat. These ketones then become the alternative fuel for many parts of your body.
Hi all. I’m on Saxenda for 11 weeks and I’m 14kg down!! I’m 50 years old 178cm and had a starting weight of 95kg. My goal weight is 75kg so only 6kg to go. Feeling so good and living slipping back into old clothes I haven’t fit into for years.
Hi!! It’s so exciting isn’t it. I’m so pleased you have watched my video and taken the time to comment - Thankyou. Good luck with your journey. It’s an incredible drug xxx
I subscribed as soon as you spoke, I love your energy and honesty 👍 I’m also in the UK 🇬🇧 I started Mounjaro last Sunday and will inject every Sunday evening, just so it’s easier to remember my days and times to be the same every week. I had my 2nd dose tonight and so far no side affects 🤞 I don’t feel any difference of being fuller quicker, but I have noticed that my cravings have stopped at least 90%. So this is amazing, I haven’t broken my diet at all and usually I’m craving and beating myself up as soon as I start a diet. But this time I’m feeling calm, this must be the Mounjaro? I’m a Carb freak, really Carbs Carbs Carbs so any ideas of what I can do to avoid the carbs in meals. I’ve never been a calorie counter at all, so this is all very daunting for me. I’m looking forward to watching all your videos’s. My HBA1C was 85 😢 so I’m praying my sugar level drops, I’m Type 2 Diabetic and my practice nurse prescribed Mounjaro to have alongside my Metformin. I need to lose many Stones in weight 😢😢 🧡💚.
Hello there my love and welcome!!! Really pleased your diabetic nurse has prescribed this for you, I’m sure you will see a dramatic improvement to your HbA1c … plus your weight too. Aw I love carbs too but hardly have any now and my snacking has stopped altogether. I’m sure you are going to get the results to want and need. Do keep me updated with your progress xxx♥️
Your video is awesome. I’m starting ozempic next week and I’ve watched SO many videos. I have to say I enjoyed yours the most. I love how informative it is and your energy is awesome.
Hi there …. Thankyou so much for your kind words. Honestly means so very much. I’m glad you enjoyed it. Good luck for next week. Make sure you pop back and let me know how you are getting on xx♥️
Started today. Have struggled all my life keeping it off. I lost 9st three years ago on 1:1 / Cambridge, but hoping that this can be a tool to help manage and train better eating habits. It’s encouraging to hear your story 👍
Hi from Canada! So nice to find a video of someone more my age 😊 using a GLP1 medication. I started Wegovy a few weeks ago. I completely related to your story of being anxious doing the first injection! Definitely not as bad as I thought it would be. Down 8.8 lbs at the time of my 3rd shot. My side effects haven’t been too bad. Pretty much the same as yours. I’m taking probiotics to help with getting backed up 😉 and adding electrolytes to my water occasionally which helps with dryness. Love your energy!
Hi there and welcome!!!!! So lovely to have you here ♥️ You have a great weightloss so far - congratulations. You must be so happy with it 🤗. Hope to see you back again. Keep me up to date with your progress xxx♥️
Best of luck to you! I am also taking Tirzepatide from Swisschems, and I have recently started as well. I have noticed that I feel more satiated and do not have as much of an appetite to overeat.
Thankyou so much ♥️ It’s an incredible drug isn’t it. I no longer think about food. Good luck on your journey. Please keep in touch with your progress xx♥️
Thanks for this video, Marcia. Am just about to start my own journey on Mounjaro with Juniper. Am slightly nervous as it’s a new regime and self-injecting - so that’s new to me. But I expect I’ll be fine with it. I’m 52 and have really struggled to lose the weight, particularly since becoming perimenopausal in my mid-forties. Am hoping this will help with losing the extra KGs. Like you, I also just want to get back to my best weight so I can fit into my old clothes.
Good luck!!!! I promise it will be so much easier than you think. The injections are really easy. It’s so hard when the perimenopause hits. I know exactly how you feel. Good luck hunny. Let me know how you get on xxxx♥️
I signed up with Juniper today. 50, and gained weight in the last year. How is it working for you? What brand did they send you? I went to 2 different doctors hoping they could give me some but they both just told me that my weight is fine and not to worry. That didn’t help at all.
Thank you for a very informative vlog and I'm glad the injections are working for you.Your weight loss is fantastic and thankyou for being so honest about the pros and cons.I wish you all the best for your 2nd month.xx.
Thankyou so much. Going to show my full journey so that it shows a true account. I have no idea what the next month will bring but hoping for a good one xx
Awwww that’s what weight I am now - 13,12.5 :) 🎉 What height are you love?? I am 29.4 on my bmi… I am 5,8 Wow this is so bloody exciting!!!!! To not feel like eating… or crave things….that’s all I want! Wow - I Can’t wait to follow your progress xxx
Hi hunny (your comments have been held for review, sorry I’m late replying). I’m 5 foot 5 …. Bit of a short arse lol. It’s absolutely mental, never realised how much I thought about did until it stopped. Thankyou my love for watching xxx
Hi I’m thinking of starting mounjaro. I’m not diabetic. I wanted to know if it’s good for weight loss. Heard some side effects such as hair loss, stain stool. I weight abt 96kg. Diets and gym never worked for me. You look so happy and absolutely beautiful. From UK
Hi there. Yes it is incredible for weight loss. GLP-1s are licensed for weightloss in the uk if you meet the eligibility criteria. There’s lots of research available online about the benefits. I have had minimal side effects - no hair loss or stain stool. Gastric side effects are the most common side effects experienced but these can very from extremely mild to more severe. I would suggest reading up lots first of all and if you decide you want to try it then only get it from a registered pharmacy. Do not by from a salon, WhatsApp, tiktok etc. good luck and Thankyou for watching.
Good morning and welcome!!! It’s so great to have you here. Brilliant loss, well done. What dose are you on at the moment. Hope you are having a good journey xxx
Hello and welcome!! It’s so strange isn’t it. I was convinced I’d have something dreadful almost immediately lol. Congratulations on starting your journey. It’s honestly amazing!!! Let me know how you get on, I’d love to hear your progress. If there are any terms I use that you don’t understand just ask Xxx♥️
Hi there and welcome!!!! That’s great news that you are having a positive journey so far. Glad you found me. Feel free to check out my daily vlogs …. Lots of lovely people in the comments too that you can share experiences with 🥰♥️ Hope to see you back again soon Good luck xxx
So glad i found you❤ i too am a uk granny :) Gave myself mounjaro at 8am yesterday. Slight headaches and nausea, tummy discomfort. Chinese meal on the evening filled me quicker than usual😊 haha i ate all the chicken though Off for the Aldi shakes. Am thinking walnuts are easy cals to pop in my yogurt 🤔
Hi there darling … lovely to have you here 🥰♥️ How is your first week going now? Sorry I’m a bit late replying - been a a hectic weekend. Hope side effects are settling. Keep me updated. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment🥰🥰♥️
Hello from the US! 👋 Thank you for sharing your journey! I'm struggling with menopausal weight gain and trying to figure out the best way to get it off. I appreciate your openness with this.
Job there and welcome. The weight gain is so troublesome isn’t it and so very difficult to shift. Perimenopause really changes so much. I wish you good luck on your weightloss journey whatever path you choose xxx
I'm so glad that you are making (for want of a better word) yourself have something to eat even when you feel stuffed. I know it's hard to do, but it's best in the long run. I always make myself eat something when I'm poorly - even if it's just a small bowl of plain boiled rice as it was when I was visited by the Noro Fairy once (and that is definitely something I'd rather never happens again!), because even though I was being so sick some part of me knew that at least that way I'd have something to be sick with if nothing else, if that makes sense. I'm wondering with your headaches as well as needing to hydrate more, do you remember the Suger Free Farm program a few years back? Quite a few of the "celebrities" on that were suffering really badly from not having any sugar at all, not even fruit, so maybe it's connected and once your body fully adjusts to your new sugar intake the headaches will go away? One of the main reasons this method is not the one for me is injections - I have a hard enough time being a big girl (pun intended) at the Dr's nevermind having to do it to myself, but if it puts you off your tea then that's a deal breaker for me 😉 I'm sure my blood type is T 🤣 I'd like to know though, is this a forever thing? I mean, do you have to stay on one strength or another for good to maintain, or once you get to your ideal weight can you dip in and out as you need a "top up"? I wonder, if your feeling cold could that be to do with not eating much now? Given Mother Nature has forgotten to turn the heating on this year, I'm often pulling on a fleece as the evening starts, but by the time I've had my dinner I'm nicely warmed up and off it comes. Also, would making your own ice lollies with just squash or juice and water be an idea to help with the metallic taste? It might be something that wouldn't add to your full up feeling but could take that taste away for a while. I'm so glad though that you have had minimal side effects and that this is making you so happy! xx
@@janinemonks7518 hi there and good luck. I have daily vlogs where l share everything I eat. This is the playlist ruclips.net/p/PLBU9x5FAnuPNRjmhRFxQXKC3r18nlZKjc&si=MELNDJBIyYM6nNZU Xx♥️
Someone in the UK! 👋 So great to hear your experience so far, i started last night and im really excited! Even more so now after listening, and i brought a diary to log it all too that's a good idea! Will be exciting to watch more of your recent videos and see how it's going! Wish me luck! 💪
Hi hun …. Welcome!!!! Congratulations on starting your journey …. It’s so exciting isn’t it. I wish you every success my love. I’m now in week 11 and loving it. I have a couple of playlists that would be good to check out … I have daily vlogs and also my weekly/monthly updates. Would love you to keep my updated with your progress ♥️xxxx
@ladymawa thank you! I'll definitely check them out 😊 day 1 has gone pretty good! Can't believe the hunger levels or lack of I should say, well done for all your progress 👏🔥
Lovely to come across your videos so happy thay you have had great results i started on the injection last week and today is my 2nd injection and im 4lbs down in one week which im super excited about, same as you not really had side effects but i did have the feeling of nausea for the first few days and not feeling hungry at all
Hi there lovely - so nice to have you here. Well done on your first week … sounds like you are loving it too. It’s a complete game changer. I have quite a few videos up now so feel free to have a look through those if you fancy. Let me know how week 2 goes for you xxx♥️
Im the same as you, I ordered when on holiday in Lanzarote a couple of days ago and I am about to inject my first dose but Im soooooo scared, Ive subscribed to your channel as it so lovely to hear your journey
Hi hunny. It’s normal to feel a bit anxious but once you’ve done it you will realise it’s so easy. Good luck my darling …. Let us all know how you get on. Thankyou for subscribing xxx
Hello, Congratulations on your loss! I’m from California USA. 🏖️ It’s nice that your pen has 4 doses. Our pens only have one so we get four pens for the month. I’m on 2.5 mg now.
Hello and welcome 🤗 I love to hear where everyone is from. Glad you have joined me 🥰♥️ I hope you are having a good journey so far. I think there are pros and cons for the single use and multi use pens. Mine is good from less plastic etc but a single pen would be so handy for travel. I hope to see you back again soon. Have a beautiful weekend ♥️
Hi just came across your channel as I started the injections yesterday the 2nd of August, today I don’t feel anything! No decrease in appetite or hunger. Hoping by tomorrow something kicks in. I live in the UK by the way. Keep up with the videos, finding them really useful and inspiring x
Hi hunny, congratulations on starting your journey. Don’t worry too much if you don’t notice anything straight away … it can take a bit of time. 2.5mg is just a loading dose to get the body used to the drug in an after to minimise future side effects on higher doses. I’m certain you will start to notice it very soon. I certainly felt the effects on 2.5mg but not in the first few days. Trust the process, there’s a long way to go. Glad you are enjoying my vlogs xxxx♥️
I'm starting tomorrow, my BMI is 33.7. You video is so useful. I'm a bit worried as I get migraines but shall see if this causes them. I'm going away to an all-inclusive hotel in Jan. Don't think I'm going to get my monies worth. My doctor said to cut down on protein shakes/ powder and protein bars. Said I have to get my protein from natural sources. He suggested an elerolite drink to help with headaches etc. Can't wait for my first weigh in. Bit concerned about doing exercise as I have arthritis in knees and feet. Will have to stick to just short walks with the dogs. Good luck
Good luck sweetie for tomorrow. Drink plenty especially in the first couple of weeks. You may find that your arthritis pain improves whilst you are on mounjaro - it helps reduce inflammation so I really hope it helps you. Ha yes …. All inclusive holidays are not the same on Mounjaro …. I know this from my own experience🤣🤣 Keep in touch xxx
Morning. I started almost 2 weeks ago, having lost 7 pounds on Fast 800 prior to starting. Was away on holiday for 10 days and came back 1/4 pound lighter (so long as I was the same I was happy), down again this morning (daily weighed here). More importantly my blood sugars have dropped to pretty much normal levels. I’m currently edging my Lantus down and have got to 18U from 34U in 4 weeks. I must add I have had type 2 diabetes for 32 years since I was 26 and have struggled on and off since then to maintain control with diet, exercise, most meds available. This feels like a major game changer and I am hopeful for a normal HbA1c next check. I will continue on Fast 800 until October then continue my low carb diet supported by Mountjaro 🎉
Hi there. This is fantastic to hear and will be truly life changing for you. If you can reverse your diabetes it would be remarkable, especially after trying so many medications. Great news about your insulin coming down in dose. Imagine if you can eventually be off it completely. Keeping my fingers crossed for you so tightly. Your HbA1c are going to be so much better and the risks associated with your diabetes will be reducing all the time. Keep up the great work xxx🥰♥️🫶🏻
Love your videos. Thanks for going into detail. You should apply to monetise your channel. You’ve definitely got the metrics to apply for it and you deserve it
Good luck!! That’s so amazing that you are doing this for your health and happiness. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done. Feel free to check out my other video. I upload every single day 🥰♥️ I hope you have a wonderful week xxx
Hi there …. Great to know where you are from. I imagine it’s really hot there. I thought lbs would be much easier. Most of the videos I watch about glp1 are from American RUclipsrs. It will also help me understand lbs if I refer to them a bit more often. I appreciate you taking the time to watch my video and also to comment. Have a lovely day ♥️xx
Interesting. I can see that common sense is really needed. Otherwise you could be eating far less than you should. Easy to be deficient in nutrition and vitamins. The injections would train you to be used to eating less so I can see this really helping a lot of people. People would really need to focus on nutrition.
Absolutely. I’m also taking multi vitamins now alongside my food each day. I think it probably takes a little while for everything to settle down and get doses right etc. The drug works in many ways, it’s really quite incredible xx
Hi, cotton mouth or a dry mouth is a nuisance because drinking water doesn't really help so although I do make sure I am drinking plenty of water, I find (sugar free) chewing gum is the absolute best thing for that. I just wanted to let you know. And also to say you are such a ray of sunshine such a positive outlook you really brightened my day, I love your video and have decided to subscribe. Thanks for your video. Congratulations on your great health and weight loss. All the best from a Lancashire lass living in mid Wales.
@@judiejackson4312 hi there 🤗 oh Thankyou so much …. That’s really nice of you my love. Thrilled to have you here🤗♥️ Thanks for the tip, I’ll give it a a go. Currently not too bad but I’ll keep some gum in for such occasions. Thankyou for subscribing, it honestly means a lot to me ♥️xxx
Hi thanks for the video. I just want to comment on this drug and my experience of it. I am 5 foot 5 female aged 47 and my weight 7 weeks ago was 14 stone. I decided to take mounjaro because I am going through perimenopause and found my weight creeping up over the past few years. My diet generally consisted of 3 meals quite big portions with a few snacks and a bar of chocolate daily. Plus wine or lager a few times a week. I started taking the 2.5 dose and my appetite just went. I could eat but felt as if I had had a gastric band fitted. Very full straight away. A little nausea the day after I injected but nothing major. On taking the next dose of 5mg I found I felt nauseous more than one day, more like 3 days sometimes it was like morning sickness but it wears off. My appetite is non existent but I know I have to eat for my vital organs to stay healthy. My portion sizes are tiny. I can eat a small bowl of cereal for breakfast, half a sandwich at lunch and a small plate of food for evening meal. No snacks plenty of water and I’ve lost exactly 1 stone in 7 weeks. It’s such an amazing drug for someone with not a lot of willpower to snack. My goal is 2 more stone. I talked to my prescriber about nausea and they said if I’m losing weight and happy to stay on 5mg instead of going higher then I can. For someone struggling with weight problems I would definitely reccomend it, it really stops cravings for alcohol too 😊
Hi hunny. Thankyou for sharing your experience. Very sensible not moving up doses with your side effects. If you are still nauseous please have another chat with your provider - they can prescribe anti emetics for you. I think if your nausea and lack of appetite continues it could be worth considering moving back down to 2.5mg. You may be very sensitive to mounjaro. Good luck sweetie xxx
Thank you so much. I can’t wait to hear how you get on … please do share your progress. Congratulations on starting your journey…. It’s life changing xxx❤️
Thank you for UK vlog. I have nust placed my order for the first Mounjaro. I have been struggling to loose weight despite watching what I eat and increasing my exercise. Having young kids but desk job leaves very little time and energy. I feel almost embarrassed that I am turning to meds but at this point I feel like it's my last resort.
Bless you. It’s so hard to lose weight even when you do everything right. Don’t feel embarrassed. Mounjaro is an incredible tool. I have just started week 23 so please do check out my videos. I post every single day and have a beautiful supportive community that is growing day by day. I wish you every success. Please do keep me updated with how your journey is going xxx
Hello! What an entertaining and lovely chat 😊. May I ask which of the facebook groups have been helpful for you? I've been learning from youtube videos for about a month now, but i will do my first injection tonight, and extra support sounds useful! Thanks so much, and you have a new subscriber 😊
Hi there … thankyou so much for watching my video and subscribing 🫶🏻 I hope you can join me on my daily vlogs when you have time. Good luck with your journey. You must be really excited to get it started. Quite a lot of the groups on Facebook are getting taken down at the moment but Mounjato Communith UK is a nice group and is still running. Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions at all xxx
Thanks for posting, love your vlogs, do you find it suppresses your appetite too much where you hardly eat at all? So it’s almost suppressing it too much if makes sense as in you hardly eat ? Also is there any advice once you stop, do you put the weight back That’s my only worries xx
Hi there. I have had the odd day when I’m not that hungry but these days I tend to eat fairly well. There is new research showing 50% keep all the weight off. I’m not feeling too worried about it at the moment. I’ll wait and see how things go xxx
USA. 62 yr old female and need to lose at least 62 pounds. Considering trying mounjaro but is tough to get insurance to pay and is too expensive over here without it…over $1200 per month.
I know… I can’t believe the price you need to pay over there. I’ve been watching with interest the whole story of compounding pharmacies vs Eli Lilly Hope you manage to get it hunny xx
I’m starting on this on Weds, excited but wondering if it will work on me as I previously tried Saxenda which didn’t work. Fingers crossed! I’m same starting weight as you x
Good luck …. It’s far superior to saxenda so I say be optimistic my love. It has GIP in addition to GLP1 so just try to do the right things and let it get to work and I’m sure you’ll see success xxxx
Looking to start Mounjaro this week - thank you for the informative video! One question that I worry about is - due to the lack of calories being consumed, do you feel weak? I want to continue going to the gym - will I have any energy?
I’ve only had a couple of days in the 2 months where I’ve felt tired. I think as long as you track your calories and work at having a decent amount of cals along with good protein and hydration you should be fine xxx
Hello …. I’m loving having you visit me❤️ sending you a big wave hello from North Yorkshire. Hopefully lots of fun and interesting updates to come. Appreciate your comment xxx❤️
I’m looking for videos were people talk less and get to the point if you’ve seen any, please let me know. I’m busy and I don’t have time to sit and listen to the extra talking.
Sounds like you're from.my neck of the woods. I started on ozempic 4 weeks ago, and I've lost nearly a stone with no side effects at all. It's mental. I'm just not hungry at all and eating probably one or two meal a day. The snacking has completely stopped. I've gone from.19 and a half to 18 stone 7. Unbelievable
Hi there and welcome!!!! Wow….. You must be absolutely over the moon!! Well done, that’s so good. These drugs are life changing … they are going to help so many of us shift the excess weight. So happy for you. Please keep me updated with your progress 🥰♥️
Just wannt to share my experience: - Lost 2 stone in 5 months :) - Some loss of energy in early months and loss of interest in things - At 10mg I started to experience occasional vomiting - Your hormones matter, I came off hrt briefly and I felt awful, I couldn't eat at all, my side effects went through the roof - Got back on hrt and feel side effects are manageable again but... - At 15mg there was a shortage and I ordered 12.5mg so I went down a dose - I have decided to continue down and have ordered 10mg next as I want to reduce side effects and start to titrate down now I have lost 2 stone - Still want to lose 2 stone to get to 'normal' BMI range - Is it worth it - yes, but be prepared for side effects - You might feel a loss of interest in things - You might feel sick in the mornings - You need to get your hormones in order, consider hrt if you are 45 or older - Don't eat high fat foods, you might be sick - If you are losing weight on lower doses it might not be worth titrating up
Of course. I’m not sure if you know that I have daily vlogs where I share everything I eat along with nutritional breakdown including calories and protein xxx This is the playlist link xxx ruclips.net/p/PLBU9x5FAnuPNRjmhRFxQXKC3r18nlZKjc&si=KkGE4LLHfhkDy806
Hi there. Fantastic news!!! Well done on your weightloss so far - that’s really brilliant. It should really improve your diabetes … your HbA1c will really respond. Good luck with your treatment, I wish you every success ♥️xx
New Sub here!! All the way from Florida 🌴 I LOVE your video, I started my journey May 3rd. I will take my 4th shot Sunday! Sunday is my day of choice (it was Monday). My starting weight was the same as yours 194lbs …I’m full blown in the middle of week 3, I’ve had no side effects week 1 & week 2, but week 3 I am having a hard time using the restroom. Again same like your journey. 😂
Hi there … so happy to have you here … where abouts in Florida are you? Loved it there when we visited. Yes, our journey sounds very similar. Week 3 was definitely my worst … feeling great now though 🤗🤗 Have a beautiful week and I hope to see you back again soon xxx♥️
This is going to depend on so many things including the person, their diet, lifestyle, exercise etc etc etc You do not have to come off it though …… xx
Hi I've been on mounjaro for 20 weeks now and lost nearly 4st. Down from 18st and now knocking on the door of the low 14's.I would probably have lost more but I'm partial to a few beers !. Just on that if you over do the booze you're not going to feel great. Trust me I've tried it. Only real symptoms are a dry mouth for a few days after injecting.
I have been on Mounjaro since April and I have not lost any weight. I also have no side effects, my doctor started me off on 2.5 for 2 months and am currently 10. Sometimes I wonder if its a placebo but it did bring mt A1c from 11.9 in April to 5.4 in August without any other medications
Hi, it will work if you have not ordered with med express before. If you have ordered from another pharmacy previously you can use it on your next pen with med express - code Z4NN21 for £40 off (minimum spend £110) xx
Hey .. so glad to find a homie - i am almost ready to take the plunge and start using mounjaro. I wanted to ask - are there any blood works I should get regularly done to keep tabs on my health? Is there anything i should speak to the GP about tht u would suggest? Please let me know. Thanks alot.
Hi I have not had any bloods and did not discuss with my gp. I think if you have health issues you may want to discuss with your gp although I’ve heard so many terrible stories on non supportive doctors. Your prescriber would be a as good point of contact also. I have given permission for my gp to be informed about my glp1 prescriptions. Not sure if this helps or not. Feel free to ask more if you need to xxx
@@ladymawaThanks a lot for replying. I am just feeling extremely low. Every time I decide to go for the injection .. some or the other horror story stops me from ordering (the recent beings someone getting gallblader infection and then sepsis and spending 2 weeks in A&E). I know I know i need to stop reading … but I am the kind of person who reads a 1000 reviews before ordering something from amazon. This is a completely different thing all together. Im extremely fearful of the known and unknown side effects… of the short term and long term health issues. I dont want to be out of frying pan and into fire situation. I dont want to get rid of my obesity and instead get pancreatic or stomach paralysis or god forbid cancer in return. I feel so upset i cant explain :( I literally havent slept well lately coz all I am doing is reading about MJ. 😢
Hiya. Glad I’ve found a UK review. I’m in Scotland. I’m really wanting to try this weight loss pen but when trying to buy online, all sites I’ve tried says they need to contact your GP? I’d rather my GP didn’t know about it (we don’t have the best relationship) Do you possibly know if this is the standard law or can I get it without letting my GP know? Thanks for any replies xx
Hi there I’m pleased you find me too. I get mine from med express and there is a box to tick to say yes or no to inform gp. I ticked yes but it’s still not on my notes so no idea of it was sent. You don’t have to inform your GP but I personally think it’s a good idea incase you are ever really ill at least they will know. I think half the time it’s a letter sent that the admin team just adds to notes. As I say mine has not shown up yet despite saying it was ok. As for your gp it’s none of their business lol. They can’t really stand in judgement of a decision you make for private care. I really hope you sort it. Med express are good at responding to queries if you contact them through their website. Let me know how you get on lovely xxxx
@@ladymawathank you so so much for the reply!! I’ve been bad with night time bingeing the last couple months and just can’t get my head sorted out, gained a stone recently so need to try something different ASAP. I’m 13st at the moment and DO NOT want to gain anymore 😞 It was MedExpress I was looking on so I’ll go have another look. Thanks so much again! xx
You are so welcome. I was always a night time snacker before mounjaro and it has completely stopped. I don’t even think about going into the kitchen for something. It is excellent at stopping the ‘food noise’ Wishing you all the best my love xxx
@@justicepeople8819 I actually just ordered a couple of days ago. I did end up changing my mind to Wegovy though. I have some issues with my heart and Wegovy has just been approved for cardiovascular benefits so thought I’d try it first. Not got it yet, should be in next couple days. MedExpress was out of stock so went through Superdrug in the end. Boots questionnaire went on and on and on and I gave up with them. lol.
Morning. Quick question. Just about to given second jab. Does the plunger rotate again and show the number 1. or should it show 2. for second dose. Can't find it on the instructions in the package. Numpty I know
Hi from Kentucky, USA. I am getting ready to start a GLP-1 this coming Friday. I figure if there are any side effects, I will be home to deal with them. I am going to be starting Semaglutide. I have been overwhelmed with all the different weight loss injections out there. It was very hard to choose. Part of me is wondering if I shouldn't have gone with Mounjaro.
Hi there - so lovely to know where you are from. Really appreciate you watching and also commenting ♥️ We only really have 2 injectables to choose from in the uk now (tirzepatide or semaglutide). We don’t have the compounds that you get in the US. I think you just need to see how you get on with it, I’m sure you’ll do great. Good idea about your start day. I wish you every success on your weightloss journey. Do let me know how you get on with it ♥️♥️
Hi Marcia, please can i also have the code for discount you mentioned above and website you used? Also, shall i start with 2.5 or just go straight to 5 as BMI very high? Thank you x
Hi there. Everyone starts on 2.5mg do you find have any other option my love. You then work your way up the doses. You can’t skip any. If you either drop me an email or message on insta I’ll pass on the code. Details are in my description box of the video. Good luck xxx
hiya, i was prescribed ozempic in march 2020 for my type 2 diabetes lost lots of weight and basically my diabetes went into remission, in 2022 it was Widley reported that there would be a shortage of ozempic so was taken of it HbA1c crept up a little bit as did my weight, my nurse asked me if i wanted to try mounjaro so on tuesday this week i have been prescribed it and i'm going on the lowest dose for four weeks, i am still very active i walk 14500 steps per day on average and run 2-3 times per week (5 km) on sundays me and my dog go on a 10 mile walk, so basically should i lose weight using mounjaro carrying these activities?
Hi there, that’s great that Ozempic really helped your diabetes. I’m surprised they took you off it, I think they were only meant to not start new patients on it but to keep existing diabetics on it. There was a shortage of manufacturing the pens rather than the actual drug itself. Such a shame your numbers started to rise again. Good news though that you are now on mounjaro. I think you do 4 weeks on 2.5mg then go up to 5mg after that. I hope it helps reduce your HbA1c again … I wish you the very best of luck. I really can’t advise about your activity etc for diabetes and a GLP1 … your nurse is the best source of information. Good luck ♥️
@@ladymawa don't even glorify this with a reply. He Could have been a bit more courtious when sharing his opinion. How do I buy this medicine? And how mach please
If UK google Mounjaro, many online pharmacies do it but most are 'powered' by the same doctor service 'Zava' So I just went with the cheapest (Asda Online). I get my first dose tomoz :D Cost varies, my first 4 doses were £160 with a voucher.
@@MariaAntonia-vr5dfYou’ll need to ask your family doctor for a prescription. :)
If you are in the uk you can order through an online pharmacy. I use med express. I do not know how to get it in other countries xxx
I've just started 2.5 on Saturday and i've experienced some headaches also. i'm so motivated and so glad to see other people's journey and experience.

Thankyou so much and good luck on your journey. Please keep me updated with how you are getting on. It’s an incredible drug xx
Brilliant. It’s all these little victories that add up to huge results xxx🥰♥️

(Texas)

5mg pen has the same cost so basically 271€ for 2 months instead if 1 😱
I have taken my 4th dose this week and plan on using the 5th dose in the pen too. After that, depending on results, I may go up 5mg or stick to 2.5mg for now.
Congrats on the 2kgs!! ❤️

Hi lovely …. How is your journey going? So sorry that I am late replying. You have had a great start. Glad it’s working well for you have a beautiful day xxx
Hi Marcia,
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for doing this video.
@@MagsyMoo good luck and fingers crossed for you! X
Hey @MagayMoo …. Good luck darling. I hope you have an incredible journey. All those struggles will soon be behind you. I wish you every success 🥰♥️
@@ladymawa again, thank you for the video and thank you for replying so I know you’ve read the comment. X

Update: I'm in week 3 now and love love love Mounjaro. I hope to stay on the lowest dose as long as possible.

Hello! Just injected my first dose after dinner today and I’m excited! Love your enthusiasm and all the information you provide. Good luck to us! 😅
Hey there - woohoo good luck sweetie. Congratulations on starting your journey. Thankyou for watching and commenting, really lovely of you. Please keep me up to date with your progress. Good luck!! Xx
HI how lovely you are im in the UK too I've been on mounjaro for 11 weeks I'm loving it I'm a RN too

Thanks … I know about ketosis … I was a nurse practitioner in a past life but don’t tell anyone lol.
Appreciate you taking the time to comment xx
Woohoo …. Well done sweetie b that’s fabulous 🫶🏻♥️
Good luck with the rest of your journey xx
I am so glued to this channel, you are such a breath of fresh air ❤ I have just ordered my first dose hopefully it works.

Hi from Tennessee in the US. Thanks for your information. I am on my 1st week and so excited!
Hi!! It’s so exciting isn’t it. I’m so pleased you have watched my video and taken the time to comment - Thankyou. Good luck with your journey. It’s an incredible drug xxx
I subscribed as soon as you spoke, I love your energy and honesty 👍
I’m also in the UK 🇬🇧
I started Mounjaro last Sunday and will inject every Sunday evening, just so it’s easier to remember my days and times to be the same every week.
I had my 2nd dose tonight and so far no side affects 🤞
I don’t feel any difference of being fuller quicker, but I have noticed that my cravings have stopped at least 90%.
I need to lose many Stones in weight 😢😢
🧡💚.
Olympic only helped with my a1c not weight
I suppose we are all going to have varying responses. Did you switch to tirzepatide? Good that your a1c improved xxx
Started today.
Have struggled all my life keeping it off. I lost 9st three years ago on 1:1 / Cambridge, but hoping that this can be a tool to help manage and train better eating habits.
It’s encouraging to hear your story 👍
Good luck!!!! I’m sure you will have a fantastic journey. The extra help it gives systemically is so valuable. Keep us all updated xxxx
So lovely to have you here ♥️
You have a great weightloss so far - congratulations. You must be so happy with it 🤗.
Hope to see you back again. Keep me up to date with your progress xxx♥️
Finally a UK review. I think Ill do one once I hit 4 weeks.
There aren’t many of us are there lol … xx♥️
Ive been looking for uk reviews too, so happy to have found you!
Aw Thankyou xx
Best of luck to you! I am also taking Tirzepatide from Swisschems, and I have recently started as well. I have noticed that I feel more satiated and do not have as much of an appetite to overeat.
Thankyou so much ♥️
It’s an incredible drug isn’t it. I no longer think about food.
Good luck on your journey. Please keep in touch with your progress xx♥️
Well done 🎉
Great video and really helpful. Thank you. I am week 1 (2 days in).
Hi hunny …. Thankyou so much♥️.

@@ladymawa Its going well so far two days in! Just have really bad headaches even with lots and lots of water! Not sure whats happening! :(
I am a week in. Doing a vlog too. Lost 12 pounds and spot checks from 130 to 105
Thanks for this video, Marcia.
Thank you so much for sharing your journey. I'm excited to start mine x
You are welcome ♥️ good luck sweetie … remember to keep me updated with your journey xxx
Awwww that’s what weight I am now - 13,12.5 :) 🎉

Wow this is so bloody exciting!!!!!

Im on day 5, been drinking 2 litres of water. Worried about going for a bowel movement. But no side effects really. Starting weight 177.8lbs
How you getting on? I'm day 1 lol it's been sitting in fridge for 2 weeks as I got poorly with chest infection- let's hope I'm fine 😢😊
@@ladymawa thank you for your advice
No problem. If you have any questions at all please feel free to just ask xxx
Well done! Glad the side effects haven't been too bad. I always think about food, the food noise is real 🤣x
Thanks darling …. Ooh it gets loud doesn’t it. It’s so strange not thinking about food all the time for me now xxx
Hello from USA connecticut. Week 12 mounjaro. Down 16. 4 pounds. Love it🎉❤❤

Hi from America. I just started week 1 and I’m just like you sitting around analyzing every feeling! 😂
Hello and welcome!! It’s so strange isn’t it. I was convinced I’d have something dreadful almost immediately lol.

Yay …. Amazing 🥰❤️
Hello from the US! 👋
Thank you for sharing your journey!
One of the main reasons this method is not the one for me is injections - I have a hard enough time being a big girl (pun intended) at the Dr's nevermind having to do it to myself, but if it puts you off your tea then that's a deal breaker for me 😉 I'm sure my blood type is T 🤣
I'd like to know though, is this a forever thing?
I'm so glad though that you have had minimal side effects and that this is making you so happy!
xx
Thanks for all your tips hunny. Currently feeling back to normal lol … for now xxx♥️
The needle is so tiny honestly ❤
Can I ask what you eating please. On day one today. 😊

Glad you have joined me 🥰♥️
I hope you are having a good journey so far.
I started really noticing a difference at the beginning of the 2nd week .
@@amyliberatore3337 Thankyou for sharing your experience. I’m sure they will find this helpful 🥰♥️
I know this from my own experience🤣🤣
Keep in touch xxx
Just had my 1st jab tonight. I'm looking forward to some serious weight loss 😃
Good luck. Slow and steady weekly losses add up to incredible results …. I hope you have a great first week xx
I’m 5 weeks in and have lost 20lbs, really pleased
Wowzers … that’s fantastic! Well done hun xxx
PS I actually left food when on holiday last week which is unknown for me!

Bring a cuppa … lots to cover today but after this it will be weekly updates so should be much quicker. You know I love a good old chat though 🙈
Hi, cotton mouth or a dry mouth is a nuisance because drinking water doesn't really help so although I do make sure I am drinking plenty of water, I find (sugar free) chewing gum is the absolute best thing for that. ok. So forgot to prime. twirled the knob to 1. held the plunger in skin. counted. 5🤞
Thanks for sharing your experience. Had my first injection today!
- At 10mg I started to experience occasional vomiting
- Your hormones matter, I came off hrt briefly and I felt awful, I couldn't eat at all, my side effects went through the roof
- Got back on hrt and feel side effects are manageable again but...
- At 15mg there was a shortage and I ordered 12.5mg so I went down a dose
- I have decided to continue down and have ordered 10mg next as I want to reduce side effects and start to titrate down now I have lost 2 stone
- Still want to lose 2 stone to get to 'normal' BMI range
- Is it worth it - yes, but be prepared for side effects
- You might feel a loss of interest in things
- You might feel sick in the mornings
- You need to get your hormones in order, consider hrt if you are 45 or older
- Don't eat high fat foods, you might be sick
- If you are losing weight on lower doses it might not be worth titrating up
Thanks for sharing your journey so far. Good luck getting to your target 🫶🏻
Could you do a video on what we should eat during the day what foods are good for protein and such
Of course. I’m not sure if you know that I have daily vlogs where I share everything I eat along with nutritional breakdown including calories and protein xxx

Thank you for this shared experience!!!
You are very welcome xx
i’m starting it on thursday. i am type 2 diabetic. i’ve just lost 17lbs through diet alone but i got this to help with that extra push
Week 3 was definitely my worst … feeling great now though 🤗🤗
Have a beautiful week and I hope to see you back again soon xxx♥️
@@ladymawaI’m in Wesley Chapel Florida, the suburbs of Tampa FL. Thanks, you as well!
Oh how beautiful. It’s so lovely on the west coast … ☀️♥️
What happens when stop taking it? Does weight come back?
This is going to depend on so many things including the person, their diet, lifestyle, exercise etc etc etc
You do not have to come off it though …… xx
Hi
I've been on mounjaro for 20 weeks now and lost nearly 4st. Down from 18st and now knocking on the door of the low 14's.I would probably have lost more but I'm partial to a few beers !. Just on that if you over do the booze you're not going to feel great. Trust me I've tried it. Only real symptoms are a dry mouth for a few days after injecting.
Well done. Thats an incredible weight loss in such a short amount of time. Xxx
Thanks for sharing. Being cold happens when you’re in ketosis so you might be in that.
Thankyou for info xx
Thanks for your discount code. Does it work for second week and more or for new customers only? 😢 Xx
Hi
I have not had any bloods and did not discuss with my gp.
I feel so upset i cant explain :(
I literally havent slept well lately coz all I am doing is reading about MJ. 😢
I’m 2 days in! Hopefully it goes well ❤
Good luck!!!! Keep me updated ♥️
Great honest journey do you combine exercise like say walking.
I really enjoy strength training. I prefer weights to anything else xxx
From America! Thanks for translating from stone to pounds 😮
Hi there …. Ah you are welcome xxxx🥰♥️
Hi there
I’m pleased you find me too.
It is excellent at stopping the ‘food noise’
Wishing you all the best my love xxx
@@Tiddler14Did you sign up for one? As the company I use don’t ask for GP contact.
Numpty I know
Hi hun …. It’s always 1 …. Make sure you do your 2 click prime then wind up to number 1 xx
Oops. slips. Forgot to prime. Just injected. and counted 5.
Really appreciate you watching and also commenting ♥️
We only really have 2 injectables to choose from in the uk now (tirzepatide or semaglutide).
This is just too long winded.
Never mind. Loads of other channels out there for you x
@@ladymawa don't even glorify this with a reply. He Could have been a bit more courtious when sharing his opinion. Ues it was long, but informative, and I love your enegy and positivity, I hope it keeps on working out for, I was hesitant but watching your vids I am going to take the plunge. Not going to share my story as it probably the same for most of us nowadays. But thanks, keep it up and don't change. Dont just grace bitter / nasty viewers with neither your time nor energy.
