Wow, the waterbased finish looks amazing on that timber! Door came out great. Haven't seen this design before but I really really like it
Thanks Robin! Yeah I really didn't want to use an oil based for this one, and the waterbased ended up really turning out natural. Great to hear from ya!

Bru is making it from scratch. I came to see how to install an already made door.😅
Great video! I am looking at building one myself, and this was very helpful. I definitely would not have thought about putting the plywood in the middle of the boards.
Have fun with the project Jerry!
Yep, great job, I'll be copying your method for 4 double wide openings in my ranch house. Thanks!!
Thumbs up for giving April her props!!
April is awesome! Cheers and thanks for watching!
Holy Helena Montana where has this been? I have all the hardwear but this remains one of the unfinished projects in my new house. This is exactly what I want for my barn door! Thanks so much! I can't wait to show my son this, and bust this out to impress my 6 brothers .... who are self-proclaimed journeyman carpenters, engineers, and architects even though they spend their days doing taxes, drilling people's teeth, and coaching.
Hope all is well up in the Capital city Ivory! Cheers!
Finally!!! a modern barn door---awesome job
Hey Greg thanks so much for watching! Yeah I am really getting into Scandinavian design and a more clean and modern style. If you have any ideas on cool modern projects I should do a video on let me know! Cheers!

Sweet Pete!!!! One of your nicest projects yet!
Thanks for watching Fabricio, always great to hear from you!
Thanks! I love your work !❤
Great video. Easy to follow instructions, tools all DIY'ers actually have, finished edges for once in these videos and a great finished wood product instead of just being painted over.
I will use this to build four sliding closet doors with hardware from the old cardboard specials (which I will repurpose as kites or book covers, but not sure if they'll be strong enough to use writing paper).
Im also leaning toward making a front door for my condo with plywood on the outside so I can paint it the mandatory uniform colour on the outside, while keeping it as shown on the inside to replace the paper door that each suite has (on my $600k condo the cheap bastards). Obviously the outside frame will need some tweeking for the latch but not a big change). So many possibilities with different wood, stains, location of the door, size which makes this project so handy and a great alternative to the big box store clones which just look cheap to me.
Thanks so much for making this video and sharing to all of us that take pride in building our own renovation materials, while looking for options from the norm. Great job my man!
Thanks so much and best of luck with all those doors!!
Another Great project Pete. keep them coming!
Thanks Vinnie! Great to hear from you man!
We use to live in Whitehall, MT. Hoping to build a small home in the near future. Will come back to this vid when we're ready. Nice door. Well done.
Hi and great to hear from another Montanan! I have some friends in the Whitehall/Cardwell area :) Hope all is well where you are at now, and have fun building that home when you get to it!
Parabéns, ficou top !
Great build! I really like the look of that cedar wood tons better than the stuff we use where I work. I especially appreciate the fact that you finished the wood with clear coat; I hate when people buy really pretty wood then cover it with paint.
Thanks so much for watching and for the kind words!
Nicelly done... Now I have to make one of those too... Subscribed! Cheers from Portugal!
Thank you so much for subscribing and I hope all is well in Portugal!

Thank you for showing the handle pull on the backside of the door. I have searched all over for details. Our door will be on a bathroom so we definitely need an inside handle.

Hey Chris! I hope all is well up in Great Falls. I was actually just up there last week to pick up a new truck! Cheers
Hey, Pete! Another great video. I plan to build two of these after I do 5 of your floating shelves. My husband is a U of Montana grad and sends his regards. We'd live in Montana if it wasn't so cold. The best we can do is go to Whitefish in the summers. ;-) Thanks so much for your great instructions.
Hey! Thanks for saying hi and for taking the time to watch another video :) Sounds like you have quite the list of fun projects to tackle! That's cool your husband is a U of Montana grad and that you still make it up to Whitefish in the summers. It's beautiful up there! Hope all is well and good luck with those shelves! Cheers

Thank you!
Very well explained, good job!
Thank you!
Love what you are doing. Keep it up.
Thanks for your support Shannon! I hope all is well :)
I have been remodeling a basement using cedar for baseboards, moulding, etc..
Funny, I applied the same water based product. Very happy with how that product keeps the natural tone of wood.
Door looks great! I do wonder if a welding metal together at seams would deter any future wood warping. Perhaps the osb is enough to keep things plumb.
Cool!!! bring the idea to my beach house in Brazil!! tsk a lot
It's really came out very well. Love it.
It would be great if you could round over the door guide channel both ends..
Thanks!
Massive job. You're a better handy man than me!
Thanks for watching!
