Thank you for your transparency. I really enjoy your skin updates. Your skin looks fantastic! I love your reminder not to expect perfection. It’s hard to remember that, especially when struggling with acne for over a decade, but it’s important to accept the scars and the texture.

You look so healthy and beautiful! You always were stunning with or without acne. Skin problems can really create this sort hyper focus that can be so consuming, which in turn can sometimes make things worse. Has in my case. Going to try and simplify things. It’s so hard!
Love these shades of red on you by the way :)

Incredible how good your skin is now compared to that before image! I believe skin is a reflection of our health status. Diet sports, hormones, stress level, sleeping quality, etc... The list goes on and on. Even with the most expensive products or the best skincare treatment, if one factor such as sleep insufficiency is missing, it will be reflected on the skin. What we need most is a balanced lifestyle and the right mindset.

I'm new here and I'm glad I could find a person who already went through for some procedures I want to do on my skin as I had pretty cistyc acne as well and have deep scaring as well... Have you tried niacinamide before applying tretinoine or any acid? I use salicylic acid and azelaic acid in the morning and 0.3% adapalene + 2.5% benzoyle peroxide everynight and my skin tolerate those well because of niacinamide, it also helps with redness, hyperpigmentation and is an antioxidant. You could also try switching lactyc acid for azelaic acid, that one also helps with redness and helps control breakouts.

I love niacinamide! It shows up in some form in my skincare routine on occasion 😊 I like AA but I'm content just using BPO as needed and keeping my routine simple - that alone has helped reduce redness!
