They actually have a tinted version of this that has an SPF of 50+ not just 50. I think the tint will suit your skintone. For the pilling, I suggest skipping the cleanse prior to sunscreen application. 😊

I have tested that one and: yes it pills, especially when my face is moisturised (but we must have in mind that most UV filters are oil substances, and they don't get along hapilly with water). Another thing is that it is not invisible. I can clearly see it on my face, as it is dewy (but not overly shiny). Last, but not least, there where times when my face, and neck, burned and stung by using this, especially in hot and humid conditions. And the same goes for the Avene Spray sunscreen that i was using on my arms! Ps: and then they market these for sensitive skin!!!

You have got me interested in Avene sunscreens. I use the kiss me mommy UV aqua milk from Japan. Your nails look really good by the way - the color really sets off your hands. Very elegant.

My favorite sunscreen is the la roche posay oil control sunscreen. The only downside is that it could leave a bit of yellowish stain on the collar when I wear white tshirts.

Unfortunately, most of the sunscreens I use will peel after serum or moisturizer.😢

Does it need like double cleanse to properly be removed like chemical sunscreens? Or it’s organic and it’s alright if it doesn’t wash off properly with single cleanse

^i might have missed it but does it work well with makeup on top? I have dry skin from tret so it’s such a pain to find one that doesn’t make makeup pill up or get patchy

Hope to see more SPF reviews! :) The seemingly huge amount of alcohol denat was a problem for me too. It felt like putting hand sanitizer on my face. Burned and made me super dry. I'm not sure how they can call it "Hydrating Cream" 😅

Praying they give up on the old generation UV filters in the formula. They released the kids version this year and they've excluded most of the old generation ones (they left the avobenzone though).

Try the "hur" korean sunscreen, I haven't tried it yet but i have it. It is a fluid texture with no alcohol and few extracts, i think it has like 3 or less extracts, and no niacinamide.

I love that sunscreen! Ive tried all of the uvmune 400 non tinted sunscreens and they’re all good. I like the hydrating one for casual days and the oil reducing liquid for beach days or days I’ll be in the sun for a while. The oil reducing cream is also very nice, just slightly matter than the hydrating cream. The oil control formula has higher uva protection than the hydrating version, probably because they have more alcohol so the filters are more evenly dispersed through the formula

I have 1A straight hair. Yours has slight waves after the shower and your ends curl a bit. Mine is allways straight, especially when just beeing washed and blowdried it doesn't have a single wave or kink. The edge is straight as well. Yours is not 1A.😅 Also low porosity hair feels very smooth. My hair is extremely smooth and soft. Gets oily fast. Most products leave built up. I just use a deep cleanse shampoo. I use moisture shampoo. Keratin products make it break and fall.😮 Repair products leave it flat and no volume. Volume products again give build up and I dislike them a lot. Most time I don't use conditioner. My hair doesn't tangle. I need to brush my hair like every 2 days... it doesn't tangle at all. Also stopped dying it, best descision for me.

I recommend Dr rogers balm. Expensive but it’s special. It works better than aqua phor etc. I use it on my body eczema

I really appreciate content like this that takes a step back from hyper-consumerist attitudes that are drilled into us. I similarly make the mistake of buying so many things I don’t need or have no idea if they’ll work (before even finishing products I’m still using). Seeing things like this is a really healthy reminder to be a bit more patient with my skin care, as so many products are massively overhyped. It’s also easy to look past the effect that stressing out over different skin care will have on our skin too! Best to keep it simple and purchase mindfully for sure. 🌷
