    Sejal, I really loved the fact that there was no before-after picture, no weighing, no inches. People forget that it's not about looking good only, it is also about feeling good in your body. I have always faced this issue, but even I used this quarantine period to feel good about myself. I really loved the video, extremely relatable.

    If u guys can't workout a lot and want to make ur overall health better just by making simple change do these 2 things .
    1. Avoid processed sugar completely , u can compensate for sugar with fruits , honey , mishri , gudd , but avoid sugar , sweets , soft drinks.
    2. Change ur cooking oil , most of us use refined oil thinking it to be good but it's the worst for ur body .google to know more .
    Use natural oils like mustard oil( easy and cheap) or olive oil or ghee .
    Make these 2 changes u will see a huge change in ur health.

    Hey Sejal .... This video of your and fitness journey♥️. Quite relatable. I was always in 54-55Kg zone till my masters. After that I joined job in Noida and with untimely meals the health was still ok. Then I joined PhD, in last 3.5 years I put on weight the maximum was 67KG. Academic life was going well but I was not happy with my self, always complaining,always in frustrated mode. Then in september 2019 , I said to myself "it's now or never" .... I started with Yoga, and yeah the gym and ground for running in our college campus also helped me alot.. During those time learned about intermittent fasting too. Honestly I couldn't follow it for long. But yeah having dinner early definitely helps in reducing weight. My body weight shifted from 67Kg (gained in 4 years) to 60.8 Kg (last measured in March 2020). Sharing all these with you because I found it so so relatable🤗. The academic activity was suspended due to Corona so I came to stay with my sister. We do Zumba or Yoga in the morning depending upon the time we have before our office starts.Simultaneously started maintaining a gratitude journal. I am sure this video of yours will help alot of people who are struggling with a motivation. Lots of love to you. I have been following your videos since last year. You are doing amazing. Loved your saree video. Keep inspiring 💝

      @hiba.zaheer 4 года назад +15

      intermittent fasting is actually only 2 meals a day if you want to lose weight. Plus with her meals she also said that she takes salad or tea sometimes so she is technically not eating less. I am aso doing the same thing since past 2 months which has helped me lose weight. :)

    • @tanyashah9556
      @tanyashah9556 4 года назад +6

      I don’t think she’s eating less. It’s good to eat a little less than eat a lot as that can lead to you being bloated. Moreover, she’s consuming normal home food and I take the same quantity as her too. Indian food can be quite heavy so I personally feel it’s fine to eat how much she is eating. The fast can vary upon different people and there is no such thing as doing it “one way”.

    In this situation of quarantine I have noticed that everyone is worried that they can't go through their earlier day routine which upsets them and make them feel low..... But what I feel is that these quarantine days r golden days which we have got to take a break from regular routine, modify our old routine to better heights like adding some workout, redoing our hobbies, spending actual family time and many more...... This video of your sejal di have motivated me a lot.... And also gave me a clarification in my mind that being both mentally and physically healthy is what our body requires...... So thank u for such a beautiful inspiring and motivating video..... Love u ❤😘

    Fruits are better than juice as juice contains a lot of fructose (sugar) which can ONLY be metabolised by the liver. The liver either stores it as fat or converts it into VLDL (Cholesterol). Also eating ONE fruit can be filling rather than one glass of juice (4/5 fruits).

    It's good when your parents are into fitness because it helps children develop healthy eating habits (not deprivation based eating but healthy eating). Happy to see you have healthy eating habits from childhood :)

    For everyone that is saying she was never fat, I don't think she mentions fat or thin. She has spoken really well and only focused on how she felt physically. For someone who has had great metabolism and a lean structure thoughtout life, when you start putting on weight, a lot of physiological changes like the ones she mentioned happen especially drop in energy and stamina. It's not and shouldn't be about fat/thin, but fitness and that's what she addresses.
