I stumbled upon a ps 1 at sears when it was in high demand back in the day and bought it without hesitation and I’ve been a PlayStation fan since! So many fond memories,like bringing it to my friends house to plug in and play before everyone had a home system, many good times, laughs and getting together to play at a friends house became a regular thing. So many first time memories.

@@purepsx I do look forward to Duke Nukem and Crash. Been revisiting unchartered an there was this fun reference to Crash where you could actually play the game! I've already ordered the case and accessories for this portal, can't wait for the unit itself! Thanks so much for the indepth review on it.

Great video, idk if I should get portal. My PS5 speed test shows 399 down and 4 up (Wired) but should be 200 up speed. Remote Play on my phone lags every 20 secs and I tried everything to get better UP speed but no luck.
Thanks fam! That’s annoying maybe you could contact your internet service provider and tell them that the slow upload speed is hampering your ability to use the internet and see if they will send you some new gear or maybe up your speeds? I would wait until you get it working well via remote play on your phone before you pick up a portal just to be safe!
I get 11mb up and it struggles a bit with 60fs games. 30fps generally works ok. I think Sony's recommendation of 15mb up is probably about right. Controls feel good though, and PS1 games really do fit well on the portal due to the screen and they normally ran at 30fps.
