The Creepy Abandoned Doctor's House Where Time Stands Still

- Enjoy exploring creepy abandoned houses? If so this video is for you. While out exploring and searching for mushrooms, I came across this very creepy and scary house lost deep in the woods. It was wide open and not posted, so I crept inside to learn it's story. And I was amazed at the story I uncovered!
Although it appears that the house was lived in as recently as 20 odd years ago and ransacked since them by man and beast, it was a virtual time capsule of the people who originally built the house over 100 years ago. There were medical diplomas on the wall that were over 100 years old and they have never been touched since they were first placed there. I have to admit, this place creeped me out more than most any other abandoned place that I have explored.

Can't believe the family left those diplomas just hanging on the wall. You should research the doctor who's name is on them. Very valuable!
Cant believe you didnt open a single trunk. Where did the real Beau go? You are a treasure hunter.
Who knows what he took with him.
Seriously, it was killing me seein him pass by those berfect beauties
-> next video ;)
Doubt he has permission to take form that property.
@@ashmaybe9634 He does on account of him keeping his mouth shut about the HEEEUUMAN BONES hidden everywhere inside
Oh man..that antique Necco box. . . what a shame so many cool old things rotting away in that house that someone could be appreciating.
Hattie True loved the Necco box too! The old crocks, jars! Bunches of stuff I would rescue! Could be the old Dr and and his wife didn't have children or didn't have living children. So everything just sits. Especially if your closest relatives are old.
such a shame to see the remnants of peoples lives just rotting away.
You've got one wicked bad imagination! Almost made me cry to think of the life stories that house could tell, and now it's just being trashed. We don't have anyone to leave our place to. I sure hope we can find someone who will love it as we do. I hate to think of it ending up like that place.
Saw you had your zombie spike in your bag hehe...
What was in the chests??
Should have looked in the steamer trunks. Maybe an old haunted wedding dress in there. Spooooky!
Who voted that the Chigg has to come back and open the trunk and creates!👀 Vote by giving likes to this comment!👹 And we can say we voted he's got to do it!👻
👹
Yes open them
Looters came through and took the pipes. You think they didnt look in there? Theres nothing there
I would have looked and let the people that watch see what's in or not in there! Yes looters came and stole the pips they might have been I a hurry to get gone! I saw quite a few items sort as much as twenty feet of scrap copper! And 69 people want to see in there too! So far in one day!😎 cheers brocephus.... ..
@@Whelessry they really weren't very good looters if they were looters plenty of open scrap and pieces worth money laying in that house still it looks like they didn't touch a thing except the wall but it really doesn't seem like looters/scrappers since they left all electrical and tons of pipes
So many salvageable items in that house..with the right crew, it could be worth thousands.
What a shame that someones life belongings ended up as this unholy mess! I saw some great antiques in there man! Thanks for taking us along!!!
That's what I was thinking... Look at all the antiques... Even the door hardware was cool.
Made me think of The Ghost and Mr. Chicken, the piano, and attic, lol. I'm sure that house was a grand lady in her day, sad seeing the Dr's achievements abandoned.
Funny you said that
I was waiting to see a pair of scissors in a picture of a woman stuck in the neck.
Would LOVE to go picking thru that house!!! So many tidbits and furniture to appreciate!
You and me both! There would be some gems in there for sure. I'd wear a mask and gloves though for sure.
"This is too spooky... so I'm gonna come back here at night!" 😂 Chigg you're the best!
That piano is worth more than the house.
That is a console piano i bought mine for $300 they arent worth much and weigh a ton and expensive to repair
That's not a console piano. It's a Vose&Sons Square Grand; probably late 1800's- early 1900's by the look of it. Looks a little bit rough due to all the dust but it's probably worth around a good $1K as it sits now. If you were to clean it up, get it tuned, and everything else; they'll go for a good $3-5K.
@@GemCityHippie if you look on ebay there is one listed buy it now 1259$ make offer, here where i live we call them consoles, mine is a Chickering in rococo style , they actually have about 5 on ebay under $1000 one for $350 buy it now all free local pickup, to get the piano in beaus video to get the help to move it i would NOT pay more than a few hundred for it, plus cost of moving, it really isnt worth more than that plus restoration, a lot of these get reporposed as desks and other pieces of furniture for it to be worth $3-5k you are going to have to spend $3-5k with a good restorer, as i said i paid $250 for mine at and estate sale nobody wanted to move it cost me $300 to move that thing and i use as a display piece my first was a comment based on my opinion and things i have had happen to me
That Necco Sweets crate was pretty cool. Especially when you consider the company just went out of business last year after being around since before the Civil War.
@Lynn Maupin-Simpson You are not missing much.
They were kinda sour
Great video Chigg! but if you don't open that chest and those boxes I will HAVE TO unsub... please don't leave your army hangin man! PLEEEAAASE!!
I really wish you had opened the trunks on camera.
Vandals and critters really mess abandon places up.
I was actually amazed that all the windows were still intact though. That was a first for me to ever see.
gonna have to learn to read lips he keeps this whisper thing up. lol
Bathroom with a lock on the OUTSIDE of the door- there's no good reason for that!
What a shame the house is such a wreck! As you meander through, I try to imagine what it looked like in its full glory.
Bless you, Beau, I don't think I'd have thew nerve to explore that house alone; TOO g-damn creepy!
Why are you whispering? I can't hear you.....💗
I’m willing to say pretty confidently the family likely moved out in mid November to early January of some year. Possibly early 2000s, as the Reynolds wrap and bleach bottles aren’t old enough to be pre-1990. This is an absolute treasure trove! I’d take this over a gold coin cache any day!
Awesome video!! Checked this place out a few months back! It’s an incredible house!! Thanks for sharing was nice to see again! The piano and a lot of the house has been set up by urban exploring photographers!
Thanks Chigg!!! Neat old house find!! To bad nobody rescued family heirlooms🙁 There were interesting finds and looked like family photos. Dude, what was in the chest? Mrs. Doctor? 😂😂😂 Thanks👍👍👍
When I explore an abandoned house I wonder the exact same thing, why was everything left? What happened to the homeowner(s)? Just image the pride the owner had when the house was first built and being used.
LOVE these types of videos Beau! Although I am fascinated with abandoned homes, there is a sadness within. This was someone's life, and now is left forgotten.
I love listening to your mind work in these spooky old houses. Hilarious!
LOL - you are quite the story teller...love it!! I'd be looking in those trunks though.
Yay it's the chigg man I've been waiting for this video all day. 😃
I always wonder about who lived in places like that. I'd guess the person died there and didn't have any family who valued their things or property. You'd hope it wasn't a sad story though.
Chigg
Why didn’t you look in the big boxes
I'm legitimately ineffably upset that Vose & Sons Piano is sitting in a decaying home. This is such an extraordinary historically valuable find. Please, please, please figure out a way to rescue it and get it to a museum. You can do it! I have total faith in your piano rescue abilities!!
Should get his name off of the diploma and search it
We need a second video of this place with you opening the wooden trunks and boxes. Thank you for the video's you lut out. God Bless.
The Chigg Witch Project
That....was....AWESOME! ❤ The piano was gorgeous and I could have spent hours looking thru all those boxes and trunks! I also had this urge to fix her up back into a beautiful home 😍 Thanks for taking us along, and for the record I heard you fine with my headphones on phone 😉
Chigg. You need to pick that place for us. There were all kinds of neat old stuff in there. You know what will happen when the Tweakers move in. Aquachigger, stay awesome!
We love the design of that house! and that piano was gorgeous.
awesome video nice little change up. Hope to see more like this one
Dude, I love your videos.
You sound just fine. This is AMAZING! Thank you, thank you, thank you for taking us along! Wow!
WOW.chigg wow.keep on rummaging.i can smell it from here and I like it. Thanks for taking us.and respect to you for respecting other people's things.
Love your commentary was you wonder round so entertaining makes me smile
You should be wearing a mask when you are in places like that, Your making me cough just watching you. Some cool old relics.
Wow I would love to come clean that place out. So many great finds!!
It's really a shame to see what people can do to a house through their actions and inactions.
That old house would have been a fine home in it's day, before it was trashed and left to dilapidate.
Maybe even into the 1970s.
Came for the cool old house; stayed for the hilarious utterances of Chigg's overactive imagination!
A bit of urban explore with a dash of cave digging, a touch of metal detecting, some magnet fishing, a few yuman bones here and there and The Chigg himself. Oh how I love your channel ❤️ 🇦🇺
Your humor makes me laugh !!! Thanks !
That piano is probably worth like 10 grand... absolutely crazy...
If only, if those walls could talk. That's amazing and sad all at once. So much history there I bet. I would love to know the story behind that place. Sad none of original family could take care of the place. Who knows if any of them are still alive. .......thanks for sharing
Wow! What an interesting house. Love the piano.
What a beautiful home that must have been.
Why are you whispering no one is there you think the vibration is going to take the walls down
That place is huge. There are some important certifications and degrees scattered around. All of that house and its contents were very important to someone long ago. And a bit creepy
Great vid chiggs
What a GORGEOUS piano!!
Beau, you should have played St James Infirmary on that piano. That would really set the mood.
Haha loved this vid fella, nice one!!
Dude! That piano is worth thousands! Perhaps 10s of thousands.
Looks like it's from 1889.
I just watched a video from another explorer on the same house. That's wild. Yours is better, more detail! The piano I looked up and it's worth a good chunk of change. It's sad to see things that were once loved and cherished left to become part of nature. Please be careful, I'm afraid one of these days you are going walk right over and into a well. We hope not! Thanks for sharing your videos. I love them all.
I LOVED that Necco candy wood box! That is one of my favorite candies and they've recently stopped making them.
Linda Snyder the Necco company was bought by someone. They still make them! Loved that box too! So much stuff that could be rescued. But urban hunters must not take anything, just look and take pictures or video.
@@tereselapree222 Thank you for the info! I went to Amazon and bought quite a few. I know they can't take anything but that box would've tempted me.....lol
Linda Snyder many things would have tempted me! But if the smell made Beau gag, I probably would not have gone as far as he did! So glad he took video!
Dam, you are crazy Chigg !!
Ur imagination Mr.Chigg lol...love the old abandoned house explores great video thanks stay safe ✌
I was waiting for Leatherface to come running out the front door
What kind of mushrooms?🤔 Man it's so weird seeing all these abandoned houses where you live, it just seems so wasteful, what kind of people would let a house go like that damn, hopefully someone will up-cycle heaps of stuff from it instead of it rotting to dust. Thanks for taking us along!
Hahahaha! LOVED it! Sharing!
He cut out the footage every time he opened stuff what a bummer!
I assume that means he found treasure in them. Gold, stocks, bonds...
After all, that piano is worth tens of thousands itself.
@@jackasschicken5922 in that condition probably not but it does look like a piano forte and I'm not sure how many of that name are even around.
WOW! This could be a beautiful house if it were fixed up. Such a shame.
First abandoned house I think I've ever seen with every window still intact 😲
Waiting for that rocking chair to start rocking in that cellar.
I always look upon places like that think about their history and try to imagine that at one time, it was all brand new and neat and then I wonder what all happened that brought it to its current state. What a story to tell. I also think about that when I am in the car junkyard looking for parts.
If I were younger and better physical health I'd like to get the clean up rights to old forgotten places like that. Get a big dumpster brought in and get a couple of teens to help me haul the junk out and save all the antiques and take them to the auction house those old diplomas and the frames their in could bring a nice price if you find the right people. I seen well over a thousand dollars worth of stuff there. I wish you would have opened those trunks. I bet there was some awesome finds in them.
What really breaks my heart is how those crack heads/copper thieves go in a trash the homes like they do. All their looking for is a quick buck to get their next fix...
Wow that reminds me of my Great-Great Grandfathers house, he was born in 1813, from log cabin to something just like this.
Absolutely creepy! Guy probably died and the state took the property and couldn't sell it!
It will just rot away.
Love your channel!
"Raccoons really don't like national geographic"
Now there is a fixer upper ☺️
Chig you have watched far to many spooky movies ! 😳
Hello chiggs.i can hear you and I'm in England. Creepy home there. You got the voice for a horror movie. Thanks again chap..im going back to bed. 4.15am.
Scary! 😉 thanks Chigg 😁👍🏻
Awesome!
Very amazing video👏👏 ♥️♥️
Keep it up ♥️♥️
Love your videos ♥️♥️🤩🤩
I agree, His videos are awesome. The abandoned places I really love.
This was bloody ace.
Love to have a rummage.
Chigg you are brave!
Yay!! The Chig!! Makes Me Happy...
I would like to see a time lapse house abandonment video. It would take 30 years to produce, but I would love to see how an abandoned house evolves into this level of hot mess.
It's always kewl to explore abandoned homes, etc.
This was amazing
Awesome old house
It’s loud and clear Chigg!
You are so much fun!
How in the heck do you not scare yourself talking aloud to the camera like that? I would be so pumped and easily freaked if I did that. LOL!
Yes, let’s see what’s in those trucks. 😊
I would LOVE to find a place like that..So many TREASURES that need rescued..
Hello Aquachigger, I really enjoyed watching this video. I agree with everyone on here about how you should of looked in those old trunks and NECCO box from Boston. That NECCO box is very old and worth it to get out of there. They just went out of business last year in Boston Mass and that would be a awesome relic to bring here some how to me. It is so big though and would be a big thing to ship here to my town in Haverhill mass. I wish that could happen though before that place burns down or collapses. It wouldn't matter not taking anything from there either, no one would care and others have all ready done that. Get all of those older Aqua-blue Mason Jars out of there to and any interesting old bottles. Those Mason Jars are valuable and the zinc lid ones are nice to collect to. Man, if I was there in the daytime with you , we could get all of those and clean them up nice. You should seriously get those and maybe sell them as a souvenir from this video and explored home. I can't wait to see your next video of this home and other video's. Take care and be safe. Happy hunting to you.
You would be a great ghost story teller. Great video
Not a low end piano! Wow
Lot of people back in the old days built their house where the well would be maybe on a closed in back porch. They didn’t have to get out in the bad weather to get water then.
What part of MD are you from?
I'm in Walkersville 😊 MD is an amazing state! We have everything here! Cities, Suburbs, countryside, mountains, beaches, tons of historic locations,The Nations Capital, lakes, rivers and The Chesapeake Bay! 😍❤ all reachable in less than 3hrs. This doesn't include the beauty and history of our neighboring states; WV,VA,PA & DE!! We experience all 4 seasons exactly how they should be... Is perfect here in MD
Nice and creepy!!😱😱😱😊👍
wouldnt mind seeing more videos like this
Chigger you’d make a great scary movie writer now.
Even if there wasn't anything in them, show us what is in the trunk and boxes. We need that closure! The Necco is the company that makes those Necco Wafers and the original conversation hearts that are sooo good. I think that long-time business just sold or went out of business over the past year or so.
What I didn't understand is there were some modern heaters and other objects that would suggest that the electric was still on recently? I wonder how it became so trashed?
Great place. I hope to see it again. In depth.
