I love a good ramble with you Chigg, but even more so when you find Civil War era, and earlier, relics. This was a good hunt, awesome to see you out in your element. However, if I had seen signs in the tall grass, like that carcass drag you saw, I would have booked it out of there pronto. We have a plethora of cougars in our area, and you sure don't want to disturb one of them at its kill. We also have bears, and coyotes, none of which I would want to disturb either. You are one brave dude!
I had family that served on both sides during the Civil War, so seeing the things you find near or on the old battle sites, or in the camps, really makes it all that much more real to me. When I watch your video's, it transports me to another time, and in my minds eye I see the events of yesteryear, and how those things were left behind. Thanks for making it real. Have a great day!
if the artifacts are the remnants of one missing soldiers equipment, even though we might never know his name, or anything about him, he is now remembered after a fashion in the minds of everyone who watches this video.
Excellent as always! The idea of finding a buried piece of history is always exciting, even if it isn't in the best of conditions. The real unknown history and exciting part, lies with that officer that fell somewhere around there.
It’s so amazing that you can just go out and find things like that! To find bits of history is awesome!!
That thumb nail photo. LOL
Muray Da Hut 🤣
You constantly think about 🐓 don't you?
C Thompson more like 🍆
I was looking for this comment, convinced I couldn’t be the only one who noticed.
Nice sleuthing. A fallen soldier drifts downstream and his uniform and gear rot away. Sounds plausible. Enjoyable hunt and narration Chig.👍
Hey Agua, I really enjoy the way you present your videos with great enthusiasm and no ego bs. Y ou along with GMMD are my go to metal detecting likes to make me get out and search.I've got some very old sulphur mines with coins dating back as far as 1828, Mexican Reals. Lots of searching left to do.
I recommend you coming back to this spot. I would be happy to find anyone of those finds ! Great vid I appreciate you didn't go all Hollywood on us after making the big time!😉😉 Keep up the great work.
That thumbnail though! Heeeheehee, so cheeky!
Great video, just love watching what the Chig does best, hunting civil war relics in those cricks and rivers! Please keep that theme going. Cheers from Australia.
Nice little hunt and nice finds but truely layin in the grass was great!! I think I could nap there! Cheers!
Great finds Chigg, I was waiting for the rest of that soldier to turn up!
He's there somewhere God Rest his soul! Maybe his horse also!
@@chevychase3103 I was thinking the same given the pieces of wagon after a direct hit from a shell!
I got a major jurassic park vibe from your trek through the weeds.
@chalupa supreme
Don't go in to the long grass! **
That piece of iron with the hook on it at 10:43 looks like a Stock Knife for chopping and rough shaping wood .
You're the private eye of the detector world! Good tracking work Beau! You don't miss anything.🧐👍
"Do you see the way these frog tadpoles are all pointing towards that rock? Now look under that rock, hold your breath and see that piece of lead? Forget that, look past that and see that button from a Civil War uniform? I think we'll look around here a while longer" 😁😊
That's our Chigg!!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Erm. Erm. The erm thumbnail pic had me in stitches 🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Cigg goes wild with the thumb nail
...I know right it looks like a great big throbbing....well that's as far as I go with that.
I was hoping to learn about rusty penis?
Thanks for taking me along! I would never have laid in that tall grass. Chiggers would have eaten me alive. When my boys were little and we went to visit Grandma it was close to the Pedernales River (when it has water). So I take my little boys, we walk through 5’ tall Johnson grass as we call it here in Texas. They caught a few little perch and were the happiest boys in the world that day. Then a 250 mile ride home. ‘Bout the time we got home, I started itching. Feeling like a fool but still the itching got worse and worse then really bad! Went to drug store at lunch the next day to buy what I could find. Whatever I bought did not help a bit.!! Ended up going to doc next day for some higher power shot. Really- I counted 134 bites on one leg. Just one. Miserable. I’ve not set foot in weeds or grass since then. But it’s all I can think about when I watch your videos! Well, not all but real chiggers are right up there!
Way to go Chigg you are back in your zone ! Thanks
I like to think it was a wagon crash with soldiers and their superior. Maybe a stone bridge that gave when they crossed it. Awesome finds buddy. So fun to watch
Awesome adventure. Thank you for sharing. Happy Hunting.
My tracking skill increased from 0 to 1 today. Thanks Chig!
Dude you pulled it out in the end😁 Good guess about the dead soldier, but what about the wagon??? Interesting and worth checking out the bank in future👍👍👍 Need that sword 🗡 😁
Wow never see turkey eggs, and that they laid so many! That was fun!
Awesome hunt I believe there's some good relic's in the area.
You're going to get covered in Chigg's, Chigg!🤪
I think so , too!! A poor soldier's things that had died fighting....😌💫
Great hunt. Thanks for bringing us along. Hopefully you go back there soon. I hope there's more there.
Good stuff Chigg! Love the channel, love your sense of adventure and curiosity.
Exciting finds - has to be MOAR there - you'd think? Keep safe in all those storms!
You weren't afraid of velociraptors in that tall grass?
Really cool stuff! Thank you Chigg!
thanks for all the great adventures & videos!
Ticks and Snakes!
That thumbnail.....hold yer breathhhh!!!
Exciting finds!! Go back to that site!
Well look what crawled out of the woodwork - - again! Grsat seeing you Beau. And best of all, out in nature along a creek. Some pretty impressive finds too. Glad I could tag along. See you next time!
Awesome adventure!
Great video and I held my breath
I hunted since I was a kid and never came across Turkey eggs! Cool!
chigger ; I had to stop here at 14:47 when you pointed out something you had just spotted as you made your way back to your detector , you called it ' shoulder scale to a Civil War uniform , or an epaulette {sp. ? } ' . Now Chigg , I've said it before , and I'm going to say it once more , it's clear you know your stuff , I impressed . Of all those you can find using " Metal Detectors " on [ line ] , you are the one I follow the most , because of your knowledge , and you seem to have it in spades . Jack Ps. Happy hunting .
Great discoveries Chigg!
Excellent find!
I am impressed that you are still finding Civil War items. You must do a lot of research.♡
Awesome finds!!!
You are my favorite you tube channel to watch like how you take the time to explain everything
eyed pick reminds me of a flash hole cleaner, one to keep the fuse hole on cannon clear or similar tool if its not for cannon. The eye is to keep it at the ready around the neck
Awesome finds Mr. Chigg
Nice finds Chigg!!!
Great video man. It's cool seeing things in perspective, the videos where you don't find things and then the ones where you find cool stuff.
You certainly know how to draw people in. 😂🤣😂
So, when the Aquachigger lays in the tall grass, do the chiggers not bite him out of professional courtesy? Seems reasonable. More important, you’re out there in it, taking us along. Thank you, stay awesome.
Good call on the cartridge box liner..looks it to me. Looks like they shot it too
Your thumbnail is just.... 🤣 what kind of rivers got stuffs like that in it !?!
We really enjoyed seeing you back in the rivers and streams. That sure looks like an amazing spot to hunt. Cool artifacts so far. 😁
You found some good stuff Chigger. GOD BLESS.
But Chigg, that thumb nail!! 😂😂 that’s a massive window weight.
Good hunt Chigg thanks for fun videos
Sticking your hands in holes alone the stream you may come up with SNAPPING TURTLE !! Be careful Chigg.
Love your vids Chigg keep it up
I'm surprised Chigg would post such a suggestive picture!
What is suggestive about it ?
Awesome video ☺️
I'm so excited for you ! Exciting that somethings like that still exists... I'm addicted to your channel for years, the first metal detecting person I ever watched. You make everything interesting for flora to Fiona and relics. Keep up the great videos
Brilliant finds, loved the vid 👍😎🌴
those sheets of shale are also a great place to find fossils
You better check yourself for ticks after laying in that tall grass
Cincin 07, especially the lone star variety. Can end up with a red meat allergy which may be temporary or permanent. I had to go two years on fish or poultry only. Had to carry epipens and Benadryl.
@@hsbrooks holy cow dang sorry to hear that
It’s awsome seeing all these videos.
Another great video! Thanks for sharing and happy Hunting! ~ Gypsy
After watching this I feel like something big is on the horizon, did you find that cannon? A body? A camp! I can’t wait for the next video!!
Fabulous hunt.
Love your channel
Thank you
Awesome video thx
Wow man you hit a real hot spot there👍
several years ago , I took my in-laws down to the Shiloh battlefield. We meet a lady that had grown up there next to the battlefield. She said she and her brother used to fish the Tennessee river. She said there were mini balls everywhere. They would cot them across the middle of the bullet and make a sinker out of it
Thanks Beau
Very cool find.
i heard every word you said today , yea !!!!! cool video Chigger
Very informative and easy to watch... i went out and bought a magnet because of you videos!
That thumbnail be like BOW CHICKA WOW.
What a dig chigg that was the bees kneezz.thank you.
Wow Awesome finds! It amazes me that those relics were left untouched and hidden for all those years. What history! I sure hope you don't run into a bear! Watch out for poison ivy n such, I noticed marks on your arm. Right behind you when you start the video is (touch me not plant) that when you rub the sap on your skin, cures the poison, also prevents you from getting it, also a good but repellent. Something to keep in mind as you go walking in the woods n such. ☺Had to mention it, because just last night cooked me up a big batch to take with on my walks in the woods. I am so glad to see the wild turkeys are doing good! Here you couldn't find them for many years and now ppl are starting to see them again!
Skunk or not, you have always made your videos interesting and eminently watchable. I wanted to see you find that sword! Hope you can get back there soon. GL, HH, and travel safe.
Nice little spot you found. I hope you go back a do a little bank digging. I hope that bug that crawled under your collar didn't bite you while you were laying in the grass.
Goshers Chigg those are awesome finds! Are you going back?? Yes?? Have a fantastic week!😊😊😎😎
Love your videos
Hey Chigg, if you find the keys to the General Lee we can all drive out of there !!
I'll take the Hot Rod Lincoln!
Great Video and Very Informative!
Wagon crossover creek, broke axle. Spilled gold coins everywhere
OMG! This was an awesome video. Of course, I love all of your videos, but this one was excellent. What neat finds. I was blown away with the wheels and the cannon axle. I could just imagine someone trying to cross there on the rocks and tearing the wagon apart. And the civil war relics gave me cold chills. Not to mention that something had drug a deer carcass. I was afraid something would come out on you to take it back. LOL
enjoyed watching the video
Hey, Chig I am glad to see you using your gloves!! LOL
How do you manage to not get lost? So enjoy your videos Chig!
Hey man some cool finds there keep digging awesome but you're going to find some more stuff there I enjoyed the video thank you
Sweet little scabbard
Great video those where awsome finds chigger
Nice history Chigg
That wheel and axle broke from the weight of all the gold. Now you have to find where they hid it. Always a fun hut Chigg!
Cool finds man
I can't help but think that a wagon full of rocks went into that creek, maybe with an unfortunate driver at the reins.
probably punching holes in a tin bucket to make chicory coffee, hard times when the supplies couldn't get through ,
That little pick thing might have been one end of a handle of the kettle thing.
