Love these baskets. I have two orphan blocks frim 2018 block party 12.5 so cut corners 2.75 - can't find fractions on my tablet. I now have a fabulous basket made with something I was finding it difficult to find a use for. Stored my small scraps of interlining in it. Love it. Happy Anniversary - I am coming up to 50 this month.

Loved your video and even more, as a Pennsylvania girl, l loved listening to your Pa accent. Even I have sewn for many years, I picked up some good tips from you. I have a ham too that I have had since the 1960's It is a great tool. I live in Ohio now. It made me sad to hear how scared you were to go outside. God bless you.

Oh dear Jean, You will never know dear sister, how much your video helped me. I lost my husband to dementia 5 yrs. ago this month, having a few hours on my hands every weekend, left me with time to start a new hobby. I came across your channel and fell in love with you and your happy spirit instantly. I will be trying my hand at these baskets for our new expected great grandchild in May of this year. I am praying he/she will be born on my husbands birthday. Thank you so much. I love your generous spirit. I subscribed and am happy I did.

I was told about your video by a vendor at a craft show here in WV. I love to sew I am by no means as good as you. My momma taught me to hand quilt at 4 years old. I am #10 out of 11 children. I have to sisters and eight brothers. I was the only girl that took up sewing & crafting. We all know how to cook, bake and can. Anyway I am 56 years old now and have suffered strokes that started at the age of 45 from a rare condition. Because of my disability with my left hand I try to find projects that I can do . You gave such great instructions on your box bags that I am going to attempt to try and make one.
Sorry for such a long post being a shut in especially with this COVID I don't get much conversation with others except with my family.
    God Bless & stay safe🥰

I have watched several of these tutorials on making fabric baskets and enjoyed your explanations because they make sense to me. Some tutorials are just video and no explanation so I felt left hanging. I think some people make the corners without cutting first just folding and sewing and then after stitching cutting off the extra to get an easy access to stitch. I have cardboard galore since we just moved and left over moving boxes are good and stiff so I will try to make patterns, thanks for the tip. Love your batiks and baskets.

They are nice and up market looking, Jean, to the ones you see in the store that you see all the time. They go with the two hangings and are making studio look great. And I like that funky lamp. They really do look like something you would get in the better shops

Wonderful storage baskets, Jean. I don't have that stiffener but i have the thick interfacing with the adhesive and 1" vertical quilting will help. Yours look beautiful. Thank you! ♥️♥️♥️

    Happy Anniversary, Jean and Ian!
I feel the same way going out in public. I wear my mask and gloves. Being a woman of a certain age, being bundled up and hot flashes, I’m exhausted by the time I return home. I’m really becoming comfortable being home. I miss my children and grandchildren desperately and need their hugs. Bless you and yours. Stay healthy! Great tutorial.

I didn't realize just HOW much of a homebody I am...until I've HAD to be home 24/7 for the last 6 weeks!! It was too stressful to go out and I gladly retreated to the safety of my home!! LOL! We do miss our kids and grandbabies, but connect every day via video calls....however that is NOT THE SAME!! But other than that...simplifying has become a more real way of life! And that's not a bad thing! :) Stay safe and have a happy Sunday:) Sending hugs!

I love the little boxes. I need to make a few for fabric scraps. I've been busy making mask myself but have been taking a little break. I even needed a few days away from RUclips! LOL! That's the first time I've taken a few days in about 3 years! There's so much to learn, I'm afraid I'll miss something. I have no plans on doing it myself, but I even way h wood turning, nail videos and so much more! I think this learning thing I have is a sickness. HAHAHA. I hope you have a fantastic week Jean. God bless. 💗😊💗
