Ive had four different religious war experiences: 1: Bohemia takes over leadersip of the protestant league from Prussia (me) because my king dies leading to a regency, bohemia declares war and somehow lead us to a defeat, and have (no exaggeration) 2/3 of the peace deal me giving up provinces or releasing nations despite me single handedly having 30% war score 2: The protestants declare war immediately and wipe the floor with whats basically Austria and a few small german states 3: Most european majors join the catholic league, Bohemia declares war anyways and gets annihilated. 4: Bohemia declares war early and gets annihilated.
That's wise, indeed. That's how I basically vassalized half of italy. Seriously if not for this, I'd have to deal with both Austria and France to form Italy :D that was the best opportunity for me so far.

The ottomans are totally OP in the current state of the game, France used to steamroll everyone too but after some nerfs they don't hit like a tank though.
