This was Great. Russia and Prussia taking on the whole HRE, Ottomans coming in to save the day, the compete absence of Britian, killing Burgundy with a Netherlands to the face, and the fact that they dismantle the HRE and Prussia becomes Germany afterwards. My only complaint is that Sweden was Catholic. Gustavus Adolphus would like to have some words with you.
lol What Prussia? The only time Prussia appears is when I'm playing them. But whenever I play HRE countries, I ally the Emperor which is always Austria. Austria usually rivals Ottomans and France which becomes a shitstorm when a religious war happens.

The symbol you are mentioned belonged to the House of Burgundy. In 1.506, the duke of Burgundy became the king Felipe I of Castille. Since then, the main line of the dinasty ruled in Castille and Aragon (Hispanic Monarchy/Kingdom of Spain), so their members had the right to use a coat of arms who belonged to their own family.
Total War games aren't so realistic on the campaign map, but they nailed the break & rout pretty well (at least in the older games). Most battles were (and are) decided on one side retreating/routing - not being annihilated.

As an older title Total War player, it was absolutely beautiful to see a morale break and a rout.
