    I have never seen in over 40 yrs of fishing, a rod broken into 4 before!

    I loved this watch! Brought back so many grate memories with my father 🙂. Back when I wasa kid ! We only used mepps no 2 spinner with a inch off rag ! If the rag did not come off the hook straight, we did not catch! We also caught with the spinner tipped with red maggots! Hope this helps anyone who has ago . Had some cracking bass on the same method 👌 also sea trout! Low water was always the best time ..

      It was great to finally get out and test them side by side. I was very pleased with the results. Nice to have something that can just live in your bag for when the opportunity arises to fish, but you can't get any live worm.

    Ace video lads! Really enjoyed that. I fish a bit with a guy who only uses artificials on his spinner, he won’t even take real rag if I offer it to him! 😅 catches plenty too and some real beasts

    great content as always mate. have to get mr hand on the mullet, see how he does, never seen him try for them i dont think.
    learned alot from tge channel. i bought your bagnall bars on your recommendation. looking forward to using them.
    would like to see you do a d-vice video. i managed to pivk up two from my loval shop. rare as hens teeth now. thinking live whiting from a clean beach for cod

      Wayne and I have had many a session on the mullet. Always a good crack.
      I haven't used a DVice for probably 15 years or so. Really didn't like them to be honest! Not something I'm likely to go back to.

      Hi mate. My favourite time would be fishing the tide down to an evening low. So this time of year, maybe a low tide about 9pm, then fish 6pm to 9pm. I hope this helps.

      Well, I had to enlist some mercenaries to show me how to catch something...
      We're all using light braid with a short 2' fluorocarbon leader.

      I like to fish an evening tide down to low. So a low tide about 9pm, then fish 6ish until last light.

    Try dropping the tip down and to the side when playing the mullet stops them shaking the hook out so easily.

    Will you be stocking the hat you’re wearing in your shop? I’ve had a few items that are specific to your store and I find them excellent for very little money? I think the wife’s got me something from your shop that I’ve been trying to get hold of for months. But I’ve got to wait till Father’s Day.

      There are some monster thick lips in Christchurch harbour. However, very few are caught on this method.

      That’s a shimano Sephia eging rod. I abused that for 4 years. Tom gets it for 4 seconds and bang. 😂

      Glad you enjoyed it mate. Not sure about the free idea though! I think the colour of the spinner is down to personal confidence as you say. I know I can catch on pretty much any of the Mepps in my box, but I always pick out the same one first!

    Hi, excellent video, we had a fun time, but in my opinion you are not counting correctly, you should also count the fish that fell off the hook, since it attacked the bait, live or artificial, it doesn’t matter

    I’ve seen a few people using those fake worms and having success with them, but I don’t know where to dig for them 😂
