Great little tip on your last video kirk, about mixing up the bonding again ,to help it go off quicker. Never taught to do that till you said it.

Hmm.. don't know how that works - if I ask my wife an daughters for stuff, like cup of tea I get a different response 🤣🤣🤣

Hi Kirk. I did a re skim over more or less freshly badley plastered walls. I pva'd them twice even stuck a bit of leftover SBR in. Only did 2 walls and was struggling like hell through whole process, flattening the first coat troweling up, there were dark patches set in already. It was more or less set. Didn't have much to play with at all. So really struggled when trowelling up. It just went off like rocket fuel. I didn't even use dirt water or halftime. Do you know why this could be? Just I have PVA'd it again? What would you reccomend?

Old plaster can always be a nightmare to go over. If you have the time, I usually use neat sbr the night before and let it set all night, then in morning use a little pva/sbr mix over it

Getting the dinks out of trowels? ... If You're working near Groundworkers, they have steelcutter blades for cutting the Rebars ... They just chuck'em away when worn down .... Grab 'em, use the edge to clean and restore your steel floats/trowels .....
