Pocket 3 or iPhone 15 Pro?
Pocket 3 all day and night :)
I stated my comment already, yet for film making, I would recommend the iPhone for overall better IQ. If you can get a filter attached, even better for both.
Pocket is an excellent run and go and vloging camera, with nicer DOF.
You can created shots that are much harder to achieve with the iPhone (you would ironically need a phone to monitor the footage while you do it) namely if you attach it to a long stick and use the tracking to easily make dynamic crane like shots@@TheDreInDaHouse
Both😂
Nice video! Actually the background blur on pocket 3 is way more natural than on iphone. iphone's bokeh looks fake with some weird halo effect around the head, while the 1-inch sensor on pocket 3 delivers a true cinematic blur! 👍
The bokeh on the Pocket 3 is amazing!
What I REALLY wanna know. Is phone with DJI gimbal, vs pocket 3. Now which one is better? I mostly make shorts and the iPhone just makes it so simple it’s all on one device, but the pocket 3 is so damn cool I want one.
I think the iPhone is a win for me. I do photography & needed something to film a short video to give people a story of my day. I spent too much time editing photo and not looking forward to having to transfer more data to upload it to social media. If I film on the phone and still have cinema quality, I can do a quick edit and upload it hassle free. But thank you for the comparison. It’s an eye opener.
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. Appreciate you!
@@rogerseng I ended up getting the DJI. I got curious on the performance and . . . It is pretty good. 😳. ruclips.net/user/shorts5e5Ocy5vW5I?si=2nvuTsCeRR5TpY2m
Great video, like your color grading of that video too. I’m now a subscriber 💪
Thank you so much!
Pocket 3 does do background blur and it also has a product showcase mode.
Dope. I had no idea. I need to try it out. Thanks for the tip!
@@rogerseng you're welcome. Keep up the work.
i really like how you demonstrated the pan and tilt that was very easy to understand~
Gotta cover all the bases 😂
What camera are you using overhead?
Great video. Super helpful in deciding whether to get the osmo 3. BTW, nice jacket! Where from?
Great video, like your style mate! 👍
Thank you!
You have the pocket fitted the wrong way in it's case.
Screen should be facing inside the case for it's Protection.
Good point! Thank you.
Great content, thank you. I was really not in love with the reflections in the lens, I felt like I needed to clean my glasses all the time :-)
Super helpful, thank you!
Really good video ! 👏
Thank you!
Awesome ❤
That flair IS green....dun dun dun.
Your stuck at 20mm with the P3. Thats very limited
Embrace the flare
😂
Man you are so slick! Image looks awesome. You’re very engaging and make sense.
Grow your hair. Had tattoos all over. Make crazy sounds and talk about anything…. and you are Peter McKinon. NOT a compliment 😅😅😅. Stay as you are
Great video..Keep it up
Thank you!
the 10 bit on Iphone is very impractical for most of the people and difficult to shoot, you need external ssd and the files are gigantic
Yeah that part kind of makes osmo 3 win, although iPhone is (in your pocket already) you still need a lot of accessories to shoot log without having the 1tb model (which is like 1600$ lol
Not if you used the black magic app and set it to HEVC - APPLE LOG, and that reduces the file size to like 5% of normal log
I would say, that I find the iPhones final image better than the pocket, although it has larger sensor, yet the flexibility for grading and stretching the colors favors the iPhone. Great devices all around. In production for projects, I find the iPhone still a better tool for final IQ (color and DR) ,workflow (LumaFusion) and output. Pocket is certainly though, a better run and gun and nice DOF.
Also when it comes to files sizes and codecs, the iPhone also has it beat. Yes it requires extra storage attached. Yet when you’re using these tools on set or a shoot, there’s many ways around such issue without it being cumbersome.
The bad part is none of the DJI products are waterproof making them obsolete when out filming in the real world… thats the part i dont like, and thats why i keep my iphones on deck at all times.
iPhone 16 will make it obsolete 😂
