That old Jeep was the OG Gladiator. Things are tough looking when restored and built up.

thats awesome that u found a dash and the same color.....nice work ..you can fix the small crack by using a soidering iron it will melt a small piece of wire in the plastic....more of this type of video ...

Just a little tip. To repair that dashboard fascia that is cracked. One thing I have found that works very well is to use fiberglass backing. It works very well, and makes it almost impervious to breaking again. This also works for cracked plastic grills on vehicles. Good luck, and God bless John.

Dodge Durango 99 that blue put a 392 on it beautiful
I would paint the back of that dash with fiberglass resin to strengthen the plastic so it won't come apart

Dude I put a 06 dash in my 2nd gen with some trimming of plastic of course and a bit of frame but it looks good. Even kept the factory cluster and used jacuzzi hose for ac outlets works good.

Jon, I just wanted to let you know about that blue colored Durango you saw at the junk yard. That Durango is a rare & it is powered by a factory 5.9L with Kenne Bell supercharger. That model is disquinguish with those excessive rocker panel(larger driving lights & dual factory exhaust). You may wanna go back & pick it up the front lower rock with the large driving light kit & put it on your Hellkota.
It’s just a body kit. No supercharger or Shelby badging on it

The kicker to the 08 vs 09 swap is the 08 engines and drivetrains fit 2009 but are way easier to get because nobody knows that.
Can the salvage yard dash be encapsulated in fiberglass to reinforce it?

The pull n save here in az had 15 2nd gens in there yard but tryn to find a dash 💨!?
2nd gen durango used the same bolts and rear calipers
The 3rd gen spindles are the same for 2wd and 4wd
Do you have any recommendations for 3rs gen ram body mount bushings? I can't find any to save my life and I really need to get some.

11:28 I am trying to restore one of these! I got two of them. On is a manual 4 speed and the other is a 3 speed automatic. Both have their issues but I want to combine them and make one really good truck. Seeing this one makes me sad because these are really rare trucks that are very hard to come by.

You'd probably get lucky anf find everything you need if you were closer to notheast Mississippi. Mark Barnes Salvage yard has about an acre each of 2nd and 3rd gens.
That’s a Shelby Sp360 Durango. Not sure if it’s a real one or just the body kit. Came from the factory with a Kenne bell supercharged 5.9.
