I’d leave the sst original. I’ve thought about either swapping my 99 Durango or getting a Dakota for hellcat swap.
That's my grandson and I's favorite thing to do, going through boneyards to look at cars. It amazes me what people will "Junk", He just turned 12 and a couple weekends ago we bought him his first vehicle, a 1980 F100 Truck, it was sitting outside the fence where they sell the whole cars, Paid $800 for it. got it home checked the fluids threw some fresh gas and battery in it and the ole Strait 6 (300 CID) Engine fired right up. It needs a new seat and the transmission is trash but we have 4 years ish to fix it.
Its always fun to go to the junkyard and find things 😄👌🏽

I have always wanted a v8 swapped S10. Hoping to do that someday. Never did it before. But man, that Junk Yard yall went to. That's sweet. Nice place. Good prices, well organized. I need more 2nd gen parts myself. Well, 4th also, I want to try some upgrades.
I had considerd an S10 Extreme before I bought Dakota R/T. They had a great look to them 👍🏻
I had a 01 xtreme- was a fun truck- traded it for my 04 ram and never looked back but the xtreme definitely has a spot for me!

I used to love going to the junk yards ten years ago. They had a lot of FOXBODY Mustang's. They are all gone now or picked apart and nothing left.

Great video good for some laughs should do more like these lol.. i think u should keep the sst all sst an not modernize the front grill.. the bumper maybe as it dont really look much different lol.. but thats my unworthy 2 cents lol 😆 cheers

Either way, the sst will look sweet imo. BTW, a few of us here love gm as well! I'd dig an S10 ls swap. I'm planning on swapping mine hopefully sometime before I'm old and dead lol 😆

.use a parts store fan controller. I'm using a v6 electric fan from a 95 and it cools my 98 5.2 in the Southern summers with AC...in city traffic..

I had a 1997 s10 regular cab short bed that was the biggest turd I've ever owned. Nothing but a money pit, died at 130,000 and I ended up selling it for $1. I bought a 4th gen ram and haven't looked back.
