Well now I can't go to bed. It's 1 at night here in Sweden, but I have to see this before I sleep or I can't sleep. My adhd will keep me up wondering. Here we go again!
6 pm on Mexican border 👋
8:25 pm Oakvale, WV
1.46am in the uk now, and im the same up watching it. Not like i got work at 7.30 😂
You’re not alone!
I have Ford 2.3l turbo motor 3 of them,
Appreciate the love, man! That is one cool truck. Can't wait to see what you do with it.
Good to see one of the square body leaders here . Love your channel Robbie
Let's get more of that Oklahoma/Georgia connection growing!
Awesome to see both channels showing love! Good stuff guys!
Don't forget DD Speed Shop.
@@dickfitzwell1557 for sure dude
Absolutely love how genuine you are 🤣 the old power bait jar is one of the funniest things I've seen you do
That power bait jar bit really cracked me up
Second time in two years someone very close to me passed away on a Monday and your videos helped me get through it thank you. Puddin
FYI when I go to junk yard I take my old prescription bottles to put small screws and nuts in. You can’t have to many screws and nuts. The always come in handy. Enjoy your videos!
Yea dropped in a jar of vinegar cleans em up like new
I just take a small magnet tray. I use a backpack with the most common tools so it's easier to navigate the isles and debris and fairly light
Out of all the car/truck fixer uppers my husband watches you are the only one I enjoy too! Entertaining to watch 🎉
Mortske and Puddin' gets me through Mondays!
Amen, brother!
I sure look forward to them…
Unfortunately, there is nowhere near the humor over at Mortske's.
@@zerkfitting They're like pills to get you through the day, Mortske is the downer, Puddin is the upper haha
@@DeadReckon LOL! That's the way I see it too.
I just wanted to let you know that I admire what you do and how you take RUclips as a business is honorable thank you for everything you do for everybody in the content you provide
I love the square body's, long bed, short bed, they're all cool. But in my humble opinion (not that anyone asked), when it comes to slammed vehicles, I think the longer they are the better they look. Picture a four door, long bed dually anything. A mile long and down in the weeds is just freaking cool. Hot damn! those get my motor running. Kind of why I love the wagon so much, she's long and lowered, that's what this guy finds sexy. Just my 2 cents that probably isn't even worth that much. Keep doing what you're doing Puddin, I enjoy it all.
I usually prefer the long bed truck because it ends up getting worked hauling heavy gauge scrap steel and scrap metal and being used for hauling firewood and hauling any junkyard scores of parts or drivetrain I get ahold of so it usually is a 3/4 ton version of a gm square body 2wd and 4x4
@jefesmith I agree with you if it's a 4 door long bed being slammed but in my opinion a single cab long bed just looks weird like it's Unproportioned
@darrylcross9617 that's why so many companies started making so little of them except like white base models for work trucks. Being 6'5 I'll never own a single cab anything haha
Haha
@@darrylcross9617I think a single cab, long bed looks the most proportioned. Lol.
That's what nearly all trucks looked like for so long it just looks right too me.
Too each their own I guess. That's why they come in so many flavors.
I'm old school I guess. Idk. A slammed crew cab dually makes me want to throw up. 😂
The worst looking truck possible. (But we all got our own opinions. Lol)
Looking at an 85 long body, runs and drives for $1,200 and came across this video looking for information and Inspiration. This is the first video longer than a few
Minutes in length that I’ve been able to watch from beginning to end in a very long time. You’re a genuine person and kept me entertained. Definitely subbing.
This project has some potential Puddin if you forget about the body work the drag link , the floor pan ,windshield ,the dash . But then again you brought back the C10 back from the dead and now she is the shop queen. Nice to have connections in the savage yard business too even when the pickings are getting slimmer and slimmer. Be careful and stay safe my friend God love ya brother.
I made a lot of trips to get old cars put together just to get them home in the late sixties and early seventies you would of loved the thirties, forties , and fifties trucks ,coupes, and convertibles. They were cheap and great body styles. I am 75 now and your trips to get cars just reminds me how much love I still have for the hobby. Thanks kid.
For anyone that does have a classic car. That Buick he was talkin about is the perfect example of why we need classic car insurance and to ditch the regular insurance! They don't care about the classics!!
My parents had some kind of classic car insurance on their classics. They would appraise the cars every like 2 or 3 years and it was actually insured for the real value
@@waynerohde1036 Your parents were smart. Most people are not. They'll slap a historic plate on a car, drive it more than every day so they don't have to pay so much for registration, then get mad when the insurance totals it after a wreck for basically scrap price. Seen it over and over again over the years, but you can't tell a lot of people much of anything.
I had a '69 Chyanne Custom I rebuilt back in the '80s. I gave it to my stepson and he proceeded to run off the road, hit a culvert and broke the frame. I still cry about it. Love watching you restore those old Chevys. Let the faith Bro...
I see a lot of potential in not only this rig but a lot of other rusty vehicles I see in fields everywhere! 😁👍
To bad alot of people won't sell those rusty vehicles in fields
My grandfather told my uncle for 50 years he'd get around to an old model a. It's now a pile of chunks and he said a week before dying "oh that old thing? If you can find it you can try your hand at her"
@@waynerohde1036 yes, that is a shame!
Careful that is how you end up with a bunch of the vehicles that look like that I speak from experience lol
I always look at abandoned vehicles but most are too far gone sadly. A couple early 80s Datsun cars and trucks in my hometown that the owners won't sell. Old guys saying they are still going to restore them. One I've tried to get for 15 years, was mint then
I've been in a non automotive content mood for 2 weeks but I finally decided to watch some and you were the first one I decided to watch and it's brought me out of my mood
Sounds like something a spy would say!

On the down low..
With as much as you have to switch/ borrow wheels and tires from vehicle to vehicle have you ever considered picking up a set of those Guniwheel universal wheel/tire rollers? They seem like a pretty nifty thing to have around when you’re moving a lot of different project vehicles around, you don’t have to worry about flats and they’d save a bunch of space over storing all kinda different tires and wheels
For what they are, they're priced to high. I could justify it if I had a business
Puddin', thank you for showing us that it doesn't have to be hard to transform a halfway decent junkyard truck into great project!
I see an LMC trucks catalog in the future. I loved the way they break each section up with a blow up of each section. I could figure out what was missing and use the pricing to see if it was much cheaper somewhere else. My old 93 was a LMC advertisement.
PIMP DOWN ,!, Hey man Shawn on 187 customs gave you a shout out on their live show today. Glad they did cause I like this channel my friend. Oklahoma guys must look after 1 another. Dammit man it’s hard out there for a PIMP. 😂
For 35 minutes & I've been shaking my head wondering why you're going through all those trouble. I'm from upstate New York and that truck is actually more rusted than I've seen at the "U-Pull It's". I can't wait to see what you do to this truck. It will definitely be educational & most importantly hilarious!. 🤣🐾🐾🐾
You can build a truck for under 5k, an should be worth 10, 15, k... Lol
..
There's something really satisfying about watching you take all the best parts from the junkyard to make a FrankenChevy.
Rad video as always puddin 🤙🏼
I love that color its uncommon. Great score . Unbelievable price gosh darn . Squares go for so much more around me . That would be 1k+ for sure . Backyard was looking nice good on you man . Im sure a fence is coming soon . Thanks for sharing dood
Hi Puddin,
I am your biggest fan in Germany😂.
Your videos ended up bying a C10 Longbed from 1977 with I think something like 400 horses under hood. I just got it yesterday.
Thanks for your really great content every week.
Greetings from Germany
Raloh 👋👍
Man didn't even want the truck and ended up building it. If your nick name ain't Dr. Frankenstein with all the parts you cobbled together in that yard it better be Puddin.
B c 070😊
Nice work! Always wondered who Mortske was talking about when he referred to puddin.
Your my favorite tuber hands down bro bro keeps me happy every Monday thanks!!!!
Look at the sticker on the front clip of the truck under the hood. Was that truck diesel or gas from factory?
Puddin, that pimp down clip puts me in tears every time. It is by far and away my favorite clip from you
Yall poke fun but about 20ish years ago when I lived in OK there was a feller with a 76 Caprice donk done up in full John Deere G&Y with spinners and lettered up. Heck that sweet ride might still be around there somewhere's. Cheers buddy!
Pimp down! 😂 that clip gets me every time…. the leg twitch at the end. How good 😂
Where can i find it?
Pimp Down! 😂😂 Had me rollin. Man, i enjoy your videos dude! Glad i found your channels. Glad to support you. Keep up the great work ma man.
Somebody has to save them. An it's certainly more cost efficient than a new rig. Thanks for another good Monday Puddin.
Usually less headaches too, to many sensors and computers now
@j.sargent9172 agreed. I just picked up a little dakota sport 2.5 4 banger. Needs a head gasket and a fuel pump. Maybe 2 days an will be right an ready to roll.
I’ve mostly built comp style crawlers. Class one class two class 2.5. But recently I took a bunch of extra parts and I built a scale tow truck with all homemade parts. This is gonna be my new trail truck. And I had a blast building this rig. Wished I could post a picture.
Good Evening Puddin! Enjoyed spending the day with you getting John Deere green!!! God Bless you man!!!
I was doom scrolling a few hours back, and one of your first videos popped up from about 5 years ago. You were Frenching headlights. It's amazing to see the change in your comfort in front of the camera
Hands down the best auto channel on RUclips. Thanks for a great video and making me laugh!
Great video, great content. Smelling that jar I almost spit my coffee all over the screen ha ha ha ha. Can't wait to see what you do with that baby. Come On!
Again Puddin you knocked out another awesome video as always your content is unbelievable makes a good Monday night show to watch brings a person to life watching and laughing as you work on the junk yard rig 😀💪🏻👍🏻
On a lot of the older vehicles. On the ignition switch ,you have a small hole on side are under, no bigger than a needle; you can put a paper clip are needle in and push and pop the ignition switch out!🤔
My 77 firebird had the setup .I found out after I broke the switch out. Little little hole you can't really see, unless you know about it.
Uh oh. This is how it starts.
Once you get one set up all nice you realize how great they are and they start multiply.
I love squares.
Have had a ton of em.
Yay! I’d watch another long bed to short bed conversion. Yeah it’s good to save long beds from going to scrap, but I think many would agree you improve the value of the truck by converting to short bed. Long beds are the red headed stepchild that people send to scrap when they don’t run.
I don’t think you have ever missed a main channel episode. I hope everything is ok . 😊
Came here to say that. Sending good thoughts to Oklahoma.
Puddin, I just did the shots it wasn’t painful but the fluid was thick like cold 90 weight
He posted on his Instagram he's ok
Thanks man. I was just a little concerned too. Always hope for the best, but unusual not to see a video.@@classiccarguy123
I came back here to do the same... Cheers!
i got a 1979 c20 gmc but i think it was painted one time. long bed and 4 speed granny with cherry bombs! i need to fix the head gasket i think...
I’m not sure that good grill you pulled is actually “missing” that cross piece on top.. all of them I’ve seen are missing there so you can release the hood @Puddin.. Stay blessed!! Love it!!
Puddin, I think, as an old truck enthusiast, that every long box should be cut down to a short box. Keep on cutting them up. We all support you.
Hot Damn It's Time For Another One 🤘
Would look great if you put chrome rain guards and bug screen front hood to green and brown pateanarain guard on passanger and drivet side door. Also mudd flats on back with chrome woman on them just saying if your interested, I know your an airforce veteran but I am a navy veteran also... Thank you for your service and thanks for your videos.....
Great video. Thanks for encouraging us to start a project. One day …
Excellent video Puddin :) also yes that 1979 Chevrolet C10 Custom Deluxe pickup hopefully see more on fix up in future and cool trucks to! My late Uncles had green truck one was 1955 Fargo 1 ton and other had 1979 GMC High Series 25 3,/4 ton both did lots farm work over years! One uncle 1955 Fargo been restored and seen in person at local vechile shows!
Hell yeah man, I dig the hell out of the squarebody content.
First video of yours I have seen and now I’m going down the rabbit hole
Hope all is well.
I highly suggest you keep this C10 a long bed. My reasons; lots of young men and women entering the car repair/resto hobby may not have the skills to do a frame shortening. Older car guys/lady's would prefer keeping the truck a long bed. You could make this truck into a high boy 2 wheel drive truck with a front mounted winch. That would be a cool truck project. But Puddin, in the end it's your decision what you'll do with your truck. You're a good guy Puddin, cant wait for the next installment of the Green Chili Long Bed!!!! lol.
Happy you got another truck!!! Should probably get a few more at 400/500-1000 price point! Stack and pack’em!
Great video as always, just a tip for you now. Always carry a bottle of asprin and tums in your work truck and daily cars.
Buddy I'd pass on that one! It needs everything,it looks like more work than it's worth!
Ya agree, its complete junk
Parts are cheap...
@@user-427.commodoreexactly what I was thinking. I would not pass on it either. That color is not common
I went to St. Louis a month ago and got some C10 floor trim. Looked over all those trucks and they are basically shells with very few good parts. Wanted to give you guys a heads up your not missing out on much.
No vid this week?
That's what I'm wondering. No biggie if he took a week off. I just don't want to wear out my refresh button. 😂
Came here to ask the same
I've been looking on his Facebook for an update but nothing yet, it's unusual to not hear something by now
Brown el Camino right next too the truck also ?
So many parts sir ! Check too see if they have a 1977/1979 Chevy caprice classic 2 door ? I need a front grill ?
I bet a few square body builds this year would get the channel over 250k! Gonna have to start planning for that
That conquista has a posi rear end I believe. That was the top of the line Camino. But I gotta say Joe diffie is one rough machine. Can't wait to see it finished
I don’t get people whining about cutting 8 foot beds, who cares there’s a million of them out there. They certainly aren’t rare and won’t be anytime soon.
Problem is some people don’t live by em or know of it and no one post it online so people think that there 1 in a million to come by
Love the square at the beginning of the video. Are those 15” rims, also what tires are you running I love the white walls
This kind of video is really fun to watch, never know whats coming next,Slick 50 is always a PLUS............................................................Fort Worth,Tx
I agree with you about steel rims and hubcaps but those rims you put on the shortened looked really good just get taller tires and you would have a nice looking squarebody
Puddin, if you look up gm window molding clip studs. I believe they will work to hold the clips for the belt trim on this c10.
Keep it up! Really enjoy your channel. Happy Monday! 🤘
I bet Slick would love to craft his sheet metal skills on that truck
To me, has to be the best RUclipsr on. Really hope you don’t stop the second channel. But I understand, but thought I would write a comment and wish you and your family nothing but the best for the new year and lots of happiness and health!!!
You are absolutely correct 💯 how far to the junkyard on tires and wheels and clean, it looks like a decent project. I absolutely love your can do attitude 💪 keep up the great work and the awesome content 👍✌️🇺🇲
Baby blue c10 behind you. It looks good
As soon as I saw the thumbnail I thought about those bed sides!!! would they work with the short chassis or are they for a long wheel base? Patina short bedside would be pretty cool.
I love how you just roll up to a junkyard and start rebuilding your truck on site. Classic!. All kidding aside, pretty cool!
It's nice watching theses kind of videos because I'm working on my grandpa's 70 c10 so this keep me hype.
Got my OG shirt this past Saturday. Love the shirt, THANKS! Kind of miss the old shop though. With that being said, I really like your new shop even better! Great video!
Just a resto tip if you want to take the yellowing off those hard to find marker lights get you some salon care 50 cover the lens entirely wrap it in cellophane wrap and set in the sun and it take out the yellowing.
I love everything you do Puddin’ you bring a lot of joy to this dark and soggy corner of the UK. Thank you Sir!
Awesome video. I actually had a new 1980 Custom Deluxe with all the bells and whistles with the short bed. Loved that truck and when you get done with this one it will be awesome as well.
I discovered your channel a few months back and can honestly say I’m your new biggest fan. I find your videos completely entertaining and you manage to teach me a thing or two from time to time. The PMA tattoo on your hand…positive mental attitude?
Hey puddin! SWB "short wide bed ". I always called it a "short wheel base". Either way keep up with the old school trucks.... Some 15's color matched to the truck color, then a shiney beauty ring. Sweeeeeet! .
@Puddin it's called PB Blaster for a reason.. its short for Probably Broken Blaster... because the blaster on the can doesn't work most of the time 🤣🤣🤣
Puddin Time y’all. Always great seeing a Puddin 😂.video. Can’t wait to see more updates and projects and many more videos soon. Fab on. Weld on. Keep Making. God bless.
That was very interesting 🤔 content guys. Always look forward to Monday for some time with Puddin 😅. Thanks 👍 for sharing.
Hey Puddin!!! I got my OG t-shirt today and I love love love it and I'm gonna proudly wear it!!! Nice quality shirt and comfy too!! Thanks!!!
Please please pretty please do a rebuild on this square!! It will look AWESOME when you put your artistic Ninja moves on it. Everybody and their brother will tune in and watch ..... just like I'm doing tonight. Keep up the great work my friend.
I think he aughta sell it to you and not waste time on this POS just for that great patina.
Man oh Man I'm B.S.'n again ,I got my O.G. shirt today ,I was scared to wear it down town that I might get mugged from the bling on that logo , I am beyond lov'n and excited about how it looks! You out did yourself and the crew that printed it along with your wonderful team at home put out one outstanding tshirt Puddin.
I did mention when u looking at that green truck in the junkyard video weeks ago it will match ur utility boxes u had stored.. now that patina green truck and blue hood.. with the green utility boxes with spots of blue u know they r meant to b !!! Baby💪🏼
I have never seen an el Camino on steelies but wow does that one look really good
First truck was a 76 3/4 ton strong 350 paid 750$ and worked the snot out of hauling cedar bolts ,never left me stranded. CHEVY tuff 😊
Another great save thanks to Puddins Fab shop definitely worth saving. Let’s try to save them all. Love your channel.
now this is cool . im not into junk yard stuff anymore . but i like how you went to the junk yard and build a dang near complete truck from other parts around the junk yard it was in . plus i like your attitude i laugh a lot at your videos
Nice video puddin question Is it a Silverado or a custom deluxe?
Just a thought. In stead of cutting her up. Fixer up like a first truck father son budget. Do the safty but just fix the holes used drive train as many used parts as possible. Think that may be relatable to alot of people.
I've been living with back issues since I was 13 ( currently I'm 60) I've had 5 back surgeries and I'm scheduled to have a spinal cord stimulator installed this Thursday. Sorry your in so much pain I can relate. I find it funny you mentioned drifting. I'm building a Ratty 1/25th scale 84 GMC Short bed drift truck. I have the interior finished and the bed is done. But due to surgery on my hand all my builds are on hold.
My brother-in-law had a 77 K10 in that color green. Gotta love an old Chevy. Great videos!
Hey pudding great 👌 and funny video for this truck.cant wait for the next one have u got a motor and box for it My be LS1.the blue c 10 were u got the Bonnet look not to bad.😅 all the best for the new year take care hi 👋 from Australia.
Don't worry about the bent up bed..... Pull out those service bed side's and build a short bed tool rig like you mentioned at the start of the episode 😁😁😁 and haul the service trailer behind it if need be 😏
Puddin, Hey wanted to let you know I have been a fan of PB BLAST for a long time, I don't think there is a better lubricater, penetrator, accelerator, than it, but since they went to that new adjusterator, nozzle I've almost quit using it because I was only getting less than half of product out and was having to put hole in can and put it in spray bottle... But I found the trick to it before you give up on it turn it up at least halfway 2/3 or higher is best but don't turn it up and down just SET IT AND FORGET IT.... But if you keep it turned up from the first time you use it and leave it I found u get all of it out again... Cause if you keep it turned down you use all the air pressure out of can before you actually use all the liquid,, and even though you might use more than you want you can never have to much LUBRICATION FOR ANY SITUATION,,,, I EXPECT FREE MERCH WHEN YOU USE THAT SAYING. (YOU CAN NEVER HAVE TO MUCH LUBRICATION FOR ANY SITCHEEASIAN) HAHA .... HOPE THIS HELPS SOME OF YOUS....
Awesome build series
Love all the hard work
Why not get a drag link at the yard ?
You went to Browne junk yard. They had two torino gt's how bad were they.? If you remember ? Thanks. We did find a good ih truck like yours. If interested let me know I could find out more. Sad part it's on pa/ ny line straight up from Harrisburg pa.
Everybody loves those square bodies but l bought a new 85 GMC sierra grande 3500hd with a 454v8 that had to be returned under the lemon law in Tx. The motor was gutless and a Ford 3/4 pulled my gooseneck better for my pool and pond business. l went thru 10 new 3/4 to 1 ton trucks in 22 years and that GMC and a Chevy c30 van were the two worst. lts crazy how theyre so popular now. Love the channel. Keep shootin from hip.
