Well now I can't go to bed. It's 1 at night here in Sweden, but I have to see this before I sleep or I can't sleep. My adhd will keep me up wondering. Here we go again!
Looking at an 85 long body, runs and drives for $1,200 and came across this video looking for information and Inspiration. This is the first video longer than a few Minutes in length that I’ve been able to watch from beginning to end in a very long time. You’re a genuine person and kept me entertained. Definitely subbing.
I love the square body's, long bed, short bed, they're all cool. But in my humble opinion (not that anyone asked), when it comes to slammed vehicles, I think the longer they are the better they look. Picture a four door, long bed dually anything. A mile long and down in the weeds is just freaking cool. Hot damn! those get my motor running. Kind of why I love the wagon so much, she's long and lowered, that's what this guy finds sexy. Just my 2 cents that probably isn't even worth that much. Keep doing what you're doing Puddin, I enjoy it all.
I usually prefer the long bed truck because it ends up getting worked hauling heavy gauge scrap steel and scrap metal and being used for hauling firewood and hauling any junkyard scores of parts or drivetrain I get ahold of so it usually is a 3/4 ton version of a gm square body 2wd and 4x4
@darrylcross9617 that's why so many companies started making so little of them except like white base models for work trucks. Being 6'5 I'll never own a single cab anything haha
I made a lot of trips to get old cars put together just to get them home in the late sixties and early seventies you would of loved the thirties, forties , and fifties trucks ,coupes, and convertibles. They were cheap and great body styles. I am 75 now and your trips to get cars just reminds me how much love I still have for the hobby. Thanks kid.
For anyone that does have a classic car. That Buick he was talkin about is the perfect example of why we need classic car insurance and to ditch the regular insurance! They don't care about the classics!!
My parents had some kind of classic car insurance on their classics. They would appraise the cars every like 2 or 3 years and it was actually insured for the real value
@@waynerohde1036 Your parents were smart. Most people are not. They'll slap a historic plate on a car, drive it more than every day so they don't have to pay so much for registration, then get mad when the insurance totals it after a wreck for basically scrap price. Seen it over and over again over the years, but you can't tell a lot of people much of anything.
FYI when I go to junk yard I take my old prescription bottles to put small screws and nuts in. You can’t have to many screws and nuts. The always come in handy. Enjoy your videos!
My grandfather told my uncle for 50 years he'd get around to an old model a. It's now a pile of chunks and he said a week before dying "oh that old thing? If you can find it you can try your hand at her"
I always look at abandoned vehicles but most are too far gone sadly. A couple early 80s Datsun cars and trucks in my hometown that the owners won't sell. Old guys saying they are still going to restore them. One I've tried to get for 15 years, was mint then
I've been in a non automotive content mood for 2 weeks but I finally decided to watch some and you were the first one I decided to watch and it's brought me out of my mood
This project has some potential Puddin if you forget about the body work the drag link , the floor pan ,windshield ,the dash . But then again you brought back the C10 back from the dead and now she is the shop queen. Nice to have connections in the savage yard business too even when the pickings are getting slimmer and slimmer. Be careful and stay safe my friend God love ya brother.
I just wanted to let you know that I admire what you do and how you take RUclips as a business is honorable thank you for everything you do for everybody in the content you provide
Man didn't even want the truck and ended up building it. If your nick name ain't Dr. Frankenstein with all the parts you cobbled together in that yard it better be Puddin.

I see an LMC trucks catalog in the future. I loved the way they break each section up with a blow up of each section. I could figure out what was missing and use the pricing to see if it was much cheaper somewhere else. My old 93 was a LMC advertisement.
For 35 minutes & I've been shaking my head wondering why you're going through all those trouble. I'm from upstate New York and that truck is actually more rusted than I've seen at the "U-Pull It's". I can't wait to see what you do to this truck. It will definitely be educational & most importantly hilarious!. 🤣🐾🐾🐾
I'm dying here 😂, watching you take the lug nuts off all the trucks in the yard. Some guy is going to be like wtf lol.. Puddin must of rolled through... Lol. Except that one, "well that socket is a part of that lug nut now." 🤣
With as much as you have to switch/ borrow wheels and tires from vehicle to vehicle have you ever considered picking up a set of those Guniwheel universal wheel/tire rollers? They seem like a pretty nifty thing to have around when you’re moving a lot of different project vehicles around, you don’t have to worry about flats and they’d save a bunch of space over storing all kinda different tires and wheels
Yay! I’d watch another long bed to short bed conversion. Yeah it’s good to save long beds from going to scrap, but I think many would agree you improve the value of the truck by converting to short bed. Long beds are the red headed stepchild that people send to scrap when they don’t run.
Again Puddin you knocked out another awesome video as always your content is unbelievable makes a good Monday night show to watch brings a person to life watching and laughing as you work on the junk yard rig 😀💪🏻👍🏻
