Start small and state the overall goal, let them take the initiative on how to solve it, get buy-in by giving ownership (stop trying to own everything!), let them create the plan and ask earnest questions, when it's 80% good - GO! We lead, they win. Heck yeah

    i don't have a problem with plans.
i have a problem with format.
    format is always the same.
    intel-tools-team-action-followup-recordrecordrecord.
loss of format means chaos anytime one teammember swaps out work with another.
    jim works tuesdays.
    jim is left handed.
jim didn't record his last step.
    jim's off next week.
bill has to start from zero to catch up to where jim left off.
but as you said - "buy in"!
