    I bought my FPC for steel challenge. Which is why S&W made it. To compete with other carbines in steel challenge. I put a Romeo 5 red dot, front and rear sights, a Magpul front grip and some rails on mine. Warning what people think is the slide or bolt release isnt a release. Its just a slide lock The bolt will catch your fingers if you try to use it. So only use it if you have to. Also May i suggest fully disassembling it and oiling it before you shoot it. Its a HUUUGE difference. I love mine. Its so freaking smooth. Very little recoil. And fun. I dont like the mag releases levers on the rear storage or charging handle. The charging handle is kinda rough feeling even after oiling. I wish they would upgrade the charging handle and bring out some performance parts out for it. If they did. It would be an unstoppable little carbine. I think its already better than the sub 2k and the others.

      I stripped it down in this video to clean and oil it.

    A couple of things. One this gun does not come lubed. You are going to need to oil it up before you use it. Two, with the magazine holder. You can access both magazines from one side or the other by picking up or pushing down. This way it’s ambidextrous. if you’re left-handed, you could push down with your index finger or pick up the same side with your index finger to access either of the clips. It seems to me that most people think it just pushes down. Each side can be pushed up or down. Do not need to click the opposite side. You could access both from one side or the other. It really makes access to the magazines super simple. The trigger on this is absolutely insane. Super smooth. Smith and Wesson also makes a “M&P 2.0 Officer Tactical Range Bag” that is insane. One of the bags inside allows you to put the FPC folded in it perfectly. Also INSIDE: 2 INSIDE FULL LENGTH ACCESSORY POCKETS, INCLUDES 2 PADDED, ZIPPERED SINGLE HANDGUN CASES: 13.5” X 9.5”, INTERNAL PADDED AMMO BAG WITH 2 ZIPPERED SIDE POCKETS, 2 ADJUSTABLE HOOK AND LOOP DIVIDING WALLS, 2 SETS OF VERTICAL ACCESSORY POUCHES, CLIP ON NYLON BRASS HOLDER WITH CINCH DOWN CLOSURE
    OUTSIDE: ADJUSTABLE 2” WIDE PADDED CARRYING STRAP WITH HEAVY DUTY SPRING CLIP BUCKETS, DUAL ZIPPERED OPENING FOR ACCESS TO THE MAIN STORAGE AREA, REINFORCED WRAPAROUND NYLON CARRYING HANDLES WITH RUBBER FOOT SKIDS ON THE BOTTOM, INTERNAL DIMENSIONS OF MAIN COMPARTMENT: APPROXIMATELY 18” WIDTH X 10” HEIGHT X 10” DEEP, EXTERNAL DIMENSIONS: 22” WIDTH X 14” HEIGHT, 10.5” DEEP.
    PS; The HOLOSUN HE530-RD works in sane with it. And if you want to up-it X3 you can add a HOLOSUN Magnifier.
    Sorry about such a long comment. It’s just that this is a quantum leap in folding pistol carbines and that totally stokes me. LOL
    That being said. Thanks for the video. It was quite awesome. I liked and subscribed. I hope you have fun with this one and can’t wait to see your next video.

      Jesus, do you work for S&W? If not you should. Um.... thank you though for watching and taking the time to comment in such detail. I do have a quick range video I made this past Sunday. Couldn't do much because the wind was insane. I figured out the magazine issue pretty quick. Wasn't difficult. I did speak on that in the video. The trigger is pretty good. I wouldn't say great but real good.

      @@manyo365 HAHAHAHAHAHA! I know, I know. And I’m sorry about the comment. I have just been waiting for something like this from Smith & Wesson for so long, and seeing that it was in their M & P 2.0 series, lol you get the point. So I just did a lot of studying and looking into it. And tinkering with mine and then accessorizing lol. I guess sometimes paying attention could be annoying for others. Lol I apologize.

      @@DigitalMartyr017 definitely take it apart and lube it up ASAP. I would definitely do that before wearing it in. and for sure, the more you mess around with it obviously the more you’re going to learn. If you run into anything cool that you’ve learned, let me know. 🍻🤙🏼🫡🏴‍☠️🪖🫵🏽

    Just got this for my 40th birthday, the mags work with my M&P 9mm which is really nice since they’re so expensive. Make sure you’re pulling the charging handle to release from the mlock eventually it’ll ware out and not lock

      Yeah the mags were a bonus. I have the 2.0 metal also so it just added to my mag collection. I figured out the charging handle issue and some other things about the rifle. I have another video up from my 1st range trip with it if you feel like checking it out.

    What’s better greasing it or oiling it? Thanks in advance.

    • @manyo365
      @manyo365  Год назад +1

      I do both. I lightly oil everything and then grease anywhere that metal contacts metal and moves constantly. I do the same with my pistols.
