If you follow the 2nd channel, its honestly insane how much work goes into a 2 second recap clip. Like "And then we just poured this wall" was almost a whole 30mins of a 2nd channel video! Haha. Puts in perspective how massive this project actually is.
I'm also impressed at how the selection of footage and topics allows this video to feel fresh and interesting even if you've been following the progress on the 2nd channel!
I don't know if anybody else feels the same but I cannot even express how much joy these updates actually bring me. Watching you and the skilled Tom Lamb on video chat with the digger was so funny!
I've been following you since that first Wall of Death video. For a long time I assumed Charlotte was a saint. After watching this episode it became clear to me that your lovely wife is a willing partner in your exquisite madness. Kudos to you Charlotte and of course my favorite brilliant madman. Thanks for all the fun.
Dude the music in your videos is so great, never stop doing that! There is so much real music out there and everyone on RUclips uses the same 3 stock songs. Thank you colin for supporting music since always!
yeah I was gonna say to that this part's selection was spot on, I even added some of them to my collection, and TIL that there is a genre called Garage Rock :DDD kinda makes sense Colin started in a garage, paired it with garage rock music, BAAM, Colin style! :P he kinda made it his own.
Came here to say pretty much the same thing. Love the music on this edit. I've always loved the punk selection on Colin's videos, but I think the dance-punk selection worked really well in this video. Also good to see the Mrs. getting dirty 😜
It is most encouraging to see the lovely and capable Madame Furze, around the jobsite! Which begs the question- has she always been in the background, and unwilling to be on camera? Or has she realized that, if she wants her house back, she'd better push the project forward? Either way, good job, Ms. Furze!
Children reach the age when they can be instructed not to run into danger which really frees up the parenting team. When they are very young you've always got to keep an eye on them so they don't ...well... off themselves. So that means that Lady Furze doesn't have to be playing defensive when Lord furze is setting fire to something or other. That is my guess.
When the entire project is done, this needs to be made into a full feature length movie with an epic trailer and even maybe made in to a climactic two parter.
Colin... Doing stuff, is a BINGE WATCH for the masses. So much education, humour, danger and yet so thoroughly enjoyable on every level. Than you Colin, and TEAM, for bring much needed FAB entertainment. Cheers to all here :)

I do appreciate how you've edited the videos and curated the content so even though I've been watching the progress on the second channel, this still feels fresh and interesting.
What a fantastic update and great to see the project move on so much. The fact its been so few people involved in doing this makes it an even more amazing build! Looking forward to the next update, Colin.
Idea for wall with the window. You could take photos of the wall of rock and dirt, then use the images to vinyl wrap that whole wall. That way, you can see the original rock wall and still concrete it up for maximum structural integrity.
Yes but then you have to think about lighting to see it, and if there are any gaps between the epoxy and the concrete, then moisture could get in. If you finish digging out for the final wall, then take perpendicular photos of the wall and print on vinyl. Then you have the wall steelled and concreted like the others, but vinyl wrapped with the images of the wall. Full structural integrity and easier to see the rocks and dirt behind the wall. Kind of like a wall papered feature wall in a house. And you can hang things off the wall if desired.
Agreed but I am also loving Sarah'n'Tuned's 1974 Celica restore, another long form slow burn project with amazing attention to detail. I used to have two of the same model Celica, wish I still did.

The main thing is it's real and it's what you guys are doing, and you two are hilarious. I hope you two both win awards on the next RUclips or social media awards show. Tom don't worry you'll win next year. You got this! Thanks guys for all you've done over the years. You've got me inspired to do some RUclips myself while I'm here refurbishing a farm in Iceland. If it happens I'll definitely let you all know Thanks for all the inspiration.

Just named as they’re described and manufactured. Rolled. (Although roll, squish, compress, roll, squish, compress etc etc would be more descriptive haha)
After all that I think your Mrs deserves a really good holiday Colin. As always Tom Lamb is the superman when it comes to digger driving!!! Super video.
You definitely now need either an elevator or a nice staircase up into the house. The ladder is fine for you , but Mrs Furze and Grandma Furze deserve something a bit more genteel... 😇
Yeah I think a staircase of some sort is the best way and a way to really integrate it into the house. Like I feel like going up and down a ladder will be a bit of a chore and off putting to go down there, different to carry a cuppa or a tray etc. A staircase will bring it all together and make it feel like a 3 story house rather than feeling like a 2 story with a secret bunker
Next project is to build a full basement under your house with wine cellar, snooker table and full staircase 👍 Then your neighbour will ask you to build him one too 😂
This could be the norm on a new house build. A little bit of underground space for a guest room, games room etc. doesn’t affect the footprint of the house, doesn’t block anyone’s light etc. it’s a win-win.
One day deep into the future maybe 200 years from now your kids, kids , kids decide to move and someone comes to view this house before they buy it will be in utter shock, disbelief, and amazement!!! I couldn't imagine this could be any better then it is so Jealous! Good for you!
This is just the best,I’m a 71 year old man who would love to own this.can you imagine the estate agent showing prospective buyers around and trying to explain why it’s the most expensive house on the estate.👍🇬🇧
if you follow him on his second channel, you'd know that the start of this video was shot at the beginning of this year. This is a compilation of all what happened in 2024 so far on this project.
His home town is widely reported in the public domain in news articles and I'm sure he gets uninvited visitors interested in his project that he doesn't show in his content so not to encourage more. I was bored a few years ago and found the house on Google Earth just from the name of the town. The back garden even has a photo pin drop labelled 'Underground Bunker' on Google Maps. He's not controversial or unpleasant and comes across as a likable bloke so anyone motivated enough to turn up unannounced aren't likely to have any ill will towards him or his property. He takes precautions like taping over his house number when filming to minimise unwanted attention and when he slips up showing street signs the majority of viewers aren't as eagle eyed as you. If he reads your comment and is bothered he'll likely trim out that bit in YT Studio and give you a sarcastic but warm hearted comment thanking you for drawing attention to it.
@@chimpass75 well if I’m honest it’s very easy to find his address if you know what you are doing, but some people won’t so I just thought showing his street name might encourage people, unfortunately some people don’t always have good intentions

I'm so confused about that. So this video has been half a year in the making?
@@kexerino yeah its basiclly over 4 months.
Maybe he meant to say Wettest Summer ever. As English summer is kind of like winter.
ever look at a map?
If you watch his second channel videos, a lot of this progress started many months ago.
its so cool to see your wife is not only supportive but helping with the project :)
I've seen most of this on the second channel of course but still a great watch !
This whole time I thought Colin was saying "Irish J". I guess I beams are also called "RSJ" (rolled steel joist).
Omg same
Just named as they’re described and manufactured.
They can sit in the car when it's lifted up or down :D
A secret staircase!
A nice paternoster maybe? Sounds right up Colin's alley
Next project is to build a full basement under your house with wine cellar, snooker table and full staircase 👍
Then your neighbour will ask you to build him one too 😂
This could be the norm on a new house build. A little bit of underground space for a guest room, games room etc. doesn’t affect the footprint of the house, doesn’t block anyone’s light etc. it’s a win-win.
@@2Sorts it already is in London, and it's causing massive problems with noise, vibration, subsidence, even complete structural collapses...
Basemets are wax more expensive to build
@@jorgejiminez-rk1uu Well, kind of, but one that extends beyond the footprint of the house, like this one does.
@@richardharrold9736 Really? Sounds like a badly built kind of a setup.
@@2Sorts when you're excavating out underneath an existing structure, you will run into trouble.
One day deep into the future maybe 200 years from now your kids, kids , kids decide to move and someone comes to view this house before they buy it will be in utter shock, disbelief, and amazement!!! I couldn't imagine this could be any better then it is so Jealous! Good for you!
or this project will kick off a trend and in 200 years ALL houses will have mandatory underground secret garages.
We can hope for a trend, but sadly, it may become a requirement.
Such a smart man . Being a genius, making/creating things that are genius as well as making a great living on RUclips, genius!
That project is coming out nicely Colin you are a brave man to on such a big project like that 👏 👏👍 👍
22:45 don't we all want a full Chris Bibby load?
A massive shout out to Mrs Furze, the unsung hero of the "Secret Garage". Amazing work to all involved!!!
You are such a mad lad Colin in the best way possible.
Second channel people can skip to 17:16 - everything before that is a catch-up for the main channel peeps
0:11 bro just said winter is over ... bro its november soon ... ur nearly in winter again
I was also confused at first, but the last tunnel video came out in march
You have to remember this is in the UK, our summers only last two weeks somewhere in July then it's back to winter for another year.
This is just the best,I’m a 71 year old man who would love to own this.can you imagine the estate agent showing prospective buyers around and trying to explain why it’s the most expensive house on the estate.👍🇬🇧
if you watch the video you can see how much work this took, actually absurd
if you follow him on his second channel, you'd know that the start of this video was shot at the beginning of this year. This is a compilation of all what happened in 2024 so far on this project.
I absolutely love that shot 1:45
😂 Guess who's back...
The project, The production, and the music is off the chain 🤙💯💞😘
Safest front door in history 15:25
This is nuts.
Been waiting all week for this update!
23:12 that guys dog impression is amazing holy shit
Everyone give a like for Mrs Furze what a champ👍🏻
Hi Colin, loving the project, however you do realise on 1:40 of the video you give your street name away
Oh Colin! 😂🤦🏼♂️
I'm pretty sure his house wouldn't be too hard to find!
I’ve heard there is a pretty good underground movement supporting Colin 😁😁
@@chimpass75 well if I’m honest it’s very easy to find his address if you know what you are doing, but some people won’t so I just thought showing his street name might encourage people, unfortunately some people don’t always have good intentions
The flossing💀
i was looking for this comment lol
One of your best videos so far, Colin. Love seeing the progress.
