My guy. When a gentleman like this owner is nice enough to show you his project and guide you. Maybe in the future let him finish talking before you cut him off. Just food for thought. Other people might really get unerved by that.
Ty for uploading, this is an excellent tour of the facility. One tip, I'd recommend not stepping on every answer the person you're interviewing gives. Give it a few seconds before you follow up or chime in. Never cut them off.
My first thought was "How the hell do you spend 30 mill on a bunker" but after watching this I'm like "How the HELL did that ONLY cost 30 mill to build??!!" - Amazing bunker, amazing piece of work, wow.. Just stunning
What he spent is somewhat equivalent to 1960’s dollars in the USAFs cost to build it. The Atlas silo cost about 1.5m to build in the 60’s, which about 12m today. Add 3m for the missile itself, that’s 24m today for 36m total in today’s dollars. Buying these silos is relatively cheap depending on the model, because the government rarely ever worries about turning any sort of profit. So his 30m was absolutely spent almost in its entirety on the upgrades. Believe me, having seen what the DoD does with discarded or surplus gear that cost an arm and a leg to build or contract out, I am keenly aware of how much is wasted. However, these silos are actually quite affordable.
My personal opinion is that 1. ALL these sites are known about by the government, so that’s a huge negative. 2. The big question is, will you even make it there? I mean, if SHTF, are you sure your private helicopter is functioning, and if it’s not, you really trusting your safety to the roads, where everyone and their mother will be headed to the same region to their own bunkers? Which leads to 3. Once the word is out there are bunkers, everyone along your planned route to “safety” will be either trying to join you or figure out a way to take your place. Which is why if you’re going this route, it would be way better to go into a community like they have in places like SD or MT. They have old weapons shelters that you can buy for 50k, and outfit as you like. But EVERYONE there has to contribute something with regards to employment to the community, and they have their own security (not just two guys at a gate). The biggest concern to me for one of these shelters is the air. They built systems to filter the air, but these were never built to repel ground assaults. Unless he has made significant improvements to that ventilation system, not just for fallout but to camouflage it from folks who can clearly see the giant bunker right there. If they can’t get in, they may try and force you out. Given the amount he spent, I would imagine alternate air supplies have probably been put in place.
I was thinking the same thing. When people are wiping their bums with $100 bills because toilet paper is so scarce. What's the incentive for the guards to serve the people in the bunker? Is there a requirement that the security people be single? What's to prevent the security guards from taking over the bunker?
Dude. I have had a fascination with bunkers for many many years, ive watched countless of videos about the subject. This bunker is the best one i have ever seen.. incredible.
Me to. But it would be impossible to survive long term in a bunker especially if you had survivors on the outside. This would only work short term. I don't think a bunker could be built that would house people this comfortable for long term. It would be a great thought experiment to try and design one.
Like this one is something that normal people can buy. Imagine what the private ones the billionaires built in New Zeland and under their mansions are like.
Want to see a real Titan 2 missile base tour the one in Tucson AZ everything is authentic on loan from the USAF. The base was in service last in the 1980's. They actually sell spare computer boards that were used in the Titan 2 guidance computer at the gift shop.
I swear dude, this guy is unbearable to watch, he doesn't let him talk, he doesn't pay attention and he breathes as if he had run a triathlon after only taking 4 steps. And left much to be desired in terms of comments and questions related to the bunker.

The one thing people dont think about is the maintenance needed for a place like this. Say there was a nuclear disaster, a couple of malfunctions inside of that bunker and now its just a big fancy tomb. 54,000sq ft is massive. You need a specialized team to take care of that place.
Did you not watch the video?!? He literally said he and the few other brilliant minds that planned and put the whole thing together would be living there as well, hence they would have the brain power to find solutions to those problems that would undoubtedly arise.
thought of the same thing. if your’re off state, you’ll have to have your own plane and land directly where the bunker is. come to think about it, they should have at least a dirt strip runway and helipad…
Listen bro if the bombs never drop these are still cool tbh. Look at the big mine they use as a warehouse and paintball field over there in kansas you say its pretty creative tbh
A colossal waste of money and resources. Any enemy can weld those doors shut from the outside then backup truck loads of concrete and pour it against doors. People inside will never escape. They would want to escape when the enemy pumps raw sewage into the HVAC shafts. Oligarch's need to realize there will be no safe place on or in earth for them. NONE. 😱
Those doors are useless... If some groups from the outside will attack that place, all they have to look for are all the air intakes and smoke out all inhabitants or just seal all intakes...theyll be all out in no time. In my opinion, It would be crucial for the owners to go through a one-week drill as a group where they all occupy the facility at one time, and see how they actually fare as survivors with no access to the outside world for any form of support.
I remember seeing a few videos on this specific bunker, but this video is by far the most in-depth look. It's basically a small skyscraper that goes down instead of up. There's an insane amount of planning that goes into a construction of this scale. Fantastic video about an amazing facility!
When the hit hits the hit it would be much better to live there. I would live there if I would have the cash and passport.Fear is the best promoter for such bunker hotels.
Amazing facility, but it’s completely irrelevant if you’re not RIGHT THERE when the bombs/zombies drop. If shtf, this place is useless to its investors if they’re not within walking distance.
@@pauljoseph8338Exactly what I was thinking, war and disaster isn't exactly scheduled, so basically you're paying $3 million so you can imagine "what might have been" as the world goes to hell around you. almost complete... this place still needs an engineering section with fabrication tools like lathes mills and welders in order to repair and fabricate something you might need that you dont have. Fact is every WWII American submarine has a lathe just off the side of the engine room in case they need to fabricate something that you may need.
This individual has a very important intelligence. It would be my pleasure to know someone with a mindset as sophisticated as his.. Great job putting together this amazing piece of art
Larry is very intelligent. He also a hands on guy. When contractors couldn't get things correct. He taught himself and perfected the job himself. Along with his A1 guy Mark. together they are amazing. I did the security for 7 years there . I still drop in to see everyone. It's quit the place. And the people are great.
Most anyone who has any sense and does something for a living has this, like this is some crazy concept. Welcome to adulthood. My grandads generation were vets (WWII) designed and built their own brick homes in the late 40s/50s, shops, gardened, hunted, fished, worked a skilled blue collared job or was a plant foreman like my grandad or got a degree for something even more substantial (like being an engineer/doc) and raised several kids. They passed that all down to us. It's called being a man down south here.
@@dirtcurt1 when missile silos get decommissioned they are usually filled in with water, as its easier to fill with water than dirt, and they fill it so that criminals or enemy combatants cant easily turn it into a base/bunker against the government
This is a very jnteresting video hindered by the interviewer's constant bad jokes and off topic questions. I would recommend hiring a professional next time. The owner should be very happy with himself. He carries the video.
If you don't like it, go watch any of the other interviews he's done, like 20/20, Fox News, or Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. At least THIS guy knows what questions to ask since he also builds bunkers.
I remember years ago reading a story about a post apocalyptic world in which the government and high society had bunkered down waiting for everything to settle down outside. During that time they were also watching all the lower caste of society (via monitors) trying to break in their massive oversized bunkers. Those inside the bunkers calmly watched happy in the knowledge that they were safe and sound inside their perfect little community with all the creature comforts they required, and then some! That is, until one of the elders inside realised that they weren’t trying to get in, they were making sure they could never get out!
@@CatalinaFOIA spent most of the day looking for it! Think it was in a book of SF short stories, round about the time that the film Damnation Alley came out!
they need a huge fish tank in there hydroponics room. The fish poo feeds the plants and they keep making baby fish so you always have fresh fish to eat. its called Aquaponics.
As a person who works with firearms i know that cleaning an indoor range is very important because of the buildup of unburnt powder its a major fire hazard if neglected so i hope he is sure to have a plan for that
Watching this amazing tour I can’t help but think of all of the amazing movie plot ideas that could be used with this bunker. A psychological thriller masterpiece is just waiting to be carved out from this.
As an hvac engineer, i dont know much about a bunker of this type, but common sense would tell me, you should have overflow pans under your air handlers, and your condensate lines should be run into a water treatment still so the moisture that your air conditioning pull from the air can be recovered and recycled. There should be no waste in a facility like this. Curious where you have placed your condensor s also, as thermal transfer can also be used in creative ways to heat or cool space without wasting energy.

Question. Why would you ever spend that kind of money on a bunker. If you ever actually need to use it, lifes going to suck so much. I'd rather just take that money and build the coolest house in the world or build the worlds safest super yacht.
Something you can use and actually enjoy in this lifetime. If the wrost happens and you are forced to live in a bunker that will just suck. Doesn't matter if you are in a 30 million dollar bunker or a 200k dollar bunker. Life will just suck.
@@RadDadisRad hahaha yes it will. It absolutely will. We may have different ideas of super yachts. I would just trick out a 45 foot sailboat to the maximum. Maybe a catamaran but with crazy Tech. I bet I could do it with 10 million

I'm not a hater. Goofing around. This video is amazing and this content is great. I am confused if adding a bunker to your house changes it to being a bunker with a house attached. Therefore destroying the investment model. And then I wonder if your property had a casita home (guest house) with a bunker then does that give you the best of both worlds. A house and a bunker with a casita attached.
I think a lot of people are just curious about this because everyone thinks about this scenario. I think its perfectly legitimate to talk about what people would do if they had that themselves and put themselves in that postion. What do you do when you have a pharmacy, a dentist office, and a doctors office with no pharmacist, dentist, or doctor. The pharmacist may not be so important but to get the drugs in there since they are certified you would need one working there so they probably just have some otc drugs and antibiotics. Its possible they arent telling people everything but he sounded pretty honest when he said the place is basicaly staffed by a couple building managers. I know he said that there are owners that can fill these roles but that relies on everyone making it there. Theres a ton of variables that could be an issue that people enjoy thinking through but obviously it would be aweseom to own a unit regardless. But without discussing the pros and cons how to people start making their own plans. I can afford a unit theoretically but Id still lean on getting my own at home eventually. Im open minded but that requires thinking about these things.
@@ar007r And then there is what happens in retirement communities. Even before the c-word, they were notorious for spreading of STDs. If you talk to medical staff there, it is alot of people with time and nothing better to do. Like a guy will come in and get treated but then a couple month later he's got the same thing again. The other thing I saw that could be close to this would be Whittaker, Alaska. Those are some long and cold and dark winters.
I remember when Mt. St. Helens blew. That winter the snow was higher than our front door. I think Atlas Bunkers needs to redesign the air intake pipes to be taller. Either snow or Yellowstone ash could suffocate everybody if it covers the air intake.
I’m an architect that’s done several sub-terrainian domains for some Hollywood elites and this structure is truly unreal!!! Every aspect possible thought out I can’t get over it!
The power supply is everything in this bunker. Ron has obviously put a lot of time, effort and money into that system but for me that is the Achilles Heel of a bunker. Thanks for the video.
I agree and its one of the most venerable part of the whole bunker the very top and near the edge. All someone would have to do is block the air intakes and exhaust and it would be over.
Yup. These things are nothing but scams aimed at naive paranoid rich people. Bunkers are literally the place where people die right after the disaster event. Hollywood movies have warped the minds of so many people that they have no clue how reality works. Even the rich owner would just jump on a plane or helicopter and fly to a place that is safer. That's only if they survive the initial event, considering these people do not regularly live in this bunker, they would be long dead before they would have time to get to the bunker. So stupid.
True that's a possibility but you don't honestly think that they haven't thought about that too and worked that problem out with all the time and money put into that place I don't think he would have sold any units if they haven't thought about the what if someone tries to do this or that if we've thought about it I'm pretty sure the guy that built it and the people that bought it has too
@@jeremyfoster4789 That would be my 'time, effort and money' acknowledgement. We have the largest single Japanese investment outside the home islands just across the bay from my home - a massive natural gas plant that supplies our little city with electricity as a side hustle. 24/7 Japanese workforce and the best of everything industrial - a model of energy production. You can imagine the confusion when that side hustle ceased to do its job and we were left in the dark until it was fixed. No system is perfect, and I'm sure there are plenty of flashlights in those bunkers ;)
Normally you would have three generators not just two, one working, one standby and the other repair/service, plus a minimum of two diesel tanks, you don't just fill diesel in a large tank and run a generator from it, if you are looking for long term reliability. I would have also a lot more questions about survivability of this complex. It is more show than realistic, if it took a hit many of the systems would go offline never to return. Good luck to its occupants if they ever need to use it.
I was thinking the same thing, especially when they were in the classroom and talking about communicating with the other bunker(s). Are they all going to wear blue jumpsuits too? 😂
There are much better ones out west that are completely underground. With hundreds of feet of mountain on top to protect them. But these all have an inherent flaw- humans. Humans are unpredictable in survival situations. They get greedy and aggressive. Better off being on your own away from civilization

Quite frankly, if I had the money for one of these "condos" I would rather spend it on an Atlas Bunker. Having a protected shelter near me and without having to deal with the possible over-reach of a facility owner, makes the Atlas Bunker a much better option. My bunker, my freedom.
This shelter is a luxury apartment and an Atlas bomb shelter would be feeling cramped like a prison cell. Atlas bomb shelters are a great product but no comparison to this bunker. A long stay in an Atlas shelter would cause many to go stir crazy.
@@sandy1148This is something you own because you have money to blow and want to have a talking piece... It is not practical to get to in an emergency. You also have to rely on the people inside opening the doors for you to get in and they could stop you to save more food for themselves or you might not get along with them if you do make it inside. Overall if you truly think something might happen it is significantly smarter to have your own location that less people know about.
I always find it interesting to watch brilliant people work. This guy is very impressive. He's created more then just a bunker. The technology being used is off the charts.
Very impressive. The problem is, bomb's don't usually come with much notice. The doctor, dentist, owner's, engineer etc. may not make it there before the doors have to be closed.
yeah but typically there's some tension escalation on the days or hours before. You just have to be extremely aware of what's going on, plus some owners might have contacts to government officials that might give them an early warning.
From the second the first nuke is launched it takes less than an hour for that initial warhead to hit, every single nuclear armed nation in the world detects it and completely empties their entire arsenal at each other. A nuclear apocalypse takes less than an hour from start to finish, the only person that stands a chance of surviving in this thing is the armed guard at the gate. You would have to move in the moment construction was done and never leave if you hoped to survive a nuclear apocalypse in one of these. The only real benefit I could see is if there was some kind of societal collapse because there would likely be a slow gradual build up to something like that giving you ample time to relocate yourself and your family to the bunker.
They're near the border of Kansas and Missouri, the coastal cities are going to be hit long before they are. And the doors can be reopened of course. That's why they have a decon room.
I'd suggest on his next one that he consider the redundancy concept with fire pumps also as he did with the generators. Also, a spare parts area in each equipment area with parts for that room's equipment (especially air filtration). He can reduce the load on the generators by not running all of the lights but only pathway and critical area lighting. Wonderful bunker. Thanks for this one Ron!
Cheaper to buy a home in New Zealand where it's lot less likely to ever experience nuclear fallout. The problem would be if we got into a nuclear exchange they are going to hit the ICMB bases so hard that everything around this base will be so hot with fallout won't be able to leave the place for years. Lets say it does cool down enough starving people are going to come around and eventually figure out a way to get into the place.
i would much rather buy a 1.5 million bunker from atlas. it is really cool to see this and it would be great for a tight knit group but in a post SHTF situation you have to really know and trust the people who are in your bunker.

A super rich person who is use to obedience will want to be in charge no matter how stupid they are, or liberal who thinks everyone should be invited in too, ect. At 6:45 you get to see the achilles heel of the bunker, if you take out the ventilation you take out the inhabitability of entire bunker. Taking out the ventilation is a sure fire way to turn a bunker into a tomb. Just My Thoughts...
I instantly think of Isaiah 2.. "People will hide in caves in the rocky hills or dig holes in the ground trying to escape from the Lord's anger and to hide from His power and glory, when He comes to Shake the Earth."
Thats something that was I thinking about, almost everything was thought about atleast a bit and most things have redundancy. Except for the particle filter, that one ventilation filter that cools and heats the air. if you find the intake for the outside, you could take it out and its game over essentially.
I thought he would have had a machine shop with lathes, CNC, milling etc which would allow better maintenance and parts manufacturing in the event of long term occupancy.
There's a lot to discuss regarding the reality of maintaining a complex system like this (an entirely necessary separate technical discussion). First... two major immediate points that I would consider are... location and who gets a ticket in. Likely the reality is... this Kansas facility is only a "Mockup." What is a Mockup?" Look up what a Mockup Platform is. Now... Think about it... If I am going to spend 30 million dollars for my bunker, I will just go ahead and spend 31 million, an extra 1 million for the land purchase somewhere... Hmm... let's see... like on an island in the Southwestern Pacific Ocean perhaps? In a full nuclear exchange, necessitating you needing to live in a hole in the ground, America is target number one. The last place you're going to escape to is Kansas. People who spend this kind of money are expecting an early warning.... it's not possible to get to a remote bunker like this without being in the know. This test bed, serves a teaching, demonstration, design evaluation, simulation, promotion, etc. etc. platform. Also serves as a nice psychological operation, attracting and diverting the attention of those who are dumb enough to think the "elites" are actually going to flee to the number one target location on the planet. As many have pointed out, the likely unskilled occupants (unable to fix the inevitable maintenance issues) will have to come out, likely sooner than they will expect. That is unless the occupants of the bunker have the necessary technical skills and tools to maintain this facility long term. Final point... this facility is going to need to be somewhere, away from the starving hordes (think survival of the fittest if you have to come out early), where the land you will occupy is least affected by the initial blasts and the years of nuclear fallout that will ensue. You're going to immediately need to start growing food in an uncontaminated, unzombified landscape that has the necessary natural resources or you will have of course only temporarily put off your starvation, your misery and eventual death.
Would be nice if you could grab a couple of wireless clip-on mics for showcases like these so the voices don't echo throughout the entire bunker, sometimes it was hard to hear what was being said. Amazing video nonetheless!
My dad was on the Manhattan Commission, and also Civil Defense Warden. I remember his Geiger counter. I saw the missiles rise from their earthly silos near Chicago during the Cuban missile crisis while riding in a car. So, I have a natural fascination to bunkers. Since I am far from being wealthy and also old my trust is in the Lord. I cannot fathom serving a nuclear blast, remaining underground for 12-15 years or more only to emerge to nothing. Nice bunker though.
It's nice to know that while people are dying and watching their loved ones die people with money will be playing pool, swimming and just generally living it up.
“And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?” Revelation 6:15-17
So this is how Vault Tec got started... Joking aside it's neat that they even consulted with psychologists on how to do things. The work thing makes sense....I was out of work for most of a year due to a foot injury. At first it was nice not to have to worry about going to work and just doing whatever or sleeping as long as I liked. It got a bit boring eventually and I got restless and when I finally got to go back to work again it actually felt good. Free time is great but like most things too much of it isn't. Being able to do something that at least feels like you're being productive would likely help a lot if you had to be stuck down there for months at a time.

Very cool setup, the walk in freezer though if it was not left open must have a leak in a door or around a gap of a pipe that passes through the freezer wall, to much Ice forming that should not be forming and it looks pretty concentrated where its building up.
I'd be curious to know what the potential social dynamics would become if the residents (most likely very wealthy, alpha/aggressive (possibly a few -sociopathic)) if they were completely cut off from leaving for an extended period of time. a truly beautiful and well thought out bunker. kudos to the team.
I recommend the movie "The Divide". The "Bunker" is not glamorous at all, but it really shows how being stuck in a shelter with strangers deteriorates over time.
Exactly. If the staff of the bunker found out that society will never return as it used to be. What is the incentive to not just "Take Care" of the clients and extend all your rations? Is the presumption that life will return to normal after a period of time?
all the automation is the Achilles heel this is super impressive but if there is truly an event where this place is occupied it will work fine for a few months but stuff will break especially the IT type stuff -- they would need warehouses full of spares for any longevity I think Ron nailed it the lack of staff to support this is a key take away no question its impressive but for real survival I think it will breakdown over time.
That's why it's better to work with other people on the surface, not stuck in a bunker. It's not like the movies where it's every man for themselves. Humans won't go crazy and start killing each other, we will come together, cooperate with each other and rebuild. This bunker is cool but in the long run, it's unrealistic. Things will breakdown as you said, who will have spare parts or the expertise to fix these things, the staff? If it was truly the end of the world, what makes you think the staff will just do what they are told, they won't be getting paid or anything. They will probably leave or take over the bunker. The food will run out, then what? These bunkers are only great for short term, but not long term.
@@rickace132- i strongly disagree. The worst among us with no prep and all the greed and self preservation will band together and begin looting. Sure eventually alliances will form. Due to looting, desperation and disease.
Great point.
Love the judgement of people you don't know! Since your mother obviously didn't teach you this lesson, if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all.
Awesome bunker and video. just a little constructive criticism. 1, really need a better mic or filter that doesn't pick up your hard core breathing into the camera. maybe invest in getting a cameraman which would help eliminate the problem or at least minimize it and also give you a chance to be on camera with your guest instead of have the guest try to be a cameraman. 2, listen better to the guest talking. Asking questions that he just said or answered to have him repeat it 3-4 times if not more, interrupting him answering the question you just asked to ask a different one or to just change subjects all together isn't very professional and is disrespectful.
It’s crazy to me that I’ve not seen this comment earlier. This guys production quality is catastrophic. No cuts, no music, no mic on the guest, nothing. Very disappointing .
Impressive!!!! My main concern is related to an event. If you are not permanently living in the structure, most catastrophic events would not allow you the luxury of time needed to get to this awesome facility.
Pretty hypothetical if that first floor, both the car park and the pool are going to be useable post fallout. Second, y'all going to love the view from outside in those windows, provided they still work. Gas stoves, not sure what that's about. Fish market. Where are they coming from? Growing flowers, why? Can you eat em? Impressive for sure, but I'm not sure all the basic priorities are in order.
I love it. An awesome done bunker and the units for sale are very nice. That said, unless you plan on moving there, I don't see it feasable to access as a nuclear event would disrupt aviation and you would not be able to get there. I would rather have my own built and installed in my property where I could access it and it could be done very well also. Remember, you will not be living in these constantly as radiation will dissapate above ground to where you can go as well. Let's all pray it does not come to this.
While it is true that a sudden nuclear detonation would mean that the occupants would never arrive in time, the purpose of such a bunker for the owners is that when a nuclear war becomes likely, the occupants would go to the bunker and wait for the situation to resolve itself. A nuclear war may not happen overnight, but over months of incremental escalation.
Its for when you KNOW things are starting to go south. Not for immediate situations. Like say you know for a few weeks things are tense with another nation.
I instantly thought of Isaiah 2..'People will hide in caves in the rocky hills or dig holes in the ground trying to escape from the Lord's anger and to hide from His power and glory, when He comes to Shake the Earth."

My first thought was "How the hell do you spend 30 mill on a bunker" but after watching this I'm like "How the HELL did that ONLY cost 30 mill to build??!!" - Amazing bunker, amazing piece of work, wow.. Just stunning
£30 Billion rather
Looks great. I still wonder how a 100k powers that whole thing. That doesn’t add up to me…
30 mil was the upgrades/fix's. The main construction was paid by the US tax payer.
My personal opinion is that
Which leads to

Great Video Ron! I'm glad to finally see almost the whole thing and not just pictures and short segments!
It’s great to see people accomplish epic things like this, you can tell he didn’t let anyone(not even family) get in his way
Cheaper to buy a home in New Zealand where it's lot less likely to ever experience nuclear fallout. The problem would be if we got into a nuclear exchange they are going to hit the ICMB bases so hard that everything around this base will be so hot with fallout won't be able to leave the place for years. Lets say it does cool down enough starving people are going to come around and eventually figure out a way to get into the place.
I am very impressed by this bunker and the thought that went behind they building of it . Congratulations
i would much rather buy a 1.5 million bunker from atlas. it is really cool to see this and it would be great for a tight knit group but in a post SHTF situation you have to really know and trust the people who are in your bunker.
My thoughts exactly. People will change. Someone who is a real or imaginary alpha will try to dominate the situation through violence. There's a lot to discuss regarding the reality of maintaining a complex system like this (an entirely necessary separate technical discussion).

It got a bit boring eventually and I got restless and when I finally got to go back to work again it actually felt good. Free time is great but like most things too much of it isn't. all the automation is the Achilles heel this is super impressive but if there is truly an event where this place is occupied it will work fine for a few months but stuff will break especially the IT type stuff -- they would need warehouses full of spares for any longevity I think Ron nailed it the lack of staff to support this is a key take away no question its impressive but for real survival I think it will breakdown over time.

Asking questions that he just said or answered to have him repeat it 3-4 times if not more, interrupting him answering the question you just asked to ask a different one or to just change subjects all together isn't very professional and is disrespectful.

And even if you can get there, you'll find a locked door because the staff will have moved their families into the place.
