    Hi Amanda, thank you for another wonderful video. I have some “I love this cotton” yarn in my stash and this looks like a great way to use up some of it. These are really lovely and as always your video is just perfect . You are so very talented and a wonderful teacher. Many thanks, Liz B. ( Corning, NY)

    Nice pattern!!! Mine has turned itself into a bowl so I know I've done something wrong somewhere.

      Thank you! You can always block it and lay it flat to dry. I had to do that with my dishcloth. You can always go up a hook size if you feel like your stitches are too tight. Hope that helps!

      @@AmandaCrochets I tried going up a size. Still cupping. Since it's "just" a dishcloth, I won't be blocking it. Thanks for the suggestions!

    I love this pattern, I have made several of these, my edges want to roll up like a bowl. Any ideas how to make it relax? Change hook for a larger slice after the double crochets? I appreciate any ideas you have. Thank you!

    • @AmandaCrochets
      @AmandaCrochets  Год назад +2

      You could try going up a hook size. When originally making this I started out with a smaller hook, but was experiencing the same thing. Once I went up a hook size it was better. You could also block this to help stretch it out a little too.

    Hi Amanda! How would I go about making it a little bigger?

    • @AmandaCrochets
      @AmandaCrochets  4 дня назад

      You can increase the rounds by adding more v stitch rounds.

    This is beautiful! But mine doesn’t lay flat. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong.

    • @AmandaCrochets
      @AmandaCrochets  10 месяцев назад

      It’s possible it’s your tension. You can also block your dishcloth when finished.

    • @QandEsmom
      @QandEsmom 3 месяца назад

      This is exactly what mine is doing. Think my tension is fine. I'm going to leave as is since it's just a dishrag (for me) but going forward I'm going to try a larger hook size and see if that works since I'll be gifting most of them.

      I am beginner and got supplies at bargain/ dollar store so it’s not good quality but I can’t f it up so hard every time 😫

      If your work is curling up, it's possible your tension is too tight. I suggest going up a hook size. You can also block your work to help with the curling. Here's an article that can help: www.crochet.com/learning-center/how-to-block-crochet
