So sorry everyone when you finish the dishcloth it should have 7 petals not 8, I made a mistake when I counted the petals. I must have been working late and had crossed eyes. so when you do the last 2 rnds you should have only 7 petals. I am so sorry about that, the instructions are right, just where I tell you how many petals is wrong. Thanks all for your understanding!!!
Thank you. These are lovely. I can't figure out why I am only getting 7 petals, only got 6 on my first one, LOL. But they are still lovely and so easy! I appreciate you tutorials sooooo much. Thanks you again!
Thank you for your help. I had torn this out twice because I couldn’t get the proper number of petals. With your written instructions I got it right the first time!! Maybe you should do a channel
I just love this! I was looking for a dishcloth in the round and watched a dozen or more videos before I found this one. Thank you for sharing your amazing talent with us!
Ms. Winkleman, I've tried the Daisy Potholders and doubled the Spring Flower instructions to make a Spring Flower potholder. They both were very lovely. Thank you for providing such detailed instructions and beautiful patterns.
I know its been a couple of years, and i don't know if you will see this, but i want to make pot holders with this pattern. Can you tell me if you used 2 strands of yarn? Or if you just made it larger? Thank you
I love it, I really do!! I came out with 7 petals, so I am going to write out the pattern and try to figure out where I went wrong, but it looks lovely! Giving it to my mom. Can't wait to try again! Thank you Glenda!!!
I've used a similar pattern for hot pads by making two of the dishcloth patterns without the petals, then joining them together with a round of sc, followed by a row of the petals. This is a beautiful pattern! I can't wait to try it. I think I will make some pads with your pattern. They will be much nicer than the ones I am working on for a friend of my mother. Both will be quite delighted with the result. Thanks so much for your patterns and videos!!
These are beautiful. I'm going to be lazy and not change colors but use my "stripey" yarn for now. I hope I can do it. I want a super easy but very cute dish cloth to make. Used to be good at it but haven't crocheted in a long time.
I really enjoyed your tutorial. I appreciated how you take your time, and show which stitch/space to crochet into. My sister introduced me to Crochet, many years ago, and it is the best stress reliever for me. Thank you for sharing ! :)
I really enjoy watching your videos. I just purchased some peaches & creme yarn for another dish cloth pattern, but I think that I will make this one instead of the honey comb pattern that I am struggling with..
Thanks Glenda these make great gifts all year round, love the pattern I'm going to make a load of these to give as Christmas gifts for the district nurses which call on me every morning.
I want to try this round dishcloth. It looks pretty easy working stitches i already know it looks like you are crocheting layers in the project. I get to pick up more yarn:) I just finished my first round dishcloth that was all single crochet so this would be a good challenge for me.
Glad I found you. I just finished making Lotus dish cloth and it is too small for me. From viewing your tutorial I think this will work. Will be in touch after I finish.
Hello Glenda! Just wanted to let you know, I found your name with the name of this pattern in a book I bought at McKay's bookstore. The book is from 2002 in a Leisure Arts Cool Stuff Teach Me To Crochet book. Regular Price was $12.99 from Hobby Lobby and I paid .40 cents for it. It has 14 projects in it. Whoever had this, wrote your name and the name of this pattern inside the front cover. They also wrote Yarnspirations.com and the word, Daisy, also. Just thought it was cool and looked on RUclips for Spring flower dishcloth and your channel came up first! I was so thrilled! Thanks for all your hard work to teach us!
Hi Glenda love your instruction very well put together slow and steady, I recently joined your channel and I’m picking up a lot of your projects and today I did this one it came out very well, by the way enjoyed the sound of the storm. Thank you
Did you write out the pattern? I need to know how many stitches I am supposed to have at the end of the rows. I'm not confident I have the right number
Love your videos! Which cotton yarn would you recommend? There are many options online but they're so expensive! Do you have any brands/types you think would be worth a try? Keep up the wonderful content, you're a fabulous teacher and I love learning from you!
I love this pattern I have made a few of them. I really like to have the write pattern in front of me just to make sure I have the right amount if stitches per row. I have lost my pattern. How can I get another one? Thanks in advance
Glenda, You gave a great idea for the Christmas in July video for the dishcloths with peppermint containers etc... Do you have any ideas for the Spring flower dishcloth for craft fairs?
Thank you very much for details, it came beautifully but diameter is only 6.5" what's went wrong?Anyway this is my very first project , I' m so happy, thanks.
How do you fasten off? Do you just snip the yarn & pull it tight? If so wouldn’t it come loose? When you change colors I noticed you put the end of the yarn to the back. Do you just crochet that in? Thank you for showing & sharing.
omg i made a comment on your brand new give away and i looked down and saw my shirt it's the same exact colors of the yarn for the give away. lol. being that you asked for one comment only i had to let you know this some how!!!!!!!😁
I thought I was going nuts. Ripped it apart 3 times. Finally on the 5th round I increased five stitches to 55 and did get 8 petals. Written directions could have been much clearer. On the last two rows I wrote the steps as a list one stitch step per line and it made more sense.

It seems like on row 7, when I get to the end of a petal and do the SC, then the Slip Stitch, fasten off, completely? But then as I start into the next petal I have an extra space before I start my next petal with a single crochet. I wish the video would have continued through another petal. I
Beautiful work, thank you for sharing. Do you have a written pattern for this or all your patterns? I love your work and would like to be able to crochet at my own pace. Thank you so much for your time. Connie
