Thank you Suzanne! You may want to find some softer cotton for those facecloths. Should be able to find some at your local craft store. Just check to be sure the skeins are 100% cotton.

Thank you very much for this tutorial. This was my first attempt at a crochet project and because of your thorough explanation of all the steps, including how to read the pattern, my dishcloth turned out good. I have to admit I had to watch the steps over and over and over again. And then some more. Thank you again. I’m looking forward to more of your videos and more crochet projects.

    Hi Bonnie
I made a comment a short while ago just by looking at the pattern only. But once I started to do the pattern and saw you had a written read along, I lit up from ear to ear. This is exactly what I asked for and you came through, and not that I doubted, I know how busy you are. I am so very thankful and I’m learning a ton. God Bless You!!

I can knit, stocking stitch only and I can shape. I have only made 1 jumper in my life and I'm 64. I have never been interested in crochet but I recently needed to do a cap for a rag doll to weave eyelash or boucle yarn to make her hair so I went in search of a tutorial to help me and I stumbled across your easy beginners round dish cloth. Oh my goodness, I am hooked (no pun intended). I have a hook, some yarn and some patience although I'm finding to magic ring frustrating but I'm no quitter. Thank you for your wonderful tutorials, Bonnie. I hope you're keeping safe and well wherever you are.

Thank you! I only just started trying to learn crochet using RUclips. This has been the first project which I was able to attempt successfully and actually looks good. I have tried a few other projects....and the outcome was embarrassing. Thank you for how clearly you explain everything, and how you show exactly what you are doing slowly. Sometimes I mistake the various stitches so I need to see what is being done to understand. And you moved to the best pace for any beginner in this video.
Now I will definitely subscribe and browse through your videos.

Loved this! Ive played around with other washcloth payterns, but never felt they were sturdy enough to use... too many fancy stitches. Looked good, but not do practicle.
Yours is the FIRST pattern I know will work as intended.
Plan to make many more... thank you!!
(Love your nail polish, too : )

Thank you Sheila! As far as nails go, I enjoy the Color Street Nail Strips. If I paint my own nails it looks like a preschooler did them!

A bobby pin or safety pin also make good stitch markers. I almost had enough for 12 rounds. It looks pretty anyway. 😁

Can also use a safety pin as a stitch marker.

Hi Bonnie. I have only been crocheting for about 5 months. I did this pattern along with you but mine does not lay flat it has like a ripple affect to it. Is there something I'm not doing to have it lay flat? I love that you actually take the time to show the pattern and do a breakdown on how to read patterns. This was a big help.

I would need to really see a photo to analyze what the issue may be Vickey. You can send to me at bonniebay@me.com. You can also try laying it flat and smoothing out the ripples with your hands. Spraying it lightly with water may help this too. Pin in place and let dry.

Bonnie I was looking for a pattern for a lovey. We are expecting twin grandsons in about 2 weeks and I finished their blankets so I turned to you again. I think these would be great for the blanket part of the loveys. I’ll let you know how they turn out. 💚💜
