Hi Donna! Welcome to our crafty little community 😊
You are absolutely the best crochet teacher out there. If I don't know how to do a stitch, I always look you up. You are very clear, and you repeat the stitch, which is something I need. Plus, what makes watching your tutorials, is you have the best personality, and it's obvious that you really love to crochet. I can't thank you enough for all of your tutorials. I'm sorry this is so long, just wanted you to know how much I appreciate what you do, not only for myself, but all of your followers. 🙂
Hi Donna! Thank you so very much, we really appreciate hearing that! We're so happy to know you're enjoying our show and find it helpful :)
Totally agree with you!
I always come back to this pattern. It is just right to share with friends or love ones. It is easy to make while relaxing watching a good program too. Have a nice Valentines Day you and the other half.

Making scarfs using this beautiful V stitch! People tell me they look beautiful !
Thank you Jayda 😊🌸
Hi Bertha, thank you for watching! This is such a fun and handy stitch, and yes, it makes a lovely scarf!
I was looking for something cute and easy to do while watching a movie and this is it! So super glad you guys don't get rid of the older videos. Gonna make a scarf.....although winter is almost over, thank God, I can squirrel it away for next winter. Thanks Jayda and Mr. InStitches!
Hi Sheryl! I imagine I'll still be reaching for a scarf for a couple of months yet LOL! Thank you for watching :)
I have made a lot of dish rags since I made this one. It was my first one. There is none as fun as this one. I always go back to it. I hope you and your hubby are having a great year.
Thank you so much! We hope you're having a great 2024 so far too 💗
Dishcloths are my favorite thing to learn new stitches on. You get your practice with a useful item as a result. Thanks for your videos, you make learning fun.
I totally agree, Kate!
I did 2 super chunky blankets with regular V stitch and they came out great. I can’t wait to make things with the 1/2 DC V Stitch!! So beautiful and thank you for making an easy to follow tutorial for beginners like me to be able to understand
Hi Marilyn! Thank you for watching 😊
Did you use this small V stitch?
This is my go to pattern for all mu dish cloths. Hope you are having a great Summer.
Thank you! You too!
p.s, I *particularly * appreciate your close-up camera work. I DON'T like crochet because I never know where to insert the damned hook once I get started and look down at all those chains and interlocking stitches. Mind you....I can follow the most intricate, complicated knitting pattern with no problems. I'm self-taught in knitting and crochet and tatting. Your excellent videos are helping me navigate crocheting in a way that is helping me be more willing to try crochet projects.
You are such a great teacher, Jayda!
Hi Barbara! Thank you so much 😊
You are so right!...what a cute stitch!...I’ve done it before, but never thought to do a dishcloth in it....cute and fast...and mostly all tactile...great tv stitch!..thank youM
Hi Suzanne! Happy New Year! Thank you for watching :)
Just made my first dishcloth from your video! It came out so nice. My Granddaughter bought her first house and I'm making them for housewarming party. I know she'll love them. Thank you so much for taking the time to teach me. God bless.
Hi John, thank you so much for watching :)
Jayda InStitches I'm Cheryl, John's wife. My pleasure!
Just watched and learned the "V" stitch and was immediately inspired to try a variation and I love it! Probably old news to the veteran crocheters out there, but here it is anyway: I made a HDC stitch then (instead of a chain one) I made a triple crochet and then a HDC! It looks like a tulip! So so cute! Thank you for the springboard...I can see why you enjoy this versatile stitch! Blessings!
Okay. So well I may have spoken too soon. Good news: Looks like a little rose or hobnail actually. Not so good news: It doesn't repeat well in rows. So, on the following row I returned to the basic pattern of HDC, chain 1, HDC . Looking good! My daughters will love these. Cotton is so much cleaner!
Hi Cheryl! Experimenting is my favourite way to learn and discover new things :)
Thanks Jayda!! This is one I will keep.
Hi Lou! Thank you for watching 😊

2DC C12DC for wraps and blankets. So... I am definitely going to make a few dishcloths, using the cute little HDC V-Stitch... Thanks for the tutorial... You are such an excellent teacher.👍

I work as a nurse and, as such, I meet a lot of people every day. I often encounter knitters/crocheters (family members who bring their projects, along with their love and support, to the hospital to keep their hands busy and their potential fears at bay) while I'm providing care. Jayda....I reccomend your channel to all of these dear people. Heck...I reccomend your channel to anyone, as appropriate, outside my workplace. Just wanted you to know. You're such a good teacher and we appreciate that!

Hi Valentina, thank you for watching!
I finished my first "v" potholder!!! On my way to making more as gifts for Christmas :) Thanks Jayda
Hi Jayda! I hope you are having a fantastic summer! 😊 One of my first few projects I made was a v-stitch scarf (with double crochet). I think I'm going to use this half double crochet v-stitch to make a new scarf. I've only made a few projects this summer, some of the sunshine coasters, the poncho, the Tunisian dishcloth. I'm looking forward to getting back to more crochet.
HI BECKY!! Oooh, it's been a hot one, right?! I love the short little projects in the summer (especially since we don't have a/c!!) and especially ones made using cotton or crochet thread :) You'd think in the nice weather with more daylight we'd somehow have more time to do the things we like, but it seems the long summer days get eaten up even more quickly than the cold winter ones!
Just made one using the color Mistletoe by Lily Sugar 'n Cream. I love how the pattern turned out. I can't wait to make a bunch of different holiday colors.
I love having a stack of these ready for quick additions to host gifts around the holiday season!
I love this stitch. Thanks so much

Loved your video....Gonna make this when I get home today. Thank you!!!
I been practicing sc for a couple of weeks now. I might branch out and give this stitch a try. It is pretty.
Hi Julie, This is a good once to practice on too, I bet you'll love V-stitches once you get the hang of them :)
I started to crochet in March and decided to become more sustainable with these dishcloths, also thought this would be a great gift idea for family. I bought some Sugar ‘Cream cotton today so I could finally start making them and boy is cotton TOUGH to work with! My hands are aching and I’ve only done 8 rows! It is the first time I’ve used anything but acrylic yarn so don’t know if it gets easier? Thank you for your amazing videos, I have learned so much. X
Hi Pauline, cotton is a little more "grabby" than acrylic, so it does take a little getting used to! And some cottons are smoother than others. However, "rough" cotton makes for really good dishcloths :)
Very nice and clear directions! Cute dish cloth!
Thank you Barbie :)
Just made one. So quick and looks great!! Thanks Jayda!
Hi Thea! I love pretty little dishcloths, it makes doing the dishes a little less annoying LOL
