By far the best crochet channel on RUclips. You actually take the time to explain everything and not rush so that we don’t have to press pause every 3 seconds.

I started learning how to crochet a few months ago. I'm all self taught, and I've watched hundreds of crochet videos. I came across your videos today, and I have to say, they're the best I've seen. The way you describe things, makes it so easy to understand. I can't wait to watch more of your videos.

Very pretty color blend and the border adds such a nice finish. Thank you for sharing such great instruction and visual.

I'm just finding this pattern, very easily followed. If I may point something out, no offense intended. If you chain 23 and start your first stitch in the 3rd chain from the hook, you will have 21 stitches across. Just a bit of clarification. The border is what drew me to this pattern. Happy crocheting everyone.

The written pattern says 21. Skip 1st 2 stitches, half dbl in 3rd all the way across, total 21.

Have to agree with other comments - I've been learning to crochet online and found some good teachers to get me started, but I wanted to try a dishcloth and, after finding your video, I was amazed at how well I did. I believe it's because you are SO easy to follow. Your voice is gentle, which helps with calmness, and you take your time, but not too slow either. You do know when to 'finish what you just described' and then come back with the finished piece to continue to the next step. You explain well and show your work in a way that I can actually see what you're talking about. Also, loved it when you said, "it doesn't have to be perfect." That took a lot of pressure off immediately. Thanks very much. I look forward to finding more videos done by you.

I have been a knitter most of my life and have always wanted to crochet. I have watched countless crochet tutorials and had basically decided I would never understand how to crochet lol... until I found this video. First ever crochet project completed thanks to you! The magic was in making sure we understood where exactly to stick the hook through. Thank you :)

I am a BASIC beginner. Your video is very very good. Voice is easy to understand. You talk your student through a stitch while demonstrating it. Repeating very slowly is important for me and you do that well. Slow, slow, and slow----repeat, repeat and repeat. You did great! Can't wait to try this dishcloth. Love the border. So far, I've only crocheted a SC border which is a little plain. I'm confident, with practice, I can get this! Thanks!

    This yarn color is exceptional!
Would like some in an acrylic baby yarn💜
Introduced HDC stitch to a friend and she likes it now .
The hardest part of any project is after you make the chain, doing a stitch back down the row
And getting something to hold onto to start doing your pattern even just doing a single crochet back down the chain makes the next row the first real row easier.

? Is there a formula for increasing the size of the dish cloth, and let’s say were using one of the shell groupings as a size increase. In other words, this dish cloth now has five shelves across each side, if I wanted to increase it by two she’ll stitch widths, would I add 6 chain links to the foundation chain strip?

  • @lyndabright4763

Not a Crochet question but I love your nail polish. It reminds me of "Rose Zing" by Revlon which I cannot find anymore. What is your color there if you don't mind my asking. P.S. I am going to try this as my first crochet'd dish cloth. I have knitted them before which is fun but want to learn a new skill. My daughter taught me a granny square but I want to learn and practice some other stitches including a scalloped edge. I hope to one day soon make an afghan.
