    Thank you for this video.
    While others complain about you talking too fast or that the video is not for a beginner, i have to say that is why you can pause and go back.
    I think overall you great!

    Thank you! This is the clearest star stitch video I’ve seen 🙌 I am a real beginner and this was so easy to follow!

    I noticed at the end of row 2 she said to place one single crochet to end but she clearly used a half double crochet.

    I'm a beginner and had no trouble at all following this tutorial. It's called pause, people. 🙄 Thanks for showing me how to do this pretty stitch! 💜

      I too have been crocheting for about 40 years and still call myself a beginner, this was my first time ever trying this stich and I had no problem. I had to replay it a few times to make sure my stitches were in place with yours but over all you did a wonderful job! Thank you!!

    Really liked this . I've tried several other tutorials of this stitch and this was very clear. I did rewind and rewatch the turns at the ends several times.

    I was just about to make a comment about how fast this video is and that it’s not really for beginners, but I see so many have already made similar comments. So instead I would just like to say, that you seem like you really know what you’re doing. But please take the advice from the commenters so that others can know what you’re doing. Beautiful stitch work by the way.

    I love this stitch and your tutorial! I'm sorry you've had so many negative comments. I guess they don't know how to slow down the speed, pause, back up or skip ahead. I didn't catch the mistake with the sc vs the hdc. There could have been a note on the screen or in the description regarding it but I did a full dishcloth and it isn't too noticeable. I am a beginner and found your video so useful. I've watched so many other videos that I could not follow at all! Thank you for your video!!

    End of row 2 you did a half double crochet, not a single crochet as stated.

  • @nancyswartz9294
    @nancyswartz9294 5 лет назад +8

    On the end of row 2, when I get to the last stitch, your say to do a single crochet, but I see you doing 1 half double crochet. Which is it? I keep coming out with the wrong amount of stitches.

    Where did you get your ring? I like it. Video is fast in some areas. Need to show a few more times in a row

  • @tinaanderson3218
    @tinaanderson3218 4 года назад +2

    You said sc at the end of row 2 but you did a half double. You also say in the beginning of the 3rd to yarn over and pull through even though you didn’t do that. Very confusing for a beginner

    This stitch is count by 2 and add 1 at the end. 2nd stitch from the hook and you should have 6 loops on your hook and you crochet thru the last post of the star before you crochet thru the chain the star is attached too. I'm sorry, your pattern is off alil.
