Thank you!! I have been crocheting since I was quite young but never learned the proper way to do the stitches!! Just watched my grandmothers both crochet like crazy and always wanted to do the same things!! So I came up with my own styles!! But they showed me the chain and how to begin. I just never knew anything beyond. So now I’m trying to actually learn some accurate ways of doing projects. This time I’m trying the wash cloths! Thank you! It’s a little bit fast for me!! But that’s the beauty of video that you can always pause and repeat over and again 😂❤

I like the way you do your knots. I've tried many different things but what I like best is I lay the 2 pieces side by side with the cut ends together and make a single loop knot (overhand knot) with both pieces together. Then after I've crocheted past it a bit, I untie it. Later I weave it in.

This was SO helpful! Once u get the pattern, it’s a no brainer! But it’s hard to find my way back if I get off track or lose the loop lol I had to start over multiple times. That’s the nature of learning! Trial and error. Thank you for sharing such a clear how-to!

Hey Crystal, watched this again, hopefully will be able to crochet soon once healed from both surgeries, need to get Christmas gifts started!! I really like this stitch!! Easy one row repeats are great!! I do kitchen gift sets, so need easy things to make fast!! Include towels from dollar stores.
Everyone I’ve ever given these sets to love them!! Want more!! lol
Also do bathroom gift sets. I do for both women and men!! My son loves his kitchen towel, pot holders/ scrubbies, dish cloth sets!! I’ve also made him holiday themed ones
The sets would make great craft show items to sell!! Very little cost and easy to make. I also make no button self close towel holders sometimes to go with the sets, to hang on the oven or a rack. They crochet up fast too.
Can also make them for the bathroom. For hand towels.
Get a basket from dollar store, add a wash cloth or two folded nice, some face scrubbies, a hand towel w the holder, maybe a nice bottle of hand lotion or a pretty soap, maybe a small candle n the basket is complete!! W wonderful thoughtful gift. Maybe add a shower gel that you’ve liked and think the person might like also. I have a fav from Oil of Olay, it’s kinda pricey but it is wonderful n smells sooooo good
These are just some ideas I’ve come up with as gifts that have been BIG HITS for me…

I not going to be able to send all my wash cloths to Rose as postage is a bear!
