First :)
I don't get Facebook messages, you must ask your question here
Can't sleep either? I love this dish cloth! I want to make a bigger one to put on the side of my dish rack. I have a mat there now, but I want to be able to switch them out, so I can wash one while the other one is being used..thank you Crystal!
Still laughing at this post!!
First? I'm sure you cheated.
Hi crystal i wanted to ask if you can make another tutorial on how to make a baby footie pajama-jeff
Chrystal, I have been crocheting for well over 40 years, although I am prominently a knitter. I have to say, you are a wonderful teacher. Your instructions are very clear, you go at a great speed and your style is very relaxed. I do believe that after knitting over 65 years and crocheting over 40 years, you are the best tutor I have come across. Thank you, so much for doing this.
This washcloth has a lovely texture. I turned to YT to look for more patterns for washcloths, dishcloths, wash rags, etc. I'm glad this one showed up in the recommended videos in the search. Long time subscriber here & one more project I'll happily add to my list of wash rags I'm looking to make. The 100% cotton ones I've made held up far better than any store bought washcloths ever did... and the ones I made still look brand new, despite more than 20 years of daily use & 2 children later lol. Trust me, make your own... they hold up way better & clean far better then the mass-produced factory-garbage sold in stores. They also make great gifts. Such a simple thing but our family & friends really love the cotton items I've made for their homes, even the kids & teens love having their own items in their favorite colors... no arguing or squabbling over whose cloth or towel it is 😉
You know, when I watch tutorials for other projects, I oftentimes find myself thinking “I wish Bag-O-Day had a tutorial on this specific project so that I could understand it.”
You present things in such an easy, detailed, clear way without any fanfare. You have an understanding of the kind of things inexperienced crocheters might have problems with, and you very clearly point out exactly how to identify things.
Thank you for all the time you gift to us!🥰
absolutely agree
Beautiful TRUTHS shared....Crystal is a GEM in ALL areas of her giving LIFE ❣
YES! are a few creators who don't talk, don't ever tell you the name of the stitch....how can I find a Crystal tutorial without the name of the stitch???????
@@KellyValdez-yj6mb Exactly!! 😁
She's great!!
Love this stitch. Interesting enough to keep you engaged, yet simple enough that you can Netflix and chill or carry on a conversation.
Wow! That's really good to know.
Perfect! Just bought cotton yarn yesterday to make dishrags. If you've read my mind please don't be frightened. It's very noisy in there 🤣. Thanks for all you do. Much appreciated

Rewatching this in full with my Mum who is learning to crochet at the age of 79! She’s been so inspired by all the things I’ve learnt to make from you over the years Crystal and wanted to join your yarny family so I’ve subscribed her 😂🤟🇬🇧
You are a fantastic teacher.
You are an excellent teacher, love these tutorials!!!
I love how you explain every step! Very patient!
These work so well!! Make great gift sets too!
You are such a blessing to us crocheters out here. Thank you for all that you do and contribute.
I really like that stitch. Gonna have to give it a try, small projects is just what I need. Thanks a bunch, Crystal!
Thanks Crystal..I love that I can always go back and get tutorials on what I need to make at anytime..
Can’t sleep tonight, I guess I should make myself useful and crochet! Thanks for the tutorial!!!
I have some cotton yarn, I didn’t know what I wanted to make and this is it. Thanks again Crystal.
Thank you Crystal! I always have such a hard time spacing out the sc down and then up the other side! I see how clearly you do it, and that is very helpful to me. I have had a few orders from family to make some for them. Thanks again Crystal!
I love this stitch so much!! Absolutely gorgeous! I'm making dish rags for gifts, and I know these will be loved! ❤
I LOVE this Stitch. Besides several wash clothes, have used it to make a hat, a scarf and a headband.
Love your tutorials!
I have made soooooo many of these now; LOVE this stitch/design/pattern... and so does everyone else who get them! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for these tutorials! I’m practicing new stitches by making dish clothes. Your lessons are by far the most clear and easy to follow along!
My closed captioning keeps saying "oyster egg" when she says wash rag and it's bringing me so much joy. 😂 thanks for the tutorial!!! Hopefully my mom likes these
This just became my favorite dishcloth pattern. It's really fun to make and has great texture. Thank you! ❤️
I love this. Been looking for a new washcloth pattern thank you this is amazing looking and pretty simple to make. Thank you Crystal!!
OMG I'm so in love with this stitch. On my way to making some of these for gifts. Thank you.
I love how you take your time and showing how the things are done. I’ve seen a lot of videos and sometimes get frustrated because I can’t catch on to how they’re doing things and I really wanted to try something simple but haven’t really been able to find anything. With so many videos out there I just want to thank you for taking your time in the videos to show exactly how it’s done and repeating it not just going onto the next step. Thank you!
I like this stitch pattern! I appreciate you going slow to learn the pattern. Love your tutorials and yarn hauls. ❤ you are an Excellent teacher.
Those are beautiful washcloths. ♥️🧶
Very nice Crystal! I think I’ll make one today! I have so much cotton yarn that I usually have one crochet and one knit cloth going all the time. They are so much fun and a great way to learn new stitches. Not to mention we use them all the time. I love the way you clean up the edges. It’s not so hard when you don’t have to have a certain number of stitches. As long as it lays flat and looks good that’s what counts. Thanks for sharing!
Washcloth projects are always in my bag so I have something to do when I'm out in about. Love this stitch!
Me too. Dish cloths & bibs are my travel work. Something easy & small to always keep in my pocket. Lol
Thanks Crystal, another fine piece. Will add this to my ever growing list.
Thought I’d share for my “yarnies” : This is a great gift for friends or family that have just redone their kitchens!!!! I look forward to making my own set!!!! Thanks for the detailed video!!!!!
Just finished a washcloth with this stitch and pattern, it turned out great. Thank you for this tutorial!
I absolutely LOVE 2 and 3 row repeats! I’ll be making up a couple of these for a house warming party this weekend

Thank you Crystal for another great pattern!
This is my favorite stitch for wash or dish rags!! I made some when you first did this tutorial and I found it again so I'm working on a set now. It's a fun stitch to do and you teach it so well. Thanks Crystal
Just love this stitch. I enjoy watching your tutorials very much. Not only do you verbally explain what your doing but you are great with visual aid as well. I’m a senior and a late starter but you helped me so much. Thanks so much
Brilliant! I'm completely new to crochet. Still trying to get my chains a uniform size!! But I'm going to make some of these cloths for my friend, my elderly neighbour and a few for myself. I love these and you're a great teacher. Not everyone can teach but you CAN! I'm a fan!
Thank you for the tutorial Crystal. I like having different patterns for washcloths.❤

Very pretty love that stitch. Thank you Crystal for the video. I have a lot of cotton yarn so I’m all set to make these.
Omg.... I can't believe I stumbled onto this without searching. I saw place mats with this stitch and wanted to make some but I didn't know the stitch and hadn't yet searched for it. I was also going to make plain washcloths and napkins but now I think I'll make them using this stitch. Thank you so much for this video!👍😊
I'm so glad you're a night owl too lol I was working on wash cloths for my sister, I did a heart and was searching for more and got your notification! It's perfect!!
I just love your videos...please don't stop. You are a blast at picking up others spirits. Your husband is also a lot of fun. Keep videos coming....God Bless

I love it! It works up so quickly! I'm a slow crocheter these days and this only took about 2 hours for me.
I use your dishrag into a kitchen towel. Because I liked the stitch that you use for it.
I just watched your tea-towel tutorial and ordered some I love this cotton in autumn I think. And now I am also gonna make some of these dish clothes in with some lily sugar and cream to go with it for my new house. Thank you for these tutorials.
Love this stitch, making a blanket with it , looks real good with this stitch. Love when you go shopping for yarn, makes me want to crochet. Keep up the good work you do.

Thank you so much for a great tutorial, I love that you take your time and repeat the steps. Thank you❤️
Love this pattern. I made your little dress tea towel you put on stove handle, so made this dishrag to go with it. Giving it to my Pastor and his wife . We are making them a basket full of household items like cleaning supplies, papertowels, etc. So I'm adding this to their basket. Thank you for sharing. I love everything you make ❤
So much better than the plain 'ole single crochet washcloths I've made!!! Thank you fir the video!
Love it, it looks like the cabbage patch stitch. I was just watching and this was the next video. I was looking for ideas for. Graphghan without having all the traditional stitches everyone uses..
Thank you so much. I was needing a new stitch for dish cloths. Your bib pattern & dish cloths are my travel work. Thank you for making such great learning videos!!

This is great!!! My soon to be daughter in law wanted me to make her dish cloths for Christmas. So greatfull for this tutorial. Thank you Crystal
I’m new at this and learning from RUclips thanks for this one I was able to follow along and it turned out better than most things I have made so far! For some reason even though my stitch count is even my project is never square. I love the texture on this one too!!
@Karen Allen. If you're fairly new to crochet, your washcloths are probably not square due to your tension. It just takes practice to develop even tension. Before you know it, your items will start to get better and better. One thing I had a problem with was my foundation row being too tight. Then as I continued to crochet, my tension would loosen up and I'd end up with an oddly shaped square, rectangle, whatever. One thing I did (and still do) is to crochet the foundation chain with a hook one size larger than what I'll use in the rest of the pattern. Switch to the smaller hook after the foundation chain and continue on. This helped me not have a finished project that flared outwards from the foundation row. I hope this helps a bit. The key is just to keep on crocheting. Your tension will improve with practice..... It's like this for everyone in the beginning. Don't despair! This is normal. 🙂🧶
This is a great new stitch, so pretty! Made my wash rag and will surely use this stitch in an afghan someday!!
Great pattern and you give clear easy to follow instructions. These make great gifts. Thank you.
