I want to learn to do the Tunisian stitch, but I find when I try using the cotton yarn to make a dishcloth, I have a hard time finding the back bumps, should they be that hard to find with this yarn? Every tutorial that I've watched where they use cotton yarn their back bumps looked so prominent; I don't see them that good if at all on my chains. Any suggestions on what I might be doing wrong would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there, I'm thinking it might have to do with your tension. Do you crochet more tightly or loosely? If you crochet more loosely, I would recommend going down a hook size and seeing if that helps with finding the back bumps. Also, the cotton/linen blend yarn I used is more on the softer side, so maybe a mercerized cotton yarn might work better. It's a stiffer yarn and it might be easier to see the back bumps (more prominent). I hope that helps. Good luck! 😊✨
