Great informative video! You forgot to mention NE Garland, Lennar has a new community called Riverplace and we just bought a new construction home and it’s close to downtown Dallas
Hey!! I went to Savannah on November...gorgeous homes, the water games are fun, and the homes remind me of Hesperia at Desperate Housewives show...really cute!! The police station is right there, great gym house with sauna and they have a meeting building and cafeteria...its awesome. McKinney is really nice too...packing and getting ready to move...yeehaww
This was a good but what about south Dallas, and the Arlington, Grand Prairie, Kennedale, Mansfield, Irving areas? I see a lot of realtors always leave these out.
@@sheilac.7173 You're not going to find a newly constructed home for that price in Dallas area. You'll be lucky to find a 30-plus-year-old home for that.
Is it safe to assume the up & coming areas mentioned will be absorbed into Dallas via high property taxes? Is $7-8k annually for property taxes on 300k sound accurate? If that is the case I’ll have nearly bought the home twice after 30 years just in property taxes, but we have a right to homeownership in America, I’m confused.
Hi Dana, I would be careful about jumping on the Bloomfield homes bandwagon because I recently bought a Bloomfield home in Viridian and I would say they went super cheap on materials. The house is 4 yrs old and has roof pieces falling off, the carpet is worse than builders grade ( I replaced all of it), all of the fixtures are super cheap, I will replace those next, the a/c is not centered in the house so one end of the house freezes while the other end cannot cool down. I’m going to fix it all but I should have bought a new David Weekly home because it just was a much better built house. Also, some of these cities you mention have houses in 500-1.25 m Flower Mound, McKinney these have some pricey homes for sure. Take Care!
David Wilganoski I haven’t had those kind of issues w/ Bloomfield, but I know each sales counselor has complete control of their community and the profit they make. It’s probably more of a sales counselor thing than Bloomfield. Most builders don’t have anywhere near the same model as Bloomfield which is so interesting. Who was the sales counselor? Also I hope to highlight the $500K-$1M communities soon too 😃
Hi Isabelle, I think they are fine. They are starting to pop up more and more. I have never contracted on a Chesmar, so while I have seen them, I haven't personally walked the process with them yet.
Mea YC absolutely! If you fill out my Dream home questionnaire we can set up a zoom call 😃 docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdI6NocpbwmbmazejcMxcL7PrrnNZjdmiHAVn9FF9lefssgaw/viewform
This is my kind of video. If you were to choose for yourself would you pick Inspiration in Wylie/St Paul or Trinity Falls in Melissa? Which area is better? I like everything around me to feel new lol
Dana Pollard Your Moving to Texas Guide Does Inspiration have a lot of room for development and growth once you leave the community? Do you see shopping, retail and restaurants coming to that area? I drove through the Dallas area recently and fell in love with Windsong Ranch but it’s a little outside my budget unless I were to go with one of the townhomes there. I prefer to buy an actual home. That whole stretch up the Dallas North Tollway was pretty amazing. But Inspiration and Wylie is something I’m definitely going to look into.
Hello, I’m a disabled veteran looking to relocate to the DFW area next spring. How soon should I be contacting you? You have a great energy. I would love to work with you.
Thank you for your service! We work with many veterans and would happy to assist. The first step is to fill out the dream home questionnaire, then you will get an email to schedule either a Texas Tuesday call with me or a one-one-one consultation with one of my agents on my team. Thank you!
Hi Anand, Thanks for you comment. All over DFW it is appreciating. Even the not so nice areas are going up in value. Depending on the budget, the further North you go the faster it appreciates. But up North the starting budget will have to be much higher. It's an investor's preference. Some investors like the less expensive properties because they can keep them rented longer, others like the higher quality tenants that are usually just passing through with a year lease. The southern part of Dallas is in the beginning stages of revitalization, as the government is channeling foreign EB5 money to that area. It may make a great long term investment.
Yes and one of my buyers agents worked for them before coming on board with me. I like them. The model of business is very different from most other builders as the sales counselor has a lot of power in the community. With that, some neighborhoods great fantastic reviews and other bad.
Hi Dana, my name is Chantal. I am in orange country ca and selling my Anaheim home. I am planning to move Texas. I’ve lived near the pacific coast since 1968. I’m done with ca and wish to retire in the country near mountains. Would love water near by but fear the Texas coast due to hurricanes. Near a lake would be great and space for privacy. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks for your videos. 👩🏻🦳
It's a pretty safe bet that a new home will be in an HOA. It's hard to find homes built over the last 25 years that are not in an HOA. It's possible, but takes more effort to find.

How about $200,000 to $300,000? Please do a video on new construction in this price range.
I’m going to try to do several price ranges, so yes I’m going to try 😃
@@movingtotexas hi! It’s a year later! Did you make a video with newer home in this price range? If so, can you link it below? Thank you!

These dream homes feel so affordable, especially after living in London my whole life!
King K yes I bet from London!
In London you can maybe purchase a closet under the stairs for $500,000
Again, good information! I’ve lived here a long time and I learned some things from your video!
👍👍
Great video!! Nice communities there in the North Texas area!! 💯

What about new constructions around Arlington ?
Viridian is the hotspot! Otherwise you would have to go further out to Mansfield or so. Unless you want a custom build. Arlington is mostly built out.
