The Sanguinor is an oddly heartwarming part of the usually unforgiving universe. It's either a benevolent daemon birthed from the Blood Angels brothers' collective love for their Primarch and noble spirit, or a piece of Sanguinius's soul preserved to aid his sons in their darkest hours. Either way, Sanguinius left a legacy that is more than sons as cursed as they're noble, but a glimmer of hope and love persevering.
Not all tears should be born of sorrow & lamentation. also with mephiston, he also has to keep the darkside in check because while he did the rubicon primaris thingy, he wasn't gonna make it. while asleep, mephiston spoke to a being that looked like sanguinius telling him that he should keep fighting and showed a vision if he did not make the crossing of becoming primaris, he will be possesed and fight for chaos as a daemon. i read this in the "darkness in the blood" book which i highly recommend to blood angels fans
I personally like to think The Sanguinor is actually a piece of Sanguinius' soul that is able to manifest when those with his Gene-Seed need it the most. Similiar to how people think The Legion of the Damned are the vengeful souls of the Astartes killed in the battles of Istvaan
Well the LotD have been adding to their numbers over time, and their spokesman even said that the tithe needs paid. The legion has forcefully dragged astartes into their ranks before. When they have appeared against Emperor's Children there is always a LotD Contemptor Dreadnaught that looks exactly like Rylanor's charging into them. So it isn't just the Istvaan astartes in that legion for sure.
If I’m not mistaken the identity of the person was revealed to be a random Blood Angel who name was removed from official records in one the recent novels.

Saguinor has the good and noble part of the blood angels, and Mephiston holds the dark piece. So if they meet and Fuse Sanguinius is probably back in some capacity. Like a warp Angel entity made of blood. LOL write before watch the video. But yeah. Thats it.
MY question regarding what empowers the two angles is simple. Is the reason the Lamenters almost never fall to the Black Rage due to how they are the most kind and Noble Chapter of Sanguinius?
Didn't he also appear alongside Sanguinius to Dante just before he was about to kark it? So it seems that the Sanguinor can interact with Sanguinius' soul, or what's left of it, and aid people through some psychic connection? Unless Dante was just tripping absolute balls and had a vision that his dad and cousin were there, but I doubt it. Also Sanguinius must have quite a bit of power left in him after his death.
Dante is an incredibly insane level of power for any astartes. He hasn't just come back from the Black Rage once, this mad ladd has done it at least three times if memory serves! It is no wonder Sanguinor was willing to meet with him and talk to him, Dante is proof the Black Rage can be overcome.
The interesting thing that makes this is all work is that the warp makes all of this possible because of its time fucky nature. Honestly blood Angel and Night lords are probably the two most interesting space marine factions
I head cannon that each Angel warp entity is 0.75 of the power of the warp deities in the other Primarchs but the two combined put Sanguinius at a 1.5 of power above his 1.0 brothers.
But the Sanguinor beat Ka'Bandha and if the Sanguinor represents either the entirety or part of the Angel Of Light then Sanguinius would be much more powerful which he wasnt. I actually think that individually the two Angels were stronger than most of the other warp entities the Emperor rangled up, and that the two angels together actually become weaker than thier parts as they are fighting each other for order. The reason the Emperor chose both was because having only one of the Angels would have been problematic to his plans, give Sanguinius just the Angel of Light and you would probably have a being unwilling to go along with the darker apsects of the emperors plan and the opposite way would have probably lead to a Sanguinius Heresy.
@@nathanthom8176 Quite right. Though, I might counter that the Sanguinor has been an object of reverence and focus for some 10,000 years now. And if the same rules apply as with other warp entities, it's very possible that in those 10,000 years of reverence and adulation, the focus of all Blood Angels more or less during that whole period, could have amplified the power that the Sanguinor possesses to being about Ka'Bandha tier Sanguinius.

Considering that time works differently in the warp when sanguinius saw him jump in and become holy fire could that be him becoming sanguinius' conduit for real space? Like sanguinius saw the sanguinor get sort of possessed by his own soul in the future? Kind of like how csm's will allow a demon to possess them? They both exist in the same form giving both entitys access to real space
Great video as always. I wonder if you have a video that goes in depth about your head cannon about the primearcs and the warp entities they used to be. Love ya❤

Thats a great question.... My opinion is; Demons are basically sentient pieces of a chaos god. So when they are banished, their power is probably reabsorbed by said god, with the demon having to 'earn' their power back, hence why demons can take decades to centuries to reappear. The only exceptions are thr gods favored, like the demon primarchs and other Champions. This would also explain why they are afraid of the Anethema, as he can 'kill' that power permanently, hence burning a chunk of the god away forever.
no, they return to their god (as a shard of their power) after they're banished and they will reform after some time and by some time i mean a shit ton of time unless their god favors them and put in extra efforts to have them returned to physical form, like Angron now just returns in like 8 days (?) after completing Khorne's blood curse
Yes and no. If their god lets them respawn like normal than not really but if it’s a particularly favoured daemon then the god will sometimes put extra energy into getting that one back into the game a lot quicker. That usually takes some energy to do so. Khorne is currently getting supercharged right now which is what allows him to give Angron his quick 8 day respawn timer.
Man, i just really wish sangy wasnt dead. After reading the horus heresy books, hes just so hard not to like. I mean, a tortured angelic hero who is a good person even though it would be so easy for him to give in to his unique temptations. It just speaks to how good he really was, because its harder to be good when the bad is such a strong part of who you are. Not to mention, his dialog in the books is just so likable. Nobody hated sanguinius. And he wasnt just a peacock like fulgrim, the dude was an angel while still be an absolute monster of a warrior. Personally, i think he would have been the best and strongest of all the primarchs if allowed to continue living. RIP sangy
I think it’d be hard to say that gulliman has a chaos god in him. Or dorn. They’re both the complete opposite of chaos gods or warp entities in general.
The Immaterium wasn't always the complete mess it is now and there were probably plenty of order/nurture/kindness like beings/god's at some time. Add in the fact that time is weird in the warp and technically it would be possible to pull out something from before the warp went tits up.
The problem I see with this theory is that ot would mean the angel of light left Sanguinius before his death to merge with the original Sanguinor, which would quite heavily imply a loss of power for Sanguinius. That would then make it hard to explain how he still could absolutely crush everything in his path during the battle for Terra.
That is assuming that both angels housed within Sanguinius had an accumative effect on his power, it could have been the opposite, the Angels could potentially lose power housed within Sanguinius as each fights for dominance. This would make the lack of power difference make sense but ultimately it is a poor theory because although my suggestion helps in the relative power/strength arguments, it doesn't address that Sanguinius would have surely changed in his behaviours/personality without the White Angel to balance the dark one.
I'm honestly betting that the next primarch to return will be sanguinious. In guillimans emperium secundus he was the tax collector, the lion was the commander of the armies. And sanguinious was the emperor.
SANGUINIUS didn’t really lose the first fight with Ka’Banda more a shit ton of his sons died which knocked him out. But up to that point the glorious hawk boy was winning.
I feel its a spirit attemping to lead the former legion to a better future and or the revival of sanguinius himself like...an after-imagine of someone who lost thier body and possibly memory and in doing so the full rebirth of sanguinius himself
I wanna see a video of how chaos primarchs would have handled the Imperium in Guilliman's place, had they been loyalist. Also, dope video as usual MK. 👌

Superb video as always @majorkill. Could you make a video dedicated to the Navigators, the major houses, their politics, relation to the overall Imperium and factions, etc
Sanguinor when arrives, it win the mission and many blood angels die instead being obliterated. If the Sanguinor wasn't a Warp Entite, he probably be the Chapter Master of the Lamenters hahaha
They are most certainly pawn pieces on a board IMO. Sanguinius' spirit is most certainly still alive, and his foresight is who knows how much more powerful after his death, but he is empowering Mephiston, and deploying the Sanguinor. We don't really need Sanguinius to be physically resurrected, as a warp entity, he can be EVERYWHERE at once and communicate with any of his children, and if necessary, warp in the Sanguinor to fight his battles. Living, would just nerf his incredibly more useful strategic value.
I think the Sanguinor is the avatar of Sanguinius. Not Sanguinius but his essence and ideal. He is a Herald and nothing more. Just a beautiful protector and I believe will merge with Dante to resurrect Sanguinius.

What tactics did each primarch use individually while in combat apart from their legion? Like how Angron was a gigantic chainsaw while Sanguinius was as graceful as an angel with ferocity of Satan.
I think this is a cool af concept of Sanguinius and his split into his 2 of his sons with some warp jazz, oh also with Dante in the middle being dragged along because the dude can’t catch a break 😂
Hands down my favorite video on WH 40K and one of my favorite characters
Hello Majorkill,
Would you please make some lore videos on the Imperial Truth, the Imperial Creed, the Ecclesiarchy, and the High Lords of Terra? Pretty please? Thank you.
Just finished Devastation of Baal book. This came out right on time
best part about 40k is, the big baddies are called Chaos, not Evil. So they do funny and cool shit all the time as well as horrible and depraved.
Thx for presenting this partner again. I brought my Set today and hope it will help me. Thanks for the last kick
Lore on Ecclesiarchy, Imperial Navy, High Lords, and Mutants
Thanks for the tactics code seems you and West hammer still are at it. You both this weekend pretty much the same codes and you both let us prior users who've been playing the game since they wouldn't have them or dated hour that works but thank you none of the less for your content in your humor. And the code
Sanguinius might be the last primarch of the imperium to be revived
A video of the top ten community made wholesome moments would be great
Now we need Sanguinor vs Belakor! Top-tier Daemon Princes in a brutal battle for hating each other's guts! We don't need whatever planet they end up fighting on anyway.
Love ya❤
Considering the Blood Angels warp travel on the ghetto side of the galaxy and Sanguinalla I like to think Dante is Santa and the Sanguinor and Mephiston are Rudolph. Now to my usual sacrifice.
Day 345 of requesting a Commissar Yarrick Major Mini pls and thank you.
Question regarding Kabunda: Does a demon being banished (in the physically-destroyed-but-not-annhiliated sense) drain the energy of their chaos god?
I think it dosen't, rather it takes energy to recreate them, or atleast that's my headcanon
isn't it that demons of the chaos gods are(/contain) a small fragment of their god? I think that then dying destroys that piece causing the god damage
This would also explain why they are afraid of the Anethema, as he can 'kill' that power permanently, hence burning a chunk of the god away forever.
no, they return to their god (as a shard of their power) after they're banished and they will reform after some time
and by some time i mean a shit ton of time unless their god favors them and put in extra efforts to have them returned to physical form, like Angron now just returns in like 8 days (?) after completing Khorne's blood curse
Grim Derp.
This needs to be a series.
A TV series about the Sanguinor would be awesome.
I have had this exact theory since third edition. Glad you think the same way major
I could have swore that as sanguinius was leaving the fight and the sanguinor was taking his place he saw the sanguinor grow wings
Hey Majorkill,
You should make a video about what you think the end game of WH40K will be. Might be sick asf
MK touches on that in the video, the warp doesn't care for time. Can exist simultaneously.
Wha if Clonegrim returned how'd the imperium react, how'd it impact the setting?
Video idea: Different primarchs versions of the realms of Ultramar
Right off the bat, an injured angel while the Arch-traitor standing over him.
Making me considering getting the Sanguinor as a model for my army
All this would make for such a great Anime. One can dream
If an enemy manages to piss off both the light and dark God of Baal like Kabanda or the Tyranids, they are going to be seriously screwed.
A sanguinor major mini would be dope
I feel its a spirit attemping to lead the former legion to a better future and or the revival of sanguinius himself like...an after-imagine of someone who lost thier body and possibly memory and in doing so the full rebirth of sanguinius himself
I wanna see a video of how chaos primarchs would have handled the Imperium in Guilliman's place, had they been loyalist.
Also, dope video as usual MK. 👌
A golden hawk boy with a belt full of grenades. Gotta love the blood angels
Warm Turkey 😆. What a badass entity. Appreciate more light being shed on this dude! And the blood angels seem pretty juiced right now. Make a vid of low key powerful librarians/sorcerers from unsuspecting chapters/legions
Epic Video Fulgrim, as always!
Make a vid we’re you describe how you would be your own emperor and how you would make your own super soldier and how you would run things in you empium
The suicide mission was a punishment for reasons lost to imperial record. The seargent who survived was some npc called Dante. I wonder what happened to him.
Day 2 of asking Majorkill to make a video on each legion's best accomplishment/battle/victory
Lamenters: Oh yeah... that guy.....heard about that guy....I wish I got to see him...
Legends state that the Emperor will return to save humanity the day MajorKill learns to pronounce Mephiston
When is the Golden Nipple Boi MajorMini being released?
Superb video as always @majorkill.
Could you make a video dedicated to the Navigators, the major houses, their politics, relation to the overall Imperium and factions, etc
Blood Angels kinda have a history of jumping into weird warp shit for Sanguinius
Don’t think I’ll ever be able to choose a favorite between Blood Angels and Alpha Legion.
You should have spun the camera 360 degrees around your body in the intro ad when you said "we are only human after all."
