A brilliant conversion, and very skillfully executed. One little niggle at 4:48 with your use of a knife blade in a demonstration video. I don't think younger RUclips viewers, or inexperienced modelers should be encouraged to use a sharp knife in this manner. In my humble opinion, cutting towards any fleshy parts of your body is very unsafe. I prefer to use a small clamp, one designed for holding difficult and delicate shapes, the sort jewelers use for soldering and filing etc. Really hope you don't mind me mentioning this 🤔👍
Hey man, it's commonly known among craftsmen that its less safe pushing the blade away from you as you have less control of the blade and it's way easier to slip. If you've got kids watching crafting videos, please show them how to control the tool in a safe and controlled environment instead of not letting them use them at all and never gaining the skill.
Amazing, Lukas! Don't sell yourself short, we want to see all the brush strokes, not just the speed run. Very strong "paint the rest of the f**king owl" vibes here. :)
Loved the whole process. If I have one criticism, it’s that the wings look phoned in compared to the rest of the outstanding work. A very minor detail.

Looks great! I feel that some of the illusion of flight that makes the original so special was lost in the conversion though. If the feet pointed down it would help a lot. Not to mention if you could could build a purity scroll around some steel reinforcement and use that to connect to the ground instead of the feet.
Considering I am just as good in conversion as my 1 year old daughter, I am impressed how you achieved to integrate all these different parts at a point we can't notice it is not a real GW kit. For instance, the back pack + the wings... wow ! How much time did you spent just for the conversion ? Oh and well, just tell Emil he is the lazy guy. He is not even in the video... Don't let him bother you like this Lucas !

The blood angels 5th models were coming out when I started and it just felt amazing that non space wolves marines were getting that type of unique treatment and looked incredible. NMM still felt like this new unreachable thing and then Sanguinor being painted like that was wild. When those start getting replaced I'll truly know I'm getting old. I dont know if it's just nostalgia, but theres something really special about the minis from around then. I should get a Sanguinor and Lamartes just to have them.
I love the sculpting, love the armour and the attention to detail on all the nmm even though I’m not a fan of nmm but the wings just look awful, everything else finished to such a high standard and they look like they’ve just been base coated and forgotten about
I am less scared of airbrushing, but the other day I had an absolute nightmare with some Heresy terminators. I couldn't get the tamiya to flow properly, so I abandoned it and the white I used instead just came through in fits and starts. When I finally got to laying down the base colours, none of them came through correctly, couldn't get the mix of paint to thinner ratio correct, the whole session was absolutely shocking. Went back the next day and started again and everything was easy and fine again.
