Mother talks moment her son came face-to-face with Uvalde school shooter

- An 8-year-old boy says he came face-to-face with the shooter who tragically took the lives of 21 victims at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas Tuesday.
That boy saved his classmates and his teacher by warning them before the shooter got to that room. Hes a hero because he payed attention to his surroundings.
This womans son is a damn HERO. Thats incredible the second grader acted so quickly and confidently.
That child saved that classroom full of children, he knew to run and to tell. My heart breaks for all the families that lost children
What a smart youngster. His quick assessment of the shooter as a threat and the fact that he articulated it so quickly to the teacher save the whole classroom. I hope he can readjust and live a normal life after this horrible situation.
I can’t imagine the pain of having to wait in that crowd of parents and not know if your child is alive or not. My heart goes out to the parents who’s children did not come out

These poor kids will have PTSD for quite some time. I hope they're able to find a good therapist to help them navigate their feelings. The Mom here in the video is so sweet, reassuring, and supportive.
