Dude!! I love how defensive you are of Bobby!! You really have his back through the entire movie. The funniest shit i've seen in all movie reactions was your defense of Bobby at the dinner table, tellin mama to let him go to school etc, then mama says, "yeah and my ass is tired of sittin here jawin all night, im goin to bed." and you respond with, "ok go to bed bye we dont need you!" Dude!! You were so emotionally invested in that conversation it was if you were sittin there at the table and you had enough of negative mama stifling your friend Bobby. Just the way you snapped that comment off to mama had me in tears, rewinding it over and over with stomach aching laughter!! Its what makes your reactions my favorite!! You put yourself in the movie through your interactions with the characters. Too bad you didn't go to my highschool, you would have been welcomed at our lunch table any time. I was a Bully-Buster who stood up for and protected the different, special, slow, weaker or nerdy kids. When they found that i had their backs they would say hi to me in the hall and they always got a, HEY or WHATS UP back from me. i have a zero tolerance for bullying. It even bothers me when i see a kid walking home from school alone. I cant help but wonder if he was picked on. I was a football stud growin up but my best friend/teammate quit our sophomore year to pursue a career in weed smoking. I regret it lookin back, only because i had my whole life to smoke weed but i was a damn good football player. This meant i had a lot of backing by the jocks to my bully-busting, so by steppin up to do the right thing and leading by example, i'd say bullying at my school hit an all time low. Kinda funny when an ex-baller and picked on slow kid named Homer would get scolded for talkin and laughin in the back row during class. Made me feel pretty damn good knowin that getting scolded for talkin and laughin during class was probably a first for that kid but more importantly, made him feel like ONE OF THE GUYS.

another good comedy that came out around that time is "Tommy Boy". Sandler has some great movies. always a great time watching them.
Tommy Boy came out in 1995. This movie was released (1998) a year after the great Farley passed away. Never forget 😔

Kathy Bates was so awesome! Adam sandier sent her the script, she read the first few pages and threw it in the bin. But her niece fished it out and begged her to read it and star in it. Kathy said it was the most fun she’s ever had when shooting a film! I can’t imagine another mama bouche

I love his movies. Every one has a great soundtrack. Seems like the majority of his movies are underdog movies. The Wedding Singer is my fave and the best 80s soundtrack of all.. 50 First Dates, Billy Madison, Big Daddy, Grown Ups, Just Go With It, Thats My Boy... All good.

This movie in my opinion was really funny, and with me being a Louisianian, it was even 2x funnier. The stereotypes they used (especially Bobby's accent, dear god lol) were so obsurd, but i was still like, "Still makes sense." 😂

One funny thing to notice about this movie and The Longest Yard is not only the football aspect but the fact that the "Colonel Sanders" character is, I believe, the only reoccurring character in both movies
Favourite part is when everyone is reminiscing on things Bobby Boucher has done and Farmer Fran chimes in and everyone stares at him confused 😆

What I like most about Adam Sandler is he started his own production company(Happy Madison Production) and hired his boys and put them in so many of his movies. You should check out The Wedding Singer sometime

This is more of a kid's movie, but have you ever checked out "Little Giants" man? It's a real fun football movie from the 90's with the underdog theme. Still pretty enjoyable as an adult too.

yelled "YOU CAAN DOOOOEEE IT!! " to a friend in a wrestling match and 2/3 looked at me like i was a R.... and the other 1/3 yelled "YEA!!!" Awesome when others get it and it lessen the embarrassment from all the looks lol...btw, yes he won by technical win, scoring enough point lead for ref to stop the match

If you don't want to cry... don't watch the movie Rudy. Probably one of the best underdog movies. Plus it stars Sean Astin, who you know as Sam Wise from Lord of the Rings. Another good Sean Astin movie that alot of people dont know about is a movie called Toy Soldiers. (1991) Good movie.

The real Rudy was a POS so the fake ass story doesn't do a thing for me. Shoulda just called it what it was- fiction. Then I wouldn't have been so disappointed to learn the real truth
I've never been to Alaska, so I can't really say anything about the cold springs there, or any actual healing properties, but I HAVE been up into Northern Quebec in winter and drunk from a half frozen stream that had a nice looking mini waterfall about twelve feet high. the water pouring down from that little stream was the coolest and freshest I've ever tasted. I even filled up two canteens for the hike back to the cabin. It stayed cool all the way home and that was about 40 minutes to an hour walk. Once inside it only started to warm up. But THAT could also have been the weather conditions keeping it cool.
You’re close enough Patrick. I’ve lived in Alaska for 22 years and those little streams are a gem! There’s one I used to go to that was down along side one of the more rural two lane highways and it constantly ran out of the rock. Someone eventually drilled into the rock to put a stainless steel pipe so it was easier to fill containers. Best water I’ve ever had in my life.
Some people don't like Adam Sandler because he plays dumb in many movies but for real though he's such a loving guy always puts his friends and loved ones first and he's hilarious

If you haven’t seen it already, I highly recommend a movie called “Warrior”. It stars Tom Hardy and Joel Edgerton. It’s a beautiful story and the fight scenes are incredible

Fairuza Balk is go great in this. She isn't afraid to amp up the zany and crazy to meet Sandler. Even though she has limited screen time its funny how she makes the most of every second of it. Even the smallest line.
