      You do realise to make a love triangle, each person has to love someone different? Ones a man who likes a woman, another's a woman who likes another man, and the 3rd man needs to like the 1st man otherwise it's *a literal arrow not a triangle* all corners need to be connected. Did you not attend any of your math classes? I'm guessing most definitely not bc you'd know what a triangle looks like. I've never seen anyone post a comment and look dumber than a 3yo, bc fun fact, pigs who get given those toddler shape toys know what shapes are, and they have the iq of a 3 yo. 🤣🤣

      People cheat all the time, it is part of life. But, most people do not kill their partners who are pregnant - for the second time, mind you - just because they don't want to perform an abortion. This is the act of a vain and empty man, one that doesn't care about the women in his life, he only cares about himself. Let's see how he fares in prison. I hope he goes through hell.

But anything we say is pure speculation and doesn't really make a difference. I mean, why was the other woman staying with a guy that cheated on her a million times? This guy must have had some way to get these women to be involved with him and keep them there. At the end of the day, he wasn't a man and couldn't take responsibility for his actions, so he chose to be less than a human being as well and murder his GF. He's gross AF and that other woman is probably counting her lucky stars.

I idealized him as a child although he was strict and made all the decisions in the house he loved shower us girls with gifts. He would tell us about how great it was there and how when we were older he would take us. We all wanted to go. It wasn't until I was an adult I found out he had molested he's daughter, my aunt. I also didn't realize until I was an adult just how fortunate I am to have been brought up here. Women need more freedom, and desperately need more respect. I don't know enough about South African culture to know if they knew how to use birth control, or if they knew how to use it properly. In certain areas of the United States, sex ed is severely lacking and pushes the "abstinence-only" culture. People will probably have sex anyway. Maybe it's similar in South Africa. I'm not sure.

      Right?! I think we have to consider the cultural element of gender based violence and the rivalry between the two women as well. This was a train wreck in the making. The victim is not to blame in any way, but the danger had to be at least somewhat present in her awareness. I think she trusted a monster like so many young women do. (🙋🏾‍♀️ I’m guilty present and accounted for so that’s not a judgement because I completely understand why she behaved the way she did) I think she believed that he wasn’t capable of such callous behavior, but the thing that I have learned from lived experience is that if you want to be left alone, you also have to leave the other person alone. I don’t believe she would have allowed him to be the deadbeat he wanted to be in peace. We want justice for our children, that’s reasonable, but we have to accept the ugliness of people when we see it and that’s especially difficult when you’re about to give birth to the ugly person’s offspring. Not making an excuse for what he did, he and others like him deserve to be punished and isolated from the rest of the world for what they’ve done, but I think if he thought she would be a quiet sufferer, he would have left her and the baby to fend for themselves, but knowing that she had no intention of allowing him to live down his behavior and responsibilities, he took the violent way out (which in context is not surprising). So unfortunate and disgusting that people are capable of such psychopathic behavior. It’s a hideous reality that women must take into account when in relationship. 😢RIP to Tshegofatso and her precious unborn baby and I pray justice and wisdom for everyone affected. 🫶🏾

      As Voodoochile mentioned you do have to take into consideration the cultural element of GBV and abusers. In many ways the perpetrators of these crimes gain some sense of power, control and satisfaction from the way they treat their victims. I doubt he would have ever walked away. By either him walking away or her walking away he would lose that control and power over her which may have led to the possibility of him escalating due to the anger and frustration that he would have of losing that power and control over her. Yes there might have been a possibility in that scenario as well where he would have left her alone but unfortunately I think that was very unlikely. This was, as Voodoochile said, a train wreck waiting to happen, or as I would put it, a powder keg ready to explode.

    Also ladies especially young ladies, children do not get you a husband or keep a husband, the purpose of having children is not to secure the bag either. I am in no way saying this victim was doing any of that but we have to be careful to acknowledge these things as women. Sometimes our situation or affection for someone can make us believe that being with them even though the relationship is toxic is a good choice it is not.

    Triangular love affairs almost always never end well. And it is useless to put yourself in harm's way or be killed over or by these selfish and brutal monsters who care only about themselves. History is rife with these stories and their outcomes. And this case is especially heartrending because she was in an advance stage of pregnancy. That is as cold-blooded as it gets.

      I believe that some women don’t have or should I say lack the confidence in being by their selfs. I had a high school friend that never seemed to be without a bf. When we got older she was always engaged so someone if felt like. Me, I’m the opposite. I had my share of bf but I also made sure that they understood that I wasn’t going to take any crap from them like screwing around behind my back or a major one DO NOT EVER HIT ME! I don’t care if it was a slight push I was outta that relationship faster than they could “think” to even do it again. Women need to stand up for themselves & not date some dude just because you “want” a bf, you’ll thank yourself in the long run & it may even SAVE YOUR LIFE!! 🇺🇸✌🏻

After all this POS could have just walked away & left her to raise her baby alone like hundreds of thousands do worldwide everyday.. but nah he had to have them both murdered. Not once in your comment have you lay the blame where it belongs, never once called him out, it's all on the victim. She made the mistake of loving this monster but that's all she's guilty of, can't say the same about him.

      @@sharongrigg5336 unfortunately you are wrong. When someone pulls a gun on you and shoots you, are you responsible for having that trigger pulled? No. It will always be the killer's fault. I can talk from personal experience as a victim of abuse myself that it is never that easy to just walk away from your abuser. I was physically, emotionally and psychologically abused by my father and stepmother for most of my life. And yet I kept running back to them because I was kept away from my biological mother by them. They told me it was because she did not want me and in my mind my reasons for constantly running back to my father and stepmother only to suffer at their hands is because I felt like I had nobody else to turn to. Eventually, after managing to reconnect with my mother and learning that she had tried for all those years that my father and stepmother had told me that she didn't want me that she had constantly tried to reach out to see me but because of my father and stepmother's controlling nature I did not see her or speak to her till I was an adult. Even after that I still ran back to my father and stepmother even after they physically attacked me and I thought my life was in danger. It was only after my father physically assaulted me last month that I finally made the decision to cut him and my stepmother out of my life completely. I am even opening up a case against my father for the assault. But it took most of my childhood and my entire adult life to actually get to that point where I walk away. It really isn't as easy as it sounds and that is something you really should have taken into account when writing this comment.

      @@VioletJoy Millions of people have low self worth and don't go on to harm anyone, that's just an excuse. It's also part of most people's personality as life throws many challenges our way. There isn't a magic wand (including therapy) to wave that will prevent all low self worth.

    • @VioletJoy
      @VioletJoy Год назад +1

      @sam johns I'll clarify some things. Not only did I not claim that therapy will prevent all issues of low self-worth, but I also don't believe that to be the case. It can, however, help people in many ways and, in turn, lower the numbers of these violent crimes. That's going to the root of the problem.
      To point out that most who have low self-worth don't go onto murder is misunderstanding the point. Humans are complex creatures, so all don't react the exact same way to similar circumstances. It's a known fact that not all children who experienced abuse growing up will go on to abuse their own children. But, nearly every parent who abuses their child was abused themself.
