San Antonio was rebuilding and wanted to do right by Derrick. They sent him to a championship contender and got what we could. We still love Derrick in SA! Congrats to him!

They started 1&2 doubling and helping Tatum - he turned into a playmaker and the other guys scored at will.. someone was always open in the swing or kick. Games 3-4-5 they sent less and less help and Tatum started dropping 30 bombs and kept the play making up.. they can’t be beat

As a die hard Mavs fan it didn’t matter who had the easier road to the finals. The Celtics ran through everybody including us, not even the nuggets or whoever in the west could’ve stopped this Celtics team this year. The Celtics are so good from their bench and up to the starting 5 it’s insane the team they’ve assembled and how much depth they have at every position. The Celtics what’s scary about them is they have their whole team under contract for the next 3-4 years until they extend their contracts so their gonna be a problem to deal with for multiple years if they all or most of their key players stay healthy. After Game 1 I hate to say it I just knew it was it was over and there was nothing that my Mavs could do to stop them. Respect to the Celtics man you guys are a great team!✊🏻🤝🏻

You could say the same thing last year about Boston vs Denver cause Boston felt like they could’ve matched up better against them than the heat did but you gotta get there and prove it. I think Denver has a really good shot of redemption next year to make it back and Boston does too and we might just see a Celtics and Nuggets finals in 2025 and we’ll see who’s better.
