      And he’s just completely wrong. Jokic isn’t gonna guard Shaq OBVIOUSLY, but Shaq isn’t guarding Jokic either. Jokic will pull him out to the 3 point line in the pick and roll and annihilate him in the 2 man game. These delusional “analysts” think basketball is played one on one. It’s not.

    • @FavreianVengeance
      @FavreianVengeance 3 месяца назад

      @@0207xander Jokic could guard Shaq if he wasn't allowed to lower his shoulder. That's the primary reason that teams had to double is because the NBA didn't follow the rules for Shaq, who was not a good shooter otherwise. That in turn created free threes for the Lakers all the time. If you go back and look at the tape, the Lakers offense was often feed Shaq in the post and then put four guys on the three line. It created an open three on virtually every possession. The Lakers still weren't that good at making them, so a lot of fake fouls for Kobe and Shaq were called as well.

    Jokic is the greatest steal of all time. I mean he’s on a top 10 all time trajectory(if all goes right), and got drafted with the 41st pick. They had a damn Taco Bell commercial playing when he was drafted. Jordan was drafted with the 3rd pick, Hakeem over MJ is obviously wrong but it isn’t as egregious as taking Sam Bowie over MJ. Another underrated one is Greg Oden over KD which was obviously a horrendous pick.

    I personally go with Steph Curry. Even though he was a #7 pick, I think that for his size he more than overachieved: 2x MVPs, 4x Champion, All-Time 3 Point Leader, literally changed the game of basketball. Jokic feels like an obvious choice and while he's overachieved too, I am of the opinion that Big Men are built to dominate the game of basketball and I genuinely feel that everyone his size who has done less has underachieved. For a guy like Steph to do what he's done as a player, for his franchise, for the league, and for the sport, I think that he at least deserves a mention here. Maybe when Jokic's career is over I'll change my mind but if Jokic somehow finishes his career with just these 3x MVPs and one title I wonder if many will feel different.
