Game 3 it was 1v1 and that's why Tatum dropped 31 with less assist and rebounds because he didn't need to focus on that. And I'm not discrediting Brown by any means. However, the defensive looks towards Tatum compared to Brown is not the same this series, and it has been blatant. If You can't see it.... I got nothing

JB is a phenomenal player and deserves all the credit he’s been getting. He’s not as good as Tatum. People always suffer from recency bias and forget that even though Tatum is in a shooting slump, he’s making winning plays all over the court. He averaged 30-10-6 in the conference finals and didn’t win MVP. He scored the most points in a game 7 in NBA history last year. He dropped 46 on the road in an elimination game vs Milwaukee in 2022. Brown gets to play one on one because when the defense doubles, it’s always Tatum. And he has been making the right plays over and over in the playoffs. People criticized him for playing hero ball and not winning, and now that he’s playing team ball and winning, he’s being criticized for it. JB is worth every bit of the contract - Tatum is the better player.
JT is a better shooter but JB is a better defender and is better in the post and going to the basket.

This should be a wake up call for Luka cuz the Celtics just exposed him but forcing him to play defense and not just help defense but actual one vs one defense. He said the NBA was easier than Euro well he shouldn’t be complaining about playoffs basketball where refs don’t call every contest. His lack of athleticism and defense was exploited which made his offense to slowly dissaper cuz he is out of shape and isn’t fit enough to play both sides.
