We're heading to South Africa for a more traditional True Crime Case today. I'm trying to expirement and improve the microphone audio, music and video quality again in this one, let me know what you think. Have a good week all, and stay safe! - Adrian ☕
So many people in this world are dying of loneliness. This guy had a loving father, a loving wife, and he threw it all away because of greed and a meaningless affair. Life really isn't fair. RIP Jayde.
Many guys dream to have a loving wife, yet he killed her. She just wanted to feel loved, instead she suffered a horrible death. World is unfair, but at least he was caught and his life is now over.
@@nicoledoubleyou I disagree. Loneliness leads to poor mental health. There's a reason why mental illnesses and suicides are up during the pandemic. Not to mention the increase in drug addictions and overdoses.
That’s all the little shop girl mistress wanted….she didn’t care about sleeping with a husband, she really wanted a nice bag..! How shallow….I really hope this beautiful educator of young minds, this improver of lives, haunts her for the rest of her days…so very sad…the husband is a piece of shit, fancy going out for burger when you’ve got fillet steak at home..!
Yes, the mistress would have for sure dropped him if he couldn't give her material things. Men complain the can't find good women and over and over these guys fall all over themselves for the women that use them and cast the genuine ones to the side.
I came to the realization that letting someone go and not stringing them along comes from LOVE. People who are cheating like this man do no love the other person, they're not looking out for that person's best interest, that's why cheaters cheat and don't just break up, they don't care about that other person like they think they do.
@@PinAnims They want it all. It’s much better to have a wife at home for all the domestic stuff and have a side piece for fun. Sad but true for many people. Many woman do this as well though. It’s not just a man thing.
@@casualSimRacer3312 You forgot that his father literally gave him an ultimatum, if he wanted to inherit anything from him, he needed to stay with her. If that didn't happen, i believe there's a good chance he'd just divorce her. A greedy person like him will choose to kill his wife or his father, and he chose the wife because he already has a mistress and didn't want to spend more money on her.
Chris wasn't willing to give up that inheritance. His father was loyal and loved Jade, & demanded his son be a man of honor. Oh how I wish Chris was as honorable as his father was 😢.
My niece was murdered by her husband who had been having an affair for 2 years, so this story really hit home with me. Thanks for reporting this tragedy with your usual compassionate resolve.
Sorry but it takes balls, i.e. daring, to carry on an affair for a decade & to orchestrate a murder. What he lacked was character, morality, care, love, gratitude.
Because his father would have disowned him, remember that the condition was if he kept cheating on her or left her to get with his mistress, his father would disown and disinherit him. He was basically a greedy little bastard who never really cared about Jade.
I’ll never understand why people resort to killing their “loved ones” instead of just walking away from the relationship. So many lives ruined by one mans selfishness.
As a lonely guy myself, I'm touched by how sweet and kind Jayde was. She was everything that a sane man could have wanted, yet he killed her because of how selfish he was. It's honestly sickening and heartbreaking at the same time
It is meaningless! Jayde was just kind and innocent. Chris could have just walked away and left the marriage (or not marry her in the first place), so maybe other men could have a chance to meet her, love and care for like she deserved. This monster claimed two women for years, and then removed one of them from this world. For no good reason at all.
This is such a sad case... imagine rather having your wife killed than just saying: hey I'm not in love with you anymore and I was cheating on you... horrible
it made sense to him because his wife would’ve taken half of everything after a divorce and he needed money for his side chick, he should’ve just ran away and left a note
Jayde was my teacher... And I can truly say that she was kindhearted, well-respected, and my favourite teacher. I moved over to another school not too long after being her student, and saw her a few years later (I never knew she had married) and greeted her with an enthusiastic "Hello Miss Inggs!". She asked me how I was doing and we had a little chat. A few months later I was in class when a classmate asked me if I'd heard she disappeared. I was completely gutted, and kster that day another teacher just casually mentioned that her body was found. I burst out crying. She didn't deserve the pain, she didn't deserve those frightening last moments. She would have gladly given anyone the clothes off her own back. RIP Miss Inggs
The tragedy and horror of her story is hard to grasp. Felt very bad for this poor woman who only wanted to be loved and to give love and kindness and then getting murdered for nothing. Very very sad. May her spirit continue to live within her forner pupils like you!
This poor woman. She has such a kind face. All she wanted was for her husband to show her attention and affection but, nah, he effing murders her instead. My heart breaks for her.
How disgusting is it for a husband who was already cheating on his wife that desperately loved him have her killed. There is a special place in hell for this guy.
I hope he finds god but I'm not going to be praying for him. He very unlikable, most murders on this channel, you can find a sliver lining to them but not this guy. The comments 100% show it too.
She was my teacher - bright, bubbly and caring. This is so strange to watch this, like an out-of-body experience but it was undoubtedly real when it happened. I still remember the day we were called into the school hall to be told the bad news, the whole hall erupted with terror and cries, which is why when you mentioned and showed the image of the students I feel that pain. It was truly painful. After I got over the disbelief and sadness, I was angry. I hate what he did to her because of the potential she had and all the people that were effected by her murder and I was angry for her poor family's sake. It is still a horrible part of history for a lot people but thank you for making this video though, it helps keep her memory alive. I hope this never happens again to anyone.
@B4Y SH!T what makes you an expert on how someone reacts to trauma?? Have you experienced ptsd, or long term ptsd? You are a soulless being. I am sure we will be watching about you soon enough on this channel. You sound like bad news through and through
Although the father was a good man with good intentions, I think his threat of taking his son out of the inheritance if he left Jayde might have prevented him from simply leaving her. So, in his disgusting and twisted mind, the only way to "leave" the wife and still get the money from his father was to kill her. This was one of the sadder stories I've watched in recent times. Poor thing.
Those were my thought, too. Never should he had told his son any such thing. However, since I am also Greek, family and honor are held in the highest esteem. The father went about it the wrong way, especially when his son valued money more than family.
Nope, don't put this on the father, the son made every choice in his life regardless of what the dad said. The son chose to cheat. The son chose to lie. The son chose to kill. The responsibility lies only with the son.
@@holyknight70 I agree ,however what the father said was a catalyst to the outcome. When someone feels cornered,he/she will do the unthinkable. That was my point. Ob iously ,the son did what he did ,but we need to look at the whole picture and come to conclusions.
I do not think it had anything to do with her dad . He had his businesses he didn’t need the money if he concentrated on his business and wife….he just chose mistress and had no heart and chose to kill a nice person over his problems he created
As an isiXhosa speaker, I’m giving you a 10/10 for pronouncing “Gqeberha” and “Xhosa” beautifully 😭, I’m so proud of you! Even South Africans tend to butcher those words 😂
@@siyasanga_makie I had no idea if his pronunciation was correct or not, but was impressed at how flawlessly he dropped it in the middle of his sentence without missing a beat.
Good on the father for seeing how horrible his son was behaving and didn’t side with him simply for being another man, and the parent. We don’t see this that often, so it’s nice to see a decent person in all this.
You don't see the father as manipulative? He threatened to withhold the fortune which caused the son to marry a girl that he probably would have eventually let go of naturally to then be with the girl he really wanted. This whole thing could have been avoided.
@@hambone9444 there’s a lot of ifs and buts there. He isn’t responsible for her death. He told his son to wise up and stop playing around and his son decided to become a killer. Not the dad.
@@hambone9444 so youre saying that the dad is what caused the girl to be murdered? And you know, not the debt the dude was getting himself into. He even stated he had her killed because he couldn’t keep up with both women and he picked her to be cut down. What on earth convinced you to think the dads to blame? You’re deflecting blame off the guy and his motive.
I'll never forget reading an interview with her sister Toni, where Toni was describing spending the night comforting Chris, certain he felt the same pain as she did. Just chilling beyond words. I have so much respect for Toni who stood her ground so valiantly through all of it. A true warrier.
she married a dirt bag cheater. that is not doing everything right. i hope other women will stop marrying these type of men. all it would take is going through their phone, computer and having hot women approach them when they are alone to find out what dogs they are.
@@Daniel-tx2vt So much toxicity in two responses alone. Do they think making fun of a murder victim makes them better men, or something? Like what? lol
@@leemelvin6514 please go back to reddit, you won’t embarrass yourself there with the other worthless members of society who think the world owes them women
@🥀Flower🥀 I am 100% positive she didn't have a hot sexy woman approach him prior to marriage to test his faithfulness. Hell, I am pretty sure she never even searched his phone or computer. Not blaming her, it's normal. Men and women make mistakes when dating. Especially women as once feelings and emotions are involved, it's difficult to make smart decisions. This should be a learning lesson to women out there. Doesn't matter how nice or good you think your man is, you gotta do everything in your power to test him and uncover everything. And immediately leave them over cheating.
I grew up a couple of houses from Jayde, my mom was her teacher in High school. She was such a kind, caring and gentle woman. Chris has always been a sneaky fuckin asshole and he didn't deserve her. I remember talking to my mom while we were all still awaiting the news after she got kidnapped, before she was murder, we were absolutely gutted. May her soul rest in peace.
Can I just say, I audibly cheered when you pronounced Gqeberha correctly. You have done what so many fail to do and it really shows your respect for the cases that you cover
Please people, just divorce. No need to steal such a beautiful life from this earth. For him to talk so calmly about murdering his wife chills my blood. Another great video, thank you Adrian.
@@Soniciscool1214 it is… but no matter the length it takes it’s always better then murdering your spouse. Is it fair to kill someone’s child because life is not fair or simple? NO

I had mutual friends with Jayde. This story shocked so many in our town. Absolutely heartbreaking. She worked as a teacher at the school I used to attend.
Truly heartbreaking A respectable woman who loved by their students and friends and the only thing she wished for is being loved as a woman by her own husband turned into her demise. May she rest in peace and god know that she'll always be remembered as a good person in her friends, students and her family
I lived in the same town as her and was residing there when this happened. It was so traumatizing, I remember being at her memorial service at her school where she taught , all the young students that balled their eyes out was something I'll never forget to this day. She was such a loving and kind soul. Forever rest in peace Jayde.
Wherever Jayde's soul went to when she died, I hope she's ok. Rest in Peace, Jayde. You deserved to be in a relationship that didn't involve cheating...I hope you're ok, wherever your soul ended up.
This is one of the best true crime channels out there for several reasons: from conception to posting these videos are produced with sensitivity, tact, respect, professionalism, and with an eye for victim-oriented heartfelt storytelling without being trite or sappy; it is biased from an “everyday person” perspective with a true fascination for crime across the world - Adrian has started from areas familiar to him but evidence of him branching out to different cultures and geographical destinations make his channel intriguing and diverse in scope, and I’m curious to see where each video will take us; his delivery is personal yet respectful, heartfelt yet factual. His direct narrator-like approach let’s us see a little of his own amiable personality which makes the telling of the victim’s stories ever more relatable. This is all in contrast to almost all other true crime channels. Thank you Adrian for your time and dedication to stories that need telling outside of the courts, prisons and media.

Bruh, Chris's voice is so infuriating. He sounds like a man who's so full of himself and doesn't think anything can go wrong in his sick, sadistic scheme.
Thank you for thinking of South-Africa, Coffeehouse Crime. This case is SO sad! I've watched this one recently. Murder has no geographic boundaries, was a very cruel case.
People are sick man. Wanting to have your wife, who hasn’t done anything at all, killed is so insane. Sometimes there’s volatile couples and lots of resentment so you can kinda see how it can escalate to murder but this case is a whole different thing. That poor woman. I hope they throw him under the jail. She deserved so much more. Just get a divorce, or how about don’t marry someone when you’re already having an affair before the marriage even starts. Good grief
As a South African, this was a devastating crime. The murders of Jayde, Anni Dewani, Uyinene Mrwetyana and Judge President Bernard Ngoepe’s 4yr old granddaughter broke me 😢💔
I am also South African. I enjoy the stories you do of our country. I am so used to hearing American and British stories that we have all heard a million times before, especially us true crime lovers. This is so relatable and well researched content, please do more. We have many interesting cases. Check out the 'Modimolle Monster', possibly a little violent, The British honeymoon couple, that was an arranged hit, Anni Dewani, very interesting, Jimmy Maketta, Henri Van Breda
Jayde was beautiful. My goodness; this dude had the life most of us dream of having. Successful and with a beautiful woman by your side. Now he’s sitting in prison 🙄
In this case he did not think it was easier. He thought if he divorces her, he would lose the inheritance. So economically speaking for him it was more rentable for her to die. He really thought he couldn't pull this off and he could have, if he would have hired a competent hitman that would have used a mask for instance when going to the ATM or that would not have used the ATM, or that would have killed her without the motive of robbery, but would have instead made it look like it was a ritual killing or something similar, or a sexual abuse killing. Would have been easier to stage and much more believable since those things unfortunately happen often and specially in South Africa. But good they did not plan the heinous murder properly and that they got all caught pretty fast. Such a sad life she had. Not only a cheating but also a murderous husband.
@@TeaCup1940 he would not lose the inheritance though, the dad at the end of the day would need to pass the money off to him (even if the dad did not want to).

I remember this case. The entire South Africa was in shock when we found out it was the husband all along. Now that you said it, his channel has totally grown well! Was introduced to this channel from my brother last May and his content is just amazing! Deserved 🖤
From what the video presented it is because Chris cared more about the inheritance than his own wife. Remember, his father learned of the affair and did hit Chris with what made him squirm, disinheriting Chris if the affair continued or there was a divorce. Admirable of the father to do so at least.
I know exactly what the wife was going through because I went to a similar situation after I quit my job and helped my ex husband establish his own business! But one thing about me is when you show me who you are the first time I believe you and I filed for divorce a week after finding out he was cheating and had his mistress pregnant. I got 50% of his business and my kids and I have moved on!🤷🏽♀️
Except Jayde didn't know about the affair smh why would you even bring your situation into this when this woman was killed for a senseless reason! He literally paid the pos mistress and her bestie with gifts to keep them quiet and stupidly chose to have his wife robbed/killed to cover up an affair and money problems.
That’s why some men kill rather than divorce ffs. The type of divorce that divests him of half his assets and an ongoing chunk of his income. It’s all about the money unfortunately ... are you just gloating at others misfortune ?? You being clever and all ...

I don't understand how a woman can go along with an affair with a guy who is obviously in a serious relationship. Their relationship is "secret" and is carried on in hotel rooms and in the bed where his wife sleeps? Eww. I don't get it. My ex had an affair and even brought her into my home while I was at work. I wasn't desperate enough to stay with him.
@Jennifer Rose Bruce you are talking about a woman who is sleeping with a married man that got married AFTER the affair started and has probably told you some BS about how it's a marriage of convenience, or my wife and I don't have sex often and I don't enjoy it when we do because it's not you 🙄, or we don't have sex because my wife hates sex, or any number of other BS lies and this mistress BELIEVES everything he says. She's obviously not very bright. Unless she really does know he's the killer or she is very much involved in the murder, her biggest crime is stupidity and unfortunately, there's no jail time for that offense. 😂😂😂
The way he humanizes victims of crime at the end is another thing I love about his videos. We dive deep into these murder cases, and with our fascination we sometimes forget. These true crime stories are not just stories, they’re real and so are the victims.
Choosing murder over divorce, leaving - a truly broken mind. Sad 💔. His father was a good man for calling out his son's s***. What a beautiful city; thank you for another great video ✌🏾

Those were my thought, too. Never should he had told his son any such thing. However, since I am also Greek, family and honor are held in the highest esteem. The father went about it the wrong way, especially when his son valued money more than family.

His father threatened his inheritance so inside his tiny delusional mind he thought the only way to still get this inheritance was to has wife murder.
That's how it always is. I am so thankful I got out unscathed. But I feel bad for Jayde. You can tell she was a wonderful person by seeing all the pictures.
lol diss on the mistress.. how do you know that she wasnt caring and loving as well? :) im against cheating and never cheated in my life.. but if i did it would be my fault only..
@@darkodarko9 You are right, it is the fault of the person cheating. But you still have to have a lack of empathy and be an immoral person to sleep with a man who has a lovely wife at home. 😔

Coffeehouse crime is eloquently delivered. Thank you Bro. You are doing an awesome job. Love your content
Feel like a proud parent seeing those subs rise as an early viewer, that’s our Adrian ☺️
I found the channel at 10k subs it’s blown up congrats to him 😊
Now that you said it, his channel has totally grown well! Was introduced to this channel from my brother last May and his content is just amazing! Deserved 🖤
And it’s all with thanks to you early folks! Thank you for sticking around!
I watched the very first episode and have been hooked every since.. we do love our Adrian !
I respect the father for saying to end the affair, its sad it wasent enough :(
Why cant they just choose divorce :(
From what the video presented it is because Chris cared more about the inheritance than his own wife. Remember, his father learned of the affair and did hit Chris with what made him squirm, disinheriting Chris if the affair continued or there was a divorce. Admirable of the father to do so at least.
She’d get half in the divorce that’s why
Divorce courts as setup now incentivize murder. Same with life insurance. Sad reality. It seems like most spousal murder cases involve these 2.
@@toomuchtruth its so weird to gamble ur life like that , live rich vs live in a jail cell ....

Smart lady
Except Jayde didn't know about the affair smh why would you even bring your situation into this when this woman was killed for a senseless reason! He literally paid the pos mistress and her bestie with gifts to keep them quiet and stupidly chose to have his wife robbed/killed to cover up an affair and money problems.
That’s why some men kill rather than divorce ffs. The type of divorce that divests him of half his assets and an ongoing chunk of his income.
It’s all about the money unfortunately ... are you just gloating at others misfortune ?? You being clever and all ...
Thats the trend in america lol.
Wow ,I'm watching from South Africa you said Gqeberha perfectly!!!love your channel even more...you really work so hard to give insights of the locations and people you talk about. Very thorough and respectful done always.
Was also surprised how he pronounced it
I don't understand how a woman can go along with an affair with a guy who is obviously in a serious relationship. Their relationship is "secret" and is carried on in hotel rooms and in the bed where his wife sleeps? Eww. I don't get it. My ex had an affair and even brought her into my home while I was at work. I wasn't desperate enough to stay with him.
Because she also was a douche!
@Jennifer Rose Bruce prosecute someone for having an affair? is having an affair against the law? 😒
It takes two to tango. Smh..the shares equal BLAME!!
@Jennifer Rose Bruce
But suppose the mistress wasn’t even aware of the guy’s marital status, that she was being strung along much like the wife?

The way he humanizes victims of crime at the end is another thing I love about his videos. We dive deep into these murder cases, and with our fascination we sometimes forget. These true crime stories are not just stories, they’re real and so are the victims.
That is the reason I continue to choose his channel for true crime
Choosing murder over divorce, leaving - a truly broken mind. Sad 💔. His father was a good man for calling out his son's s***.
What a beautiful city; thank you for another great video ✌🏾
I can't believe he killed his wife for another woman.
How selfish.
Now he won’t be with anyone 👌🏽
@@libraempress2069 Oh I don't know he might meet some people in the shower.

This woman got murdered and all you care about is your own love life? Get a grip.
Why does cheating turn this way? Is killing better than divorce? How does murdering even enter one's mind?
Selfishness
Desperation and frustration. It can build over many years. It's sad what one's brain can seemingly justify simply given their living situation.
Fear, guilt, selfishness and pride, you can divorce your spouse for the sweetheart but the spouse is still alive to show people what kind of a person you are.
Mainly selfishness and pride I feel though, and it's petty and unfair, a loss is a loss, deal with it if it's your fault, live with your bad decisions and in this case the loss of the father's inheritance.
All he had to do was be a man, take his loss and move on it's not like his father would stop loving is son.
Well usually it's the other way around, Chris watts is the only other example I can think of with the person commiting the cheating commiting the murder, it's usually the other way around
