I have been here. Beautiful and although it seems very rural, everything you need is close by. Livingston and Gardiner are great towns and you are close to Yellowstone. With that said, Yellowstone is a National Park, this ranch could be too, same topography and be careful where you walk, the same wild animals!
There's also wild horses that still run free.😊
They probably have a plane or helicopter to travel easily. Also they are millionaires so they have lots of staff to run and maintain plus take care of the animals. The owners may also have other homes in one or more locations, cities, or even countries and may only be at the ranch when they like. People with this level of money live a lifestyle we can only imagine.

There's a ranch about 40 miles from where I live that recently within the last few years sold for $12 million. Size of the ranch is 18,900 acres and includes oil leases and various landscapes and features including about 5 miles of highway frontage.
The Sitka Ranch was listed at 26 million. Don't know if it's been purchased yet tho.

I'm not sure how much land your houses are built on... but 30 meters x 30 meters is about 1/4 acre. So this ranch could fit about 120,000 1/4 acre home lots if you wanted to build a city

Yes, it's nice during the 3 months that it's nice there. But when the winter comes, you have subzero temperatures blizzards frozen ground just think of that. Winter temperatures can hit -40 c
There is not need to designate the temp as -40c, just say -40 is all you need.

Aside from cattle, sheep and horses, any other animals you see on one of these thousand acre ranches are wildlife. Any deer, elk, moose, beer and fowl are simply an added benefit to the environment on these types of ranches

Most of these ranch one cattle an horse production an because it is attached to a national park they are alloted so many tags for hunting elk deer an any other big game there. Than there's the bird hunters that frequent the ranch an the fishing nothing is free an you can rent lease for a week at a price an it ain't cheap. An if you have to use one of the tags for big game than you better have a significant bank account cause it will cost you dearly. Mostly caters to the rich of course. That's why if you noticed it has a managers house where someone runs the operations for you. I'm sure its self sustainable but you need the 28 mil. That i think it sold for. There is ranches like this all over the west. 150 head of cattle is not a big operation though actually that's small.

so you're paying $22M for the acreage, and $5M for the house, barns, structures, equipment, and livestock, assuming they're leaving it all behind in the sale. The land value is too high IMHO. I have trouble with $5K/acre or more as being reasonable.
This is not a rare place in America. There are many such places or better places or slightly less scattered all over the country. Apart from the storms, America has many very nice places to live, a lot of cozy small towns, incredible suburbs and subdivisions. Lots of armed police of every description ready to come to your aid. The only places that you should avoid, are the big cities, where many are in decline.
