Gameplay Video (Walkthrough) für das Spiel Turok 2 - Seeds of Evil (PC/N64)
Level 1 - Port of Adia
Played Uncut PC Version
(C) Acclaim, Iguana Entertainment 1998
Im amazed that this guy knows exactly where to go yet it still takes him over a half hour to complete. such complicated level design.
So many memories... I spent countless hours playing this game... Unforgettable.
I remember how advanced this game was when it came out, the graphics were cutting edge, the game engine top notch (like when you killed an enemy instead of just falling the same way every time they would fall in a somewhat random fashion), arrows sticking out of bodies, etc. Even if it was a polygon based graphics game, it was amazing.
Aren't all 3d games polygon based now?
I suppose they are, but you know what I mean, "rounded" objects appearing less than round, (circles that are actually octagons)
This and Perfect Dark.... smfh, we're technically fossils
I think ours came with the expansion pack! Looked even greater, when you plugged that in!
It's still fucking phenomenal. With all the new shit, Fortnight, Watchtower, The Halo's, they took the time to re-master and re-release THIS game. Not Golden Eye (which was amazing) or Perfect Dark (also amazing) But this. Even after playing the HOTTEST of new titles, like the new Doom, this game still holds up. On the N64, or the Remake, which is faster paced because the controls are modern gaming level polished and precise, but either way, slow and casual killing and exploration on the 64, or fast paced contemporary first person battles on the re-release, the game still holds up. most ambitious game on the N64... modern masterpiece.
Am I the only one who got scared when playing this especially in the dark scenes?? hey i was 7!!
I remember telling my friends at school about the cerebral bore back in 1999 when I was 10. Most gruesome thing I've ever seen back then. What fun it was.
Oh my God... the nostalgia is too much
+Crichjo32 i know how you feel :)
and im sure all the people here feels the same :')
we miss you original Turok
It's to much, I openend up the video and said to myself, ''My god I loved this game. '' Still do, actually.
Find it online to download for PC.
I still own it for the N64 but I wanted to try it on PC and I'm currently playing it.
@@MrHulsi Actually I´m having all kinds of chills and crying waterfalls right now, because of the music....
I had trouble with this game when I was younger, and here you are just casually slaughtering everyone, lol.
He actually had pretty bad aim. Guess I cannot say much though.
Drahsid yeah his aim sucks damn
Best parts of this game were "Thank you Turok" "I am Turok!" and every time she says your new weapon as you pick it up. lol Seriously, one of my favorite games ever. They don't make soundtracks or weapon selection like this anymore.
What I love are the gun sounds especially the shotgun they just don't seem the same like that shotgun had such a deep put an end to it boom
This is the best Turok game I have ever played. (on my N64). It is so rich in story and had good graphics (for 1998). The music is also unlike anything I've ever heard in any other FPS. This game felt like it was more than a typical FPS. You really become immersed in the mythology. Every new map was different from the last. One of my favorites being the caverns with the cyclops monsters. Since this game, I purchased the PS2 Turok and was really disappointed with it. It didn't come anywhere near the quality and depth of TSOE. I saw that Propaganda made a Turok as well, but after watching video reviews, it was disheartening to see they turned Turok into a typical FPS with marines... I hope some day, a worthy game company can pick up ol' Turok and create an epic adventure game just like TSOE, but with even more amazing graphics and sound.
Although I love Turok 2, I do like the first one more, because of the better soundtrack, because its faster and the level design. You didn't mention the third game - Shadow of Oblivion, but I guess it was for you a disappointment as well.
EvilGamesNPageDE
Ohhhh.... Actually I never tried Shadow of Oblivion. At the time it was released I was really distracted with work. Is that one any good? Also, I played the first Turok on N64 but very briefly. I do recall enjoying to some extent but never really got to immerse myself as deeply as TSOE.
@@NexusArtRealm shadows of oblivion is totally worth it! Multiplayer is choice!
This game was my childhood
I remember the anticipation of the Turok 2 release. I had been eagerly saving my pocket money for ages. Remember proudly walking into Argos on a Saturday morning and buying it! Golden FPS days. This game was way ahead of it's time!
Navigating thru these levels were so frustrating fck lol
That's a good thing. Too much handholding in games. Now we have a compass that tells you the exact shelf in the exact room in the exact building your objective is in even when you're a mile away.
Damn right, games nowadays play for you
It literally took weeks maybe months to complete one level
It's games like 'THIS' that need to be on next-gen..
How this game got overlooked and we constantly keep churning out repetitive fps shooters like call of duty is beyond me...
Goldeneye
Doom
Turok
THOSE are quality popular Games of their time... and all overlooked.
It's so sad...
Although Halo was good to go (didn't try the X360 titles), the shooter genre is somewhat dead. I stopped trying out such games because, like you say, they are repetitive and thats why they absolutely suck.
There were a few remakes for goldeneye tho. Not the same as the original one Forsure !
that's what I mean, the original was always best... the bunker level and the dam were my favorites.
EvilGamesNPageDE Agreed....
Shawn11986 lol I used to always play the 1st bunker level just to hear the song....
I didn't realize this was remastered till I started watching it...this looks amazing. Loved this game. Got stuck somewhere and never got to finish. Something about this gameplay is very satisfying.
For 1998 this still looks decent.
its from 1997
EpicGift 1998
Trust me dude I was counting the days until release.
Michael Williams
oh yeah sorry i was thinking of turok 1 cx
one of the best games on the N64, hands down. the level design is fucking second to none and the graphics, worlds and weapons all still destroy anything coming out in the current gen. the gameplay was a bit rough around the edges but this is still a classic regardless
I have to disagree with the level desing thing, it was horrible, almost like a maze, you could get lost very easily
I don't know, but when this game was released it was the greatest game I have played until that day.
I remember this game and Ocarina of Time came out at the same time. I honestly liked this better. One of the most underrated games of fall time.
I never made it further than this level. Playing as a child, I thought of this game as scary haha
There's something about this game that makes it a visual masterpiece, even compared to modern high end games. I play it frequently to this day. One of the greatest video games ever made.
Denfktinso Noyb It's not all about texture resolution and good looking lighting and reflection effects in every corner. Old games can look great too - not just Turok 2. Think of emulators, SNES games with high quality filters for example. Or simply a good graphics style that is more enjoyable than others - just like in this game (and its predecessor by the way).
EvilGamesNPageDE I don't think it's necessarily graphics as it is atmosphere and creative environment design.
I mean, some of the best landscapes I've ever seen were from Minecraft.
Incredible game! Turok 2 has always been in my top ten of favorite games of all time. Thanks for video!
Yeah I love it also. So huge and interesting level designs. What are the rest of 10?
@@MegaAbgt oh man that's a tough one. I'de really have to sit down and think about that one.
This level between the music and the fluent gameplay, such an awesome game!
I remember my dad bought this home and me trying to figure out what it was about. Popped it on and played for hours. Felt nostalgic and decided to look it up. I remember the phrase turok save me and me screaming give me a damn chance
This is when shooters were amazing, then again, Turok is also a platformer. Man, I miss classic games.
Death animations are so lovely for its time.
Excellent quality video and very good gameplay. This is one of my favorites, I remember waiting forever for it to come out for the N64. I'm gonna watch all of these.
beware oblivion is at hand
(; chu know what im talking about
The master cheat code. lol
Oblivion is out there.
Indeed.
Hell yea just make sure to not use spaces.
kiljaedenn lololol
Who else is replaying turok today? I am actually currently playing it for the 5th time, I still haven't gotten past the first level, because I usually get distracted. Now its been a great game so far! MAKE ANOTHER TUROK. Preferably a remake of this one
I'm playing it and I'm stuck in the first episode. Argghh I can't find that last distress beacon!
how do I select difficulties in this game? it starts on easy by default and combat is too...easy
Old PC Gaming You need to select the games difficulty in the options menu before starting a new game.
Does anyone know how to find this, I'm having trouble finding it
Thomas Motherway
You can select the games difficulty in the options menu. by default it's on easy. You need to change it before you start/load a saved game or it will be greyed out. You can't change difficulty after starting a game
also, change the FOV to make it easier. lower console and type: set fov 80
Sounds great! In celebrationg of palutena being released for ssb4 and it coming out later this year I'm replaying tons of n64 games
Never truly appreciated this games soundtrack till now but man this level 1 music sounds so amazing
16:01 Thumbs up if you get stucked for hours because of this damn hidden switch!
As a kid, I was stuck on the first part because I never knew to shoot the barrel!
...You got farther in 6 minutes than I did in the hours I spent slaving away at this game trying to figure it out..
BEWAREOBLIVIONISATHAND
watch the last frame of the video... "cheats enabled" Plus this is the re-mastered re-release, the controls were more accurate, and it had a cross hair, made enemies alot easier than the original, so don't feel bad
New cheat enabled not cheats enabled. He finished the first level so he get a cheat code as a reward and the n64 version has a crosshair too.
I love how turok jumps in the air. Some say he's wall kicking from the wall he's getting off, some say it's bad design. I say I don't give a fuck because it's so convenient and simplify stuff THAT much.
God i loved this game as a kid :D
Games look better today but they are not as creative or awesome as games like this! The n64 was and is such a fantastic console! Pure fun. Nothing is better than retro and classic video games. Oh, and turok 2 soundtrack is so good
I love this Game so much i played it everytime as a little child but i couldn't reach the end once :'D
And to think I was about 6 when this came out and I was playing not as good as this but. I was able to navigate through the maps very well for a kid. So much Nostalgia when I would just get up on a saturday morning, never watched cartoons, always played video games instead of morning shows.
This brings back childhood memories
I love this song, but like the N64 version better. My damn childhood right here
dudes the sound track is fuckin awesome. metalcore at its purest level ;)
This is "metalcore?" i always thought metalcore was emo wuss crying over endless breakdowns with the occasional harmonized iron maiden ripoff riff.
Superb game, and absolute pleasure to play. I honestly never knew they released if for PC. I thougth the music sounded different.
The explosions in the beginning remind me of a Michael Bay movie!
protect the energy totem at all costs #bringbackgoodgames
You can buy it on amazon or ebay. If you want it to run properly on newer operating systems, you need an extra patch. You can find that one on my homepage at downloads.
one of the best games I played ...
the nostalgia is too much
This game deserves a remake!
out already, just so u know
Got the remake. Plays like the original version, but it's better looking. Also more enemies.
Jovan Mitrić All the franchise for that matter. Try asking at Change.org
actually its perfect the way it is.... a great game like this cannot be duplicated. just sayin.
Subscribe me if you want more Turok 2
The music is just phenomenally great!
I was scared to close the door while I was playing this game when I was younger LOL
this was a masterpiece in its time, and it still does!
This game always had a weird vibe to It
I know right, it has elements of a survival horror video game
N64 days!! Multiplayer was the shit... goody goody for me lol
Replaying with the Project 64 emulator! Great game! Definitely one of my favorite video game soundtracks! So epic!
For the PC Version it was SHIFT, but I don't think thats the standard configuration. For N64 it is something like this:
press right on the D-
pad, then hold R and press the C buttons (up and down) to focus the
view.
I still remember the ultimate cheat code for this. bewareoblivionisathand
Josh Alt :DD PC version is "oblivionisoutthere"
+Faust M. (F3rline) I had it for Nintendo 64. :)
They have an HD remaster out now, and it is the first time I'm playing this game. So much fun!
the most scariest violent game ever
I was a brave little bastard playing this game as a kid lol
Back when games had no reloads. Just the total amount of bullets you have left.
Bought this game in 98, played it for a week and never touched it again. I couldn’t get past the second level. First game I ever played that just didn’t make sense to me. But I was hooked on goldeneye at the time which is superior in every way to Turok.
Cara na boa! Pode lançar o ps1000 não importa... esse jogo marcou minha vida nos games!! Sempre vai ser o melhor!!!! *-*
Da best Turok game in da entire series. Can't wait to buy It for da Switch.
The music is fucking amazing. I need to play this
The music!!!!! Jus epic.
great music one of my favorites
This is how FPSs should be, fuck regenerating health and weapon limits and scripted set pieces. The first level of Turok 2 is better than every Call of Doodie and Halo game combined.
Same goes for Quake 2, another legendary FPS.
Had to go back and re-listen to the n64 soundtrack to make sure i wasn't losing my mind. PC version chops off the last 45 seconds or so.
Game was so good
I remember friends and I playing this game in multiplayer quite a bit more than Golden Eye.
This game should definitely be on consoles and be remade and it will be a extreme hit!Trust me!
Foreal tho today is the day!
I use to love the monster infighting in this game as a kid.
the halo games remind me very much of this one. the graphics, the physics, the great sound, the atmosphere, the way the enemies react when they get hit, the constant "push the button - open a door" mechanic :D
30:38 Luring you out with a supposed chance to get the Nuke piece without a fight. It's Trollblivion.
A classic FPS. I don't say this often, but remake please!
For an N64 game, the visuals are DANG good.
man i played this when i was very young and it fucked my brain.
all me and my brother ended up doing was rolling around after doing as much as we could understand, and unleashing the cerebral bore on fucking everything we could see. it still is the most baddass and fucked up weapon in video games to date IMO
no, this is the pc version in high resolution
my favorite n64 game.
I still have this game lol
Fantastic job, warrior 🏹
que buena musica tenia y que tiene este videojuego wow que tiempos fueron esos de mi infancia
Who needs the flashlight with the game this bright
This game has an Atmosphere.
The steam release is so f'n good. I appreciate it 20X more after watching this original gameplay...
Thanks for the upload. Nice quality too. :)
It is from 1998 and is called: Turok 2 - Seeds of Evil. The video shows the PC version of the game (the NTSC-U version)
This game was awesome!
my brain just blew up because of the nostalgia...
First game I ever played love it!!!!!!!!!
thank you, Turok....
I loved this game...and Nightmare Creatures
I would like this version. Still rocking my n64
Always remember that music
This was one of my favorite games as a Kid
Who the heck was Adia's security architect? Let's put all these switches for the gates in a random house in town. Let's put this one up on the wall so we'd need to stack boxes to reach it (21:27). I know it's for gameplay, but when you think of in actual context it's kind of funny.
wow I remember when I played this game.... nostalgia 😍
Fuckin brilliant game this wish I could play it again :'(
memories playing this cheat code for weapons
This game is so awesome I played them all and to think what we have now this game could hold its own against any game now the newer games look better because of the engine but this game was the first of the gun porn this game so deserves a remake on next gen consoles I would be the first to
order
I remember playing this with the cheat codes of course lol
BEWAREOBLIVIONISATHAND lmao
thanks bro! your video really helped me out
This dude is a beast with the bow
Wow, the music sounds better on PC than it does on N64.
